Wouldn't that just take two DUD level matches and make them one DUD level match? Yes. But it would take two 5-7 minute horrible matches and make them one horrible 5-7 minute tag. I don't know about you, but I'm all for bad wrestling getting less time on my TV.

Well, you can always get the WM's Ten Greatest matches from somewhere. If you own the WMXX DVD, it's an extra on there. Just type some of the lyrics into google and you'll get the artist and song name.

Just to make a point here: The entire reason that companies give stock dividends is that sareholders can profit from the company making a profit. If the company makes a profit, and they don't give a dividend, you KNOW that money they make is getting re-invested. Is it possible that vince is taking his dividend cash and spending it on the WWE? yes. However, it's more plausable that he's pocketing it for himself and his family.

I could somewhat understand this sentiment before. However, anyone that still thinks this after viewing Rock/Hogan, is insane. I want to be entertained. That's the bottom line. I think we all do. I want great wrestling also, but sometimes, if a match can entertain me greatly, that can overtake poor workrate. The problem, in my view, with being a "smark" is that sometimes you're so busy looking for psychology, pacing, etc. that you forget about the mark part of that moniker, and just concentrate on the first word. Sometimes matches that are entertaining, but where the wrestling isn't that good, can be fun. Prime example recently being Triple H/Eugene. Rating the match on the wrestling portion it's probably about *1/4. However, I was incredibly entertained by the story the match told, and the antics of the wrestlers. I had FUN watching said match. This bumps up the rating considerably.

Hire competent, proven writers. Let them run the show and allow input from the talent and other nonwrestlers, and let Vince have the final say. However, Vince needs to stop being an idiot first. On an off topic note, Coffey, your sig boggles my mind, because I could've sworn for the life of me that Michaels Superkicked janetty through the window when he turned.

In my mind, there's a difference between being physically dominated, and being outwrestled,. Eugene isn't strong, but he can wrestle. I saw the story of the match on monday as HHH going in thinking it was going to be easy, but he was getting beat not because Eugene was stronger, but because he was a smart and skilled wrestler.

I haven't seen the match in a while, but I remember Bret/Bam Bam being near there at the time. However, them giving us that match instead of Bret/Perfect? pfffffffffft

Kurt should have one more match and then call it quits. The only thing we haven't seen is HBK/Angle, so it should be that or, even though we've seen it many times before, Angle/Benoit. Those are the only two guys that could go with Kurt and you could really sell it as his final match.

the actual HHH/Eugene match probably won't top **1/2. The entertianment that I will get out of the match, however, will be high.
