28 days. September 24th-October 22 2000. Winning and dropping the belts from/Edge and Christian.
-
Really? I was under the impression that he had had/was going to have another neck operation and would/could be back in time for Survivor Series.
-
Booker's big chance was WM XIX, and I don't think he's really recovered from that since. If they are pushing towards the voodoo gimmick, I'd have Booker beat Eddie, then taker beat Booker, have Heel Angle return and take the belt off of taker, then have Eddie beat Angle at Survivor Series.
-
I'm assuming the DQ finish was so they didn't have to only have a couple weeks build-up for Eddie's new threat. However, does anyone know if Vengance is still a Smackdown PPV? Isn't 3 PPVs in a row, 2 with only a month of build up, a bit of overkill?
-
I'm about 90% sure he was not.
-
If they were going to do it at all, they'd rpobably jsut stick one of the matches from the best of 7 on the DVD. However, as has been said, Benoit has done much better work that could easily go in its place.
-
Holly had a ME push and failed. Billy Gunn was once Rockabilly. Stick them in the lower midcard and let them put on *-**1/2 matches, but they shouldn't be anywherenear the tag titles, or the ME. Besides Mable, I think Gunn is the only KOTR that failed miserably at getting over.

His post-concussion syndrome is/was quite bad. I don't know if he'll ever be back. At least, WWE hasn't had an update on him in quite a while. The last thing was an article stating how severe his injury was. That was months ago.
-
At least the show has matches now. I still wouldm't be surprised by an abnormally low buyrate though
-
It's not only that, but if memory serves me correctly, didn't maven win the first Tough Enough? That was what, 3 years ago? Shouldn't his character have evolved by now?
-
If JR mentions Maven's name in the same breath as "former Tough Enough winner" I'm assuming any chance of a push is gone.
-
Oh yeah, I figured that much. I'm just hoping for a re-packaged Maven more than anything. I mean, to me, his character hasn't been very interesting up to this point.
-
What would actually be really sweet is if Triple H eliminated Orton, then it come down to Hardy/trips and Orton helped hardyt win, only to have Hardy lose the shot to Kane in the coming weeks. That's getting off topic however. As far as Maven returning, I hope he's re-packaged and he's learned some new moves, otherwise I'll have very little interest in him, just as I did before he was injured.
-
I agree, but seeing Eugene in that spot instead would have been priceless.
-
Well we haven't even seen Tomko work yet. The best thing Maven has going for him is his dropkick. Then again, tomko has only executed one move, and he botched it.
-
Maven was gone? Wow he sure wasn't missed...

And so my media posting days are over along with

That's true, but Zsasz has a point. Wrestling is a niche market, and then Smarks are a niche of a niche market. Not every fan is going to go out and buy every DVD of every match -
If he does, and the only point of Jackie's reign was to get Chavo a match on PPV, then London(or anyone else for that matter) couldn't have taken jackie's place.....why? Inter-gender matches are not that entertaining
-
I'm praying that they announce more matches on the show. If they don't, even if they announce more on Heat, they're looking at a ghastly buyrate.
-
I like Marvin's idea, but come on, you know they gotta give that spot to Eugene...
-
Looking at that list, I could also see Orton eliminating Triple H, perhaps to foreshadow the eventual break up and title feud.
-
I'm close to giving up on WWE forever...

I agree totally. If wrestling were music, and you bought a band's album and hated it, would you spend money to buy the 2nd album? No of course not. Conversely, it's difficult to give up on something that you love. Although I suppose it can be done.
