Okay, he's just spamming now. The Article I posted was from a right leaning blog (not the one linked to buy Nightwing) but the information about the ACLU/NAACP registering voters was garnered from the Daily Times, the major Newspaper on the Lower Eastern Shore. And my point behind the matter is that the ACLU/NAACP doesn't give a rats ass about their rights to be able to register to vote, because if they thought for half a second that the majority of the people being detained at the detention centers would be voting Republican they wouldn't even bother, especially in this area where the Democrats are doing everything they can to win a house seat away from the Republicans who have held the seat for almost the last 20 years. I believe the City Manager of Pocomoke is refered to as Boss Hogg for all the corruption and scandal they've been involved in.

I want to get back to the Marvin everyone loves to hate by asking a question. Why is it ok for people who don't like Sarah Palin to wear shirts calling her the C-word which is a derogatory word towards women? If someone who didn't like Obama wore a shirt calling Obama a ..heh heh.."Teddy Bear", I think they'd probably be arrested and charged with a racial hate crime if they weren't mauled and left for dead by the crowd first. Why the double standard?

So Kendrick can't wrestle Super Crazy due to doctors orders but he can wrestle in a tag match? -
3 weeks and counting.

My QB musical chairs continues this week with Joe Flacco again in a decent matchup vs the Dolphins and picking up Brodie Croyle and having to drop Jon Kitna and Carson Palmer. I think it says a lot for the scoring bias against QBs that I could score 110+ points with Charlie Frye as my QB getting about 8 of them last week. As long as I can keep winning on the basis of my Kicking, Defense, RB and WR, I could care less who I start at QB.

Oh my god I cant believe Im defending Obama's tax plan.. On College: On Mortgages Less than $50k a year is almost bottom 40%. I
-
Its Obama's tax plan! You know, the one touted as being on his website..
-
No, Obama is rolling back Bush's tax cuts to Clinton-era level on the top 1%. This reduces the burden on the middle class who are more likely to pump any dollar they get into the economy. The top is more likely to save it and spend it. People who don't have portfolios and 401Ks spend almost everything they make compared to millionaires. You forgot the rest of his tax plan! all of which the bottom 40% are eligible to get, meaning more money they get back and thus more money the government is giving them from the total income taxes paid.

Anyone find it interesting that the last 4 Expansion teams will have made the World Series in the past 5 years with an opportunity for 3 of them to win the WS in the past 8 if the Rays were to win?
-
This is of course only accounting for Income taxes, not the money witheld for social security. But anyway.. The top 20% of people are responsible for 86% of all income taxes whereas the bottom 40%'s share is -3.8% (which is how they get about 4% of all the income taxes collected back extra). Obama wants to make it so more people pay nothing and more people get more than they paid in back in an effort to be fair and spread the wealth around, which basically means the top 20%'s tax burden is going over 90% easily.

Some people purposely set their self up to have the government take more money out of their paycheck every week than they should so that they get a big refund check every year. This is insanely stupid because essentially they are giving the government an interest free loan so the government can save their money for them, and they would be less likely to save the money as a huge refund check once a year because its perceived as a windfall and more likely to be spent than saved. I have mine set up so that I actually usually owe about $20 a year to the Federal Government but the wonderful state of MD usually sends me back about $100 no matter what I do. Im also deducting 401k, health insurance premium and my healthcare savings pan pretax to lower my income so the government gets less of my money. Its pretty fun!
-
Yep. 4% of all income taxes collected go back to the bottom 40% which is anyone making roughly less than $40k a year, but weighted more towards those making less than $16,000 a year.

I have to pick my battles. This one was easy because I knew I was right.

but sadly Rays/Phillies is gonna be WORST WS RATINGS EVER
-
I was gonna say they wont play tomorrow because of the debate but the NLCS goes tomorrow so that theory is out of the water.
-
I find it hillarious that TB has outscored Boston 20-2 in 2 games in Boston. The day off tomorrow just gives Red Sox Nation an extra day before they all collectively go jump off a cliff. I dont think they would have had a problem with losing a tough series to TB, but to be blown out at home twice is probably just too much for them to take. Rays/Phillies? Fox must be cussing up a storm left and right.

They do make fuel stabilizers that will allow storage up to 6 months. As for the drilling ban, the good ol Democrats have already made plans to call a special session of Congress almost immediately after the Election and one of their top priorities is to reban offshore drilling.

Okay, this is it.. This the most ignorant post ever made on TSM. Just shut your fucking mouth, Marvin. You clearly have no idea about how the government works and you now also clearly have no idea about what it's like to not have an income, so just shut your mouth before your foot gets any further down it. a source you will discredit but I offer anyway I cannot find the updated information from the CBO for 2006, but I did find the same information released by the CBO 1 year ago for the 2005 tax year. CBO If you scroll down to the bottom, the bottom 20% (Less than $15,900) has a -6.5% rate on individual income taxes. The next lowest 20% (less than $37,200) has a -1% rate on individual income taxes. Obviously if its a negative rate, that means they aren't paying income taxes. The Proof is right there. But of course I encourage you to somehow discredit the Congressional Budget Office's data.

First of all, whoever wrote the article ignores that payroll taxes for Social Security and Medicare are income taxes when talking about how so many people pay no taxes. It looks at marginal income tax rates instead of total taxes paid to determine its figures. Second, the article assumes that shifting the tax burden away from the working poor is "welfare" and thus a negative. Third, the WSJ isn't doing anything in this article but repeating numbers supplied by the American Enterprise Institute and the Heritage Foundation. How can you give tax refunds to people who don't pay taxes? The government is basically giving them money because they're poor. If they weren't poor, they would be paying taxes and not getting that money. I think thats the standard fefinition of Welfare.

I dvred it for later.

Could be. Doesn't prove the theory that the stock market drop is a vote of no-confidence in Obama's economic policies, though, if the stock market is moving radically in the opposite direction. Somehow, I'm sure you'll tell me that it is. The stock market going up 11% is a direct result of the money going into the banks, but later in the week (read: tomorrow) when theres no more news of more government bailout money, the stock market will go back down.

Blame Michael Bloomberg for not hiring competent people to write articles. And while Im here.. WSJ takes a look at Obama's tax plan A Family of four only making $40k a year has a effectvive marginal tax rate of almost 40% under Obama's plan but its 0% now, and they're paying the same % as a family making $100k..awesome. And the entire middle class income spectrum has the same, if not higher tax rate. Thats really helping out the middle class there..
