I got a sushi for dummies type book and a sushi mat for christmas out of the blue. I personally love sushi, but being allergic to shellfish limits what I can eat (no shrimp/lobster/crabs) but I do love the tuna and salmon ones, especially Nigiri which are the ones that are just the fish and rice (no nori).

My New Years Resolution for this board is to bring more content to this folder. Not claiming that Im going to save it, but at least help it out. I was for it coming back and I havent really done much as of late. You can definitely look forward to a Review of Coke Blak when I find the stuff. Its supposed to hit shelves in January. I've got a couple other ideas as well..but I'll save that for a surprise..

2 things: 1 - at work, I have to listen to regular radio (not allowed to hook up my XM receiver and probably couldnt get a signal anyway)..I found it laughable that the station we were listening too drop the audio of the word "Phunk" everytime in "Don't Phunk With My Heart"...If you are going to have to do that so many times, I dont know why they'd even bother playing the song anyway..makes no sense...all in the name of "100% family friendly radio".. 2 - the only things my mother wanted for Christmas were the Trace Adkins CD with Hony Tonk Badonkadonk on it and a ticket to his concert here in February. I dont listen to country music, I had never heard the song prior to her playing it on Christmas day, but after doing a google search of the lyrics (and a subsequent search for what the hell badonkadonk means, Im amazed that: A) A near 60 year old woman likes this song..if it didn't clearly reference women's nice asses in the song, I'd swear she probably wouldn't know what Badonkadonk means. B) Theres a country music song with "ebonics" in it..I guess were nearing a point of country/rap music maybe? ugh..The West Texas Rednecks would probably have a seizure at the thought..lol C) Country music stations here would play this song given what its about because "family friendly radio" is huge in this area (hence the Phunk edits)... D) I've not seen the video, but I've heard its..something else.. Im gonna go with anything by Coldplay..Speed of Sound specifically because XM plays the hell out of it..although not as much as of late thankfullly.

Nice to see the Tejada for Manny and Clement rumors fired up after Tejada went off on the Os for not doing anything over the last month since he got mad the first time (I guess Jeff Conine and Jeromy Burnitz dont count..heh..I wouldnt count them either). If anything, I hope they deal him to an NL team, or at least some team not in the AL East. Boston probably has the best offer (epecially if they pay some of those big contracts as well) but it would be horrible to trade Tejada to Boston and allow them to free up money and get Tejada.

There isn't a single damn movie I would pay $10 to go see at a theatre on that list. Sequels..prequels..remakes..more comic book moviess...sequels of movies from 10 years ago that dont need a sequel to start with..video game movies that always suck..movies that should be direct to DVD...more pointless tv show movies (Stop the fucking TV show movies please!)..does anyone actually want to see either 9/11 movie 5 years after the fact, let alone ever? Ugh.. The interesting thing is that I did get $40 worth of gift certificates to the new Regal Stadium Cinema 16 here..so I will go to see a couple movies (40 bucks might get me to 4 movies if I do matinees)..but damn..I didnt think anything could have been worse than 2005, but 2006 is looking like a year full of crap.

as I pointed out in the RAW thread, I bought this DVD with a gift card for $18 on monday, and of the Wrestler Sets I have (Foley/Rock/Hogan/Flair) it ranks up ahead of everything but Flair's. Honestly, the only flaw I have with the set is that The extras are pretty much all matches. Not that I dont want the matches, but the Flair and Hogan DVDs have other stuff like skits and segments which helped set up the matches, especially on the Flair set. I have some minor complaints about the matches included, but honestly whats on there is pretty solid. The only real omission that I can think of is the Bret/Flair match, which was mentioned in the feature. Im lucky enough to have that on a VHS tape so its not so bad for me. Also, I should note, the only time I saw Bret wrestle a match live was 2 days after his concussion at Starcade, vs Chris Benoit at a Thunder taping.

I got a chuckle out of Bossman's "recipe" for Pepper Steak in the cookbook that was put out a while back.

Yay for the rumors of the Os going after 37 year old Jeromy Burnitz to play left field with a 2 year 12 million contract. UGH! Add to the fact that the best starting pitcher left is Jeff Weaver.. Im not sure if I can stand to watch 1 Os game this year. Its going to be terrible.
