And, it couldn't be because the games sucked? Madden 2002 (not 2003 even..) was much better than ESPN 2k3, the last NFL Game from Sega on the Gamecube. I got both the NBA and NFL Sega 2k3 games at TRU for $10, and it was a good thing they cost $10, because they surely weren't worth more than that.

I just got it today at sears for $35. Pretty good deal. Haven't played it yet because Im trying to finish Paper Mario 2 before it needs to go back to blockbuster. If I can't finish it, I'll just use my free game rentals I get every month to rent it again and finish it.

Well, I got Madden 2005 , NBA Live 2005 and NASCAR Chase for the Cup, and Im either getting Tiger Woods or NHL 2005 free, all for the Gamecube. Of course, this is when Madden/Nascar were $50 and NBA was $40, but I hadn't gotten any sports games on the Gamecube yet except for a lame Madden 2002, so it was time to get some new games.

On my tv, I wouldn't mind the bars down the side if they were black, but stupid Samsung had to make them GRAY. You try watching tv with 2 inch gray bars down both sides of the TV, Its very distracting. Other tvs do Black bars down the sides..I don't know why Samsung felt the need to be different and go with gray.

Whether you want to admit it or not, NASCAR has more fans in the United States than any other sport besides the NFL. And with Dale Jr. being one of the most popular drivers, I have a feeling that this movie will do well for ESPN in the ratings. Of course there are people who hate ESPN because, after they lost out on covering NASCAR races to FOX/NBC, they seem to do race highlights less frequently than they do PBA bowling tour highlights. Which is a loss for them since as mentioned theres a ton of NASCAR fans out there that they aren't catering to (Which is why I guess the Speed Channel's ratings have gone up recently..)

You know, my widescreen HD tv is awesome, but now I hate watching non HD Stuff because I get pillarboxes ---boxes on the left and right of the screen. Its more annoying than watching WS DVDs on my old tv, especially because I cant change the color of them (they are GRAY not black!!! Stupid Samsung..) Actually, I've just adjusted to stretching non HD stuff, but its kinda bad with closeups of people's heads because they look like their heads have blown up. HHH looks especially hillarious in the stretched mode. But anyway..

Im surprised EA Sports didn't release the college baskeball game on the GC, but as far as the others go, 989 is strictly PS2 and SEGA stopped supporting the Gamecube sports game wise. So basically, if EA doesn't release a sports game on the Gamecube, you wont play that sport on the Gamecube.

Im surprised that ESPN made the movie and it didn't get made into a theatrically released movie.

I think the Ravens have a shot at winning the division, but its a lot of hoops that have to be jumped through to get to that point, but the Ravens do have the advantage of being able to beat the Steelers on December 26th in Baltimore and getting the tiebreaker (as it stands right now the Ravens are only 2 games back, so over the next 4 weeks all the Ravens would have to do is finish 1 game better than the Steelers (4-0 vs 3-1, 3-1 vs 2-2, etc). Most people are automatically calling the Ravens 2 road games in that stretch losses (Pats,Colts) but I think they have a shot of winning one or the other (probably the Colts). No one is talking about the fact that the Steelers play the Jets and Jags. The Jets probably will have Pennington back and Jacksonville could easily prove to be a tough game as well. If I had to peg the AFC, Id say realistically the Ravens wont win the division, but they will probably end up with the first wild card facing 4th division winner. Pats Steelers Colts Broncos Ravens Chargers And I can tell you Im rooting for the Broncos to finish 4th in that scenario since the Ravens absolutely OWN the Broncos.

Its no coincidence that Viewtiful Joe sold horribly on the PS2. VJ is easily one of the best games on the Gamecube and I can't wait for VJ2. As far as the whole Paper Mario thing goes, I just rented it and played it for almost 6 hours straight. Awesome game.

All I can say about the Ravens is that next Sunday is going to be one hell of a game. The Ravens have somewhat of an edge on Pittsburgh, even though they are down 2 games, in that they beat them once already and if they can close the gap to 1 game between now and December 26th, then if they can beat Pittsburgh they would have the tiebreaker if they stay tied..

Without RAW, Spike TV wont be around long enough to worry about it.
