It's easier to bring them in as heels. Just tell them to go out and act cocky.

WWF 2001, but without the InVasion. Maybe from around King of the Ring. IMO there was a lot of potential there - you had a great heel champ in Austin (some may disagree but the guy was gold), Regal as Commish with his houseboy Tajiri, the breakup of E & C, The Rock's return, Triple H's return, almost everyone on the roster was over (excluding X-Pac of course).

credit PWInsider.com: - I wasn't so sure when I heard that the M-E was going to be a tag match but it doesn't actually sound that bad. Raven, Sabu and Rhino can do the work and JJ will get the pin. However I don't like the fact the NWA title isn't going to be defended (I presume); nor the Tag Titles; nor, it seems, the X Division title. Sacrifice doesn't look very good so far: Raven & Sabu vs Jarrett & Rhino Styles vs Joe - Super X final AMW & The Naturals vs Team Canada Abyss vs Hoyt ??? Killings & Konnan vs Kipp James & Monty Brown ???

The Guy You Like Who Actually Sucks
The C Man replied to Team Angle Pusher's topic in General Wrestling
Can we extend this to tag-teams? If we can then it's got to be Kronik. ^^ Total badass But it's definately got a lot more to do with Clarke than it has Adams. -
From tnawrestling.com: -- That list leaves me pretty underwhelmed, especially compared to the first Super X Cup. This time they're all TNA wrestlers as opposed to last time when they brought in outsiders like Teddy Hart and NOSAWA. By going down that route there's also no chance of seeing anything new - everyone in TNA has seen these guys wrestle, they know most of their spots - and I think it lacks the surprise factor of the first one when someone like Hart would come in and hit a spot that you didn't know was about to happen

Well I think by predicting he'd go against Raven one would assume Rhino would be a heel. And my grammar is better than yours so

I called the Raven/Rhyno feud HERE. I think I deserve some sort of reward.

No one sensed the sarcasm in my post then?

Booker and Angle had some good matches for the WCW title during the inVasion angle.

And it's going to lead into a huge feud between Triple H and CM Punk. Triple H will be in the ring doing one of those long-winded speeches, bragging about being on a great show like Punk'd; the lights go out, when they come back on CM Punk is in the ring beating on Triple H. He even hits the Pepsi Plunge (which JR claims is a top-rope Pedigree, "That's his move"). Punk then takes the mic and says "My name is CM Punk. Triple H, you just got Punk'd...again." All that leads to an epic feud between the two where Triple H 'makes' Punk like he has done numerous times before for other future stars, because Triple H sees a lot of himself in Punk.

I hadn't heard anything about that. Anyone else?

Directions For Seemingly Directionalless Wrestlers
The C Man replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
I like that, he could be like the new APA. Hell, have him buy the old APA office from JBL. -
They need to have Teddy Hart again, he really stood out for me. Don't know about the Japanese guy - obviously Lyger would be great - but didn't Jody Fleisch start wrestling again. He'd be perfect, the best spot-monkey in Britain.

I call a Raven/Rhyno feud.

Direction for Hassan's Character on SmackDown
The C Man replied to The Mandarin's topic in The WWE Folder
Firstly, that was Backlash. Not one of the 'big 4'. And secondly Brock was far better than Batista, and Cena was far better than Hassan. -

You're all scaring me with your predictions of Hassan/Batista at Summerslam. I don't like train-wrecks. -
I think half the reason Holly's got pops as big as he does is because the people actually recognise him because he's been around so long. They don't know who someone like Rene Dupree is but they know Holly becuase they've had over 10 years to learn his name.

Imagine the roster Paul E's going to have when his contract expires and he doesn't re-sign.

I think the main thing with the 'terrorists' deal is that it's one of those angles that makes you embarrassed to watch wrestling. While not on the same scale as Patterson/Brisco - Evening Gown match, it's still something you wouldn't want to show anyone who doesn't watch wrestling.

John Cena: Cypress Hill - Rap Superstar

I remember Triple H made Hardcore Holly look like a star once on Heat. 2000 I think it was.

Hopefully it still ends up out-drawing Vengeance.

WWF Mayhem in Manchester - April 4th 1998 Jeff Jarrett defeated Brakkus via submission. Strap Match: The Godwinns (Henry and Phinneus) defeated The Disciples of Apocalypse ( Skull and Eight Ball). Bradshaw pinned Marc Mero. Ken Shamrock and Owen Hart defeated Rocky Maivia and D-Lo Brown when Shamrock forced Brown to submit. Cactus Jack defeated Goldust by Disqualification. World Tag Team Title Match: Legion of Doom 2000 defeated The New Age Outlaws by Disqualification. The New Age Outlaws retain the tag team titles. World Heavyweight Title Match: Steve Austin pinned Hunter Hearst Helmsley to retain the title. The Undertaker (in street clothes) pinned Kane. -- First and only one. And to think we drove six hours for that.

Ok, I think we've established the Flair angle is gold. I don't know if it's been done before, but what about a ring-rat/fan turned stalker angle. Eventually you can have the Ring-Rat bring in her own wrestler to feud with the wrestler. I've always wondered whether the Rocky film storyline could be pulled off. It would be extremely hard to do though. You'd need the perfect wrestler to play the Rocky role - I don't think he'd need to be a total unknown but certainly someone who wasn't pushed. Also there's the rest of the Rocky film storylines as well - the retired former champion managing the man who defeated him (Wrestler A); the monster taking out the retired wrestler, then being avenged by Wrestler A; Wrestler A himself retiring and training a wrestler, only to be turned on, but then defeating his protege (although that one wouldn't go over well in wrestling circles).

Regarding the Shelton/Haas situation I like the idea of them winning the tag titles together but, since we're all hot for ECW, why not rehash the Storm/Candido angle of having a singles match against each other after defending the tag titles. It's been done before but it's not exactly well-known.
