At least he was in position to have INTs. He must be doing something right.
-
Well he's a starter because he's the best they have. Apparently Stoops doesn't think he's a suckbag and he was 2nd team all Big 12.
-
Oklahoma starting cornerback Chijioke Onyenegecha was suspended for the Holiday Bowl. Thats just about the worst spot to lose a defensive player for the Sooners since Oregon rarely has fewer than 3 receivers on the field at a time and they're all pretty good.
-
Its not SAR's fault for never having a winning season. Look where he played: Memphis/Vancouver, Atlanta, and Portland. He never had a chance to play on a good team.
-
Dan Hawkins has done quite a lot with very little talent at BSU. If he can pull some decent recruits Colorado should win at least 7 games every year.
-
Steve Nash Allen Iverson Jason Kidd Chauncey Billups Gilbert Arenas Tony Paker Baron Davis Tony Paker Stephon Marbury Mike Bibby Chris Paul TJ Ford I would say he's about 8-11th best point guard.
-
Looks like Dan Hawkins wants to be able to recruit players and have them actually come to his school.

Callisto was the leader of the Morlocks.

I doubt anyone with a proven young guy would do it.
-
Also Reggie Bush is the most marketable player to come into the NFL since Vick. He's not even done playing college ball and he is a worldwide celeb. Every team wants this guy to be the face of their franchise.
-
It doesn't mean he's better than Barry. It means a guy with this type of ability is very rare. Mike Vick is in this category as far as physical skill go but that doesn't make him better than Marino, Elway, etc.
-
Thats the way he made it look. I consider Sanders the best RB of all time and he is at least top 4 in everyones opinion so it didnt make sense to me either.
-
It was also Dunleavy who created hack a Shaq when he coached in Portland.
-
Have you seen Reggie Bush play? Not watch highlights, but watch a whole game? He plays at a whole different speed than the rest of the country. Everytime he touches the ball he is a threat to score. He shreds defenses like no one else (8.9 yards per carry). I would be crazy over him if I was an NFL analyst. He still will need to prove he can withstand the punishment of the NFL but he does some of the most amazing things ever seen on a football field.

Kent isn't a very polished receiver (hes only been on the team for 6 months) but he has Olympic class speed on top of being 6-5 and about a 40 inch vertical. Oregon probably doesn't plan on running since theyve only had a 100 yard rusher twice this season.

I saw Narnia last night and I thought it was really good. I read the books too long ago to remember anything much beyond the first one but I do remember liking them. My friend couldn't get over the scence where he felt Tumnus date raped Emily in his house. That was pretty much all he focused on for the whole movie I swear "Cars" has also had previews out for over a year.

I actually didn't know how much Stoops was involved with the defense. With the way you talk about the OU secondary one would think they're coached by a pack of retarded monkeys. Porter are you trying to say Stoops isnt a good coach? I hope not.
-
But how good is their defensive staff? There seem to be some issues since Mike left. Bellotti and Crowton on the other hand are one of the best offensive duos in the country.
-
Oregon may not need to stop Petersen to win. Against Cal they gave up over 200 yards rushing and still won (barely, and in OT though). Unless Dixon lights it up through the air it should be a close game that depends heavily on Bomar's mistakes. Of course Belotti and Crowton will have had a month to gameplan and I'm sure the offense will be rolling.
-
I left a few key players on the bench a few days as well. Had they played I probably would've won 7-1 instead of losing 2-5.
-
I'm glad to see that Pat Riley is getting back into coaching. I always thought he was among the top guys in the NBA. Too bad for SVG because he did a great job his rookie season. He'll end up coaching somewhere very soon I would imagine.
-
Awards certainly dont mean shit when 5-6 Oregon State walked off with two of them. Hass and Serna certainly deserved them but I wonder how often a losing team has won multiple awards.
-
If Peytons only knock for MVP is not winning a big game what about the other guys? Palmer, Alexander, LT, and Tiki havent won any big games.
-
I dropped Larry Johnson the week before he exploded.

OSU's defense is really good but don't overlook USC's defense. It is full of all americans and has dismantled a few top offenses this season (Oregon, UCLA, Cal),
