Jackson's most recent tatoo. "With a church window as the background, two praying hands are inked on his sternum - and they're holding a gun. Yes, this is the same Stephen Jackson who will miss the Warriors' first seven games under NBA suspension for pleading guilty to a felony charge of criminal recklessness after firing an awfully similar gun into the air at an Indianapolis strip club. "I pray I never have to use it again," Jackson said in explanation. Jackson's incredible audacity under the tattoo needle is stunning even to his teammates, who seem to be in a frantic competition to cover their entire bodies in ink. "I can't believe that one," said Al Harrington, who redecorated his arms and back. "I thought I was crazy.""

Well if everyone stays healthy that looks like a real good team. Yao and JO are both 20-10 guys and maybe Aldridge will be too.

Helluva game in Eugene. The crowd was very loud but it could've been louder. Everyone started drinking around 6 am and there was a lack of energy by game time. Deshaun Jackson is a difference maker. The Ducks made way too many mental mistakes. Worst play I've ever seen was when both kick returners ran into each other and Cal recovered the ball. Before the game I thought Cal had the shittiest, most boring, nerdy fans in... the country maybe. I stand by that judgment. As I was immaturely heckling them the best comebacks they could come back with were "Can you even spell stadium?" (I was talking shit about shitty memorial stadium) and another one responded "Who has yellow as a color?" Also the Cal Bear looks like a retarded sloth. But shit, they won and I'm just ranting. Have fun the rest of the way with your rugby shirts, khakis and golf claps. Herbstreit's top 5: USC or LSU #1, I don't remember, Cal #3, tOSU #4 and Oregon #5. I like Kirk. There is a realistic chance of them moving up since so many teams lost.

I played through a co-op campaign on normal last night and it was easy as shit. I started another one on legendary and it really wasn't that difficult at all. 1 and 2 were much harder. There used to be places in some levels where I would get bogged down for ages but Halo 3 has been kind of a cakewalk through the first half on legendary. The story was fine I guess but the game was really short, 6 hours on normal difficulty. The level design was pretty cool, much less repetitive than Halo 1. I like the new weapons , especially that axe, and I'm loving having the assault rifle back and it's probably my #1 or 2 weapon. I noticed they reduced the magazine capacity of the shotgun by a few rounds though. I'll probably be taking it online tonight. I ended up getting 45 minutes of sleep last night because I started it so late.

Next Saturday we got Oregon Vs. Cal in what should be an offensive explosion. The word around here is that College Gameday is going to be in Eugene.

I doubt IK is gonna be back. Also he never checked his team.

I saw that car in front of a hotel in Downtown Portland the other day and I was wondering who the hell it belonged to. I should have keyed it.

In an Oregonian article by Blazers beat writer Jason quick he highlights some of the trades GM Kevin Pritchard was offered for the #1 pick: -An eastern conference team offered a 5 time all star and a lottery pick (Celtics, Paul Pierce) -A division rival offered a surefire hall of famer and a promising rookie (Minny, KG and Foye perhaps??) -Another Western conference "power" offered a first ballot hall of famer Original Article Summary of article Just some interesting tidbits.

Well I was debating whether to get Ducks football season tickets or Blazers season tickets and now it's definitely Blazers. I can't believe that actually happened. I skipped class to watch the Lottery and it was so fucking worth it. I didn't actually see the final envelope get opened because my roomates and I were outside chanting Greg Oden's name. People were in love with D Miles but I think everyone here officially wishes he would die. The fans are sick of him, the media HATES him, hopefully management will just cut their losses. It does sound like the players still like him though. 21 wins 2 years ago, 32 this year. With a healthy Zbo and Roy + Oden and an improved Aldridge and Jack who knows. Playoffs? Soon, very soon.

In Oregon's defense they lost 5 of those 6 on the road, 1 without Aaron Brooks, and 4 against 4 Tournament teams.

Va Tech in in the final 4?

I made two brackets this year. One was my initial reactions to the seedings and the other one I kept revising up until tip off. In the first one I'm perfect but the second one I picked Stanford (wtf?) and Duke. Unfortunately I submitted the second one to the TSM pool.

USC did beat Oregon in both head to head matchups this year but if the Ducks keep shooting like they have been its going to be a helluva game.
