Nice to see Joey Harrington getting the start even if its because of injury. I didn't get to see the game but did anyone see how he looked? 2 interceptions can't be good but he passed for a solid amount of yards.

The game of the week has to be the battle of unbeatens in the Pac 8 with UCLA taking on the top ranked Oregon Ducks.

Washington State is sitting at 4-2 with losses to Auburn and USC while UW has only lost to USC and Oklahoma. And since UW beat UCLA I would say they are better than UCLA, who is still a good team. USC is still the best team in the conference until someone beats them but Cal is definitely on their level now. Oregon is a notch below both but could rebound and still upset USC the way they've been playing. I'm pretty sure that the Pac 10 will get two teams in the BCS this year at least. The SEC is still the best conference but it can realistically be said that the Pac 10 is second.

I'm 4-2 in the head to head games. All I need are for Mizzou or Wazzu to pull one out and I'm 6-0. Missouri currently up 10-0 in the 2nd and WSU is up 3-0.

I think Florida may have made a big enough statement today to move up to #2. USC certainly didn't do anything to gain some votes.

Oregon comes in averaging 497 yards per game, 4th in Div. I, sixth in scoring at 40.3. Cal is no .9 with 452.2 and no.8 with 38.4. Both teams are loaded with offensive talent so it probably comes down to who makes the most mistakes and the defense. I'm still not sold on Nate Longshore being reliable enough so whether or not he turns the ball over could determine a lot about this game. Oregon comes in leading the Pac 10 in passing defense, allowing 147 yds per game. They have allowed 100 yard rushers in 3 games though, but all 3 were wins. Last year against Cal they gave up around 195 yds to Marshawn Lynch and still pulled it out. Dennis Dixon continues to impress and his O-line has allowed only 1 sack this season. Im picking Oregon 38 California 28 and Longshore with a pair of INTs.

Keep ranking Portland last. You'll see. They'll all see... I'm not saying they'll make the playoffs or anything, but there will be an improvement. Of course the better they play, the less Greg Oden there is in their future.

If Oregon doesn't win 20+ games this year Ernie Kent is gone. They have too much talent to win only 14 games again. Also Ernie scheduled the most cupcake out of conference schedule EVER. The only real team they play is Georgetown.

I believe I went 10-4 this week and it looks like i'll sweep my matchup with ASU.

Arizon is that team in the Pac 10 thats supposed to be on their way up but I think its Washington. Ty Willingham has those guys coming into every game believing they can win. With a victory tonight they become 4-1 and still have games with Oregon State and Stanford, both at home. Pick up one more win against WSU or ASU and things are looking up for the Huskies.

Georgia doesn't look very good. I really don't like watching SEC football because of games like this. 7-3 with the 4th coming up just doesn't do it for me.
