Wu Tang is For the Children

This post has nothing to do with the late Russell Jones. It would be much better if it was though. To Czech: I'm disappointed that you haven't said anything insulting about me the the Hardcore Discussion, though seeing you sanity slowly melt away is amusing. I guess you haven't said much about me because I rarely post in Hardcore Discussion, and because I'm a non-confrontational pussy. Anyways, got the original novel version of "Carnosaur" in the mail. The book's much better than the movie, though the movie remains a guilty pleasure of mine.

    Spring 2006 Horror Movie Schedule

I've seen The Eye, and I didn't like it. It had so much potential, but flushed all down the toilet. That out of the way, there are Asian Horror movies that I do like. One in particular is Uzumaki, as well as Suicide Circle, Audition, and several others. Oh, by the way, there's a new movie that's been added. The movie is called Mortuary, and is directed by Tobe Hooper. It debuts on Sci-Fi on March 25th, with a DVD release date from Lions Gate set for April. Unfortunately, from what I've heard, it's not very good.

The One and Only Raw Thread for February 27th, 2006

Alternate title for tonights show: "Raw os Bisexual Porn" and "No Pants in Hell." Anyways, yet another horrible Raw The good -Flair vs. Carlito was allright. Plus, I marked out at Flair winning -The crowd was awesome. -Mickie James. I'm really enjoying her more each week. The bad -The final segment. What is the point of all of this? It was one of the worst things on Raw in quite a while. Plus, did we really need to see constant shots of Shawn's face being buried in Vince's ass? -The HHH/Cena segment. This was great only for the fact that it was such a trainwreck. Plus, the crowd shit all over it. -Foley vs. Edge. Honestly Mick, just stick with being an author, and stay away. -Candice. -Coach. I really can't stand listening to this guy. -CANDICE IN PLAYBOY!!!! OMG!!!! Vince must think every wrestling fan on Earth is a virgin. The rest was just sort of "meh."

Only that "Drawn Together" is more entertaining than this. Also, you knew Master's was going to be on this show tonihht, one way or another.

Finally, someone who hates talk radio as much as I do. Every time I hear a talk radio dj/morning zoo personality, I'm reminded of the rant David Cross did about them.

Here's Vince to hype "Saturday Night's Main Event", and to try (and fail) to make this interesting. That was great, simply for the train wreck factor.

Man, the crowd is cheering HHH, and booing Cena.

The One and Only Raw Thread for February 27th, 2006

HHH is getting a more positive response than Cena. That really says something.

Now for your pointless interview segment. To make matters worse, Coach is here. Man, the crowd is ripping Cena apart. I love it.

Because Vince must like him. Coach is the MadTV cast member of wrestling announcers: He tries way too hard, and is really annoying.

I'm going with HBK/Vince-mainly because it's so painful to watch, and has brought forth the return of the "kiss my ass" club.

    Spring 2006 Horror Movie Schedule

The thing about Ringu is that when it came out, horror fans were talking about how it was the best horror movies in ages. When I finally saw it, I just remember saying to myself "that was it?" I think one of the reasons it got so much hype (other than it's success in it's native Japan) was because it wasn't from Hollywood, and if there is anything I've learned about horror fans today, is that you are not allowed like any movie from Hollywood that comes out these days. That's why I tend to ignore a lot of today's horror fans: because most of them are elitist snobs. I'll most likely do a longer rant about this in my smartmarks blog in the future.
