    Campaign 2008

But he's a major player in the Democratic Party. What he's done reflects poorly on them, and on Obama's chances. Do we need to spell it out for you?

Jesus Christ...granted, it's The Enquirer, but still, Jesus Christ.

Finally, a picture that deserves to be seen again

    OMG! They killed Chef!

    Thanks for the stunning observation!

    Weekend Box Office Report

I love that "The Thing" is on that list (albeit at #174.) I fucking love that movie.

To be fair to McCain (who I'm no fan of) 1.) He's crippled too, and 2.) Isn't there a high divorce rate among war vets?

    Venture Bros. Season 3

As we all know, the major theme of the show is human failure. The thing is, I think that a major theme this season is Rusty starting to regret his failure. We all remember earlier this season when he said I think-and maybe I'm just over analyzing, that he's starting to grow up-albeit just a little.

    Venture Bros. Season 3

Rusty seems to really have a thing for shitty cocktails. Really, this is one of the best written things on tv right now. It really makes you look forward to the season finale, and not many shows do that IMO.

    OMG! They killed Chef!

Jesus, this is turning out to be a shitty weekend.

    Pictures I Like

  11. Ray Sager's performance in "The Wizard of Gore" may be the best bad performance ever. Also, the upcoming remake doesn't look too bad (Crispin Glover as Montag? Jeffrey Combs as a circus geek? I'm so there.)

I really wish somebody had told me Steve Moore of Zombi had a solo album out.
  14. Well, here's what happened this week in case you've been living under a rock -John Edwards admitted to an affair with a woman while his wife has cancer. Class act. I'm sure Newt thinks he's an amatuer though. That reminds me: what is it with politicians and ugly chicks? Why can't they take a page out of Kennedy's book and nail a hot chick? You guys are fucking politicians, you can get better pussy. -Somebody was stabbed, killed, and decapitated on a bus in Manitoba. Westboro Baptist Church is there to tell people they are going to hell (really, I'm just apathetic towards these guys now. I've heard so much from them or about them that they are just old news), and or pals at PETA are behaving in the dignified way expected by running an add saying the guy's death is nowhere near as bad as killing an animal. Stay classy PETA. -John McCain keeps running negative adds, alienating old fans in a way that Bill Clinton alienated old fans this year. -Brett Farve got traded to the Jets-oh go away Brett. Seriously, go away, quit whining, quit crying, and quit being a little bitch. And for God's sake, it wouldn't kill you to shave more often. This has given ESPN even more reasons to suck as well, as if it weren't already possible. -"Pineapple Express" is pretty awesome, though it didn't beat "The Dark Knight." Also, good to see Rosie Perez still getting work. -R.I.P. Bernie Mac. You were the best thing about the "Ocean's" movies, and Milky is right when he says your role as "Officer Self-Hatred" in "Don't Be A Menace" is great. -Finally:

    Pineapple Express

I loved it. Almost as funny as "Superbad." The Godspeed! You Black Emperor reference cracked me up to no end. Also, the best song on "Walk Hard" is "(Mamma) You Gotta Love Your Negro Man."

    Manitoba Greyhound Bus Murder

Uh. Look I'm all for treating animals well, and everything. But that's ridiculous. And pretty insulting to the guy's family. Have PETA ever just came out and said 'Yes, we care about animals way more than humans'? I've heard an interview with a PETA member who said if they had a chance between saving a human baby and a dog, they'd save the dog.

I was going to post that. Also, he's 100% correct.

    Manitoba Greyhound Bus Murder

Am I the only guy who's tired of Westboro guys? I mean, it's not really that shocking that they are doing this since they do it all the time, and while bad, it's also incredibly predictable and therefore hard to get mad about.
  19. Cheap Trick-"Born To Raise Hell" I remember it from the animated movie "Rock & Rule" (which I love), so why not. Plus, it's Cheap Trick.
  20. Brian De Palma's "Sisters" is a really underrated movie.

2008 movies to open with a PSA under $1,000

"Rogue" is a good movie with some suspenseful moments, but it doesn't really live up to it's full potential, which is a shame. Worth a rental, but not a purchase. "Postal" I haven't seen, and will probably rent. "Frontier(s)" is derivative as hell, and Jingus should avoid it, but it's a good pastiche for what it is. Some awesome death scenes too.

Case in point I don't know what's funnier: the facial expression he makes in the 0:35 mark, or him trying (and failing) to get a word in.
  24. It's a remake of [rec] which was a really awesome movie. By the way, if you haven't seen the Quarantine trailer yet, avoid it. It gives away the ending. Ok. I just saw a trailer for [rec] and it looks infinitely better than Quarantine. Thanks for posting that! [REC] is fucking awesome. Next to "Inside", it's my favorite horror movie of the year.
