For those who like comedy, here are the lyrics to "You Saved Me" by R.Kelly To Quote Norm McDonald, "Happy Birthday Jesus. Hope you like crap!"

Homoerotic quote of the year: "My BUTT's hungry" -
How does it go?

Sure to piss off Bush fans, but who cares, it's the best musical quote of the Year.

First review of the Chyna/X-Pac sex tape

Believe me, not only are there people sick enough to jack off to this, but there are people who jack off to shit much worse than this. That out of the way, I think that if Waltman does an autobiography, it should by called "How I Fucked and Trannsexual Ape" -
Every year, a song, or more than one song, has something you find yourself saying or singing to yourself. What are this years songs that had you do this

What will Bischoff say next week? He will come up to either Edge or Benoit, and ask them "What do You wanna do with your life" Then, the voice of Dee Snider will emit from either Edge or Benoits mouth, and shout "I WANNA ROCK!" as out of nowhere, Twisted Siter shows up. Other than that, I have no clue.

Worst Songs of the Year-lovecraft231 edition "Invincible" by Clay Aiken-Sure, there are bad songs, but this one is by far the worst. A song so bad, I wanted him to be castrated and raped. Plus, it's creepy as hell, and reminds me of the rape scene from "Hollow Man". And damn him for reminding me of that shitty movie. "Ass like That" by Eminem-Sure, "Just Lose It" was bad, but damnit, I wanted to shoot him in the fucking face after hearing this. Plus, it rips on Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, proving that he has run out of things to say, and that he has now truly become the most pathetic bully on earth. Britney Spears "My Perrogitive"-Holy shit. It's a cover song, and an absolutely dreadful one at that. And to think, "Toxic" was my guilty pleasure of the year. Nickleback "Figured You Out"-Now that Creed have broken up, I guess Nickleback and Saliva are fighting to see whose worse, and Nickleback is winning. Plus, Chad Kroeger has some serious issues he needs to work out. Saliva "Survival of the Sickest"-If these guys are promising a rock and roll revolution, then they could possibly kill rock as we know it. Story of the Year "Anthem of Our Dying Days"-Also known as "Generic Emo Song Title #123,412". I can just see the pathetic teen kids singing this like so much vomit. R.Kelly-"You Saved Me"-Actually, this song is a guilty pleasure, just because it's so bad, it's hilarious. When he croons about a doctor calling to tell someone that they have cancer, it's already an instant classic in shitty music. I actually feel bad for Jesus and God, because so many musicians feel the need to write awful songs in their name. Neptunes "Hey Mister"-Sure, it's funky, and has a kick ass beat, but thenm the singing and lyrics come up, and well, after that, the song is doomed. "Her ass is a spaceship that I'd like to ride" may be the worst piece of lyricism next to R.Kelly's "You Saved Me" and Nickleback's "Figured You Out" of the year.

Decent Raw last night. I loved the bit where Jericho impersonated Shatner, as well as the women's match. I was wondering though...Could heel Maven work out? I think I actually like him more as a heel then as a face.

I'm doing alot of posing on the music boards lately, so hey, here's another new one Every year, you hear a song, or at least songs, that make you want to puke blod and shit out your innards. Post what you think this years worst songs are here

Yea, Incandenza has a good point about "Fly or Die" I remember hearing the first single from the album, and liking it, until Pharell started singing. It's not that he has a bad voice, but the lyrics were definately...lacking. Or, in other words, sucked ass.

While I liked "Saw", it's definately one of those love it/hate it movies. Kind of like "Cabin Fever", which I also liked.

My picks U2 "How to Dimantle an Atomic Bomb" I didn't like "All that You Can Leave Behind", and I was hoping for a better album. Didn't get it, unfortunately. Eminem, "Encore" Heard this in a friends car. I normally don't like him, but this stufdf is damn near unbareable. When he does a dis at Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, you officially know that Mr. Mathers is out of ideas. U.N.K.L.E. "Never Never Land" I loved the album "Psyence Fiction". How can an album with Josh Homme, Brian Eno, Robert del Naja of Massive Attack, and Ian Brown be so disappointing? Eagles of Death Metal "Peace Love Death Metal" Speaking of Josh Home...Man, and I had high hopes for this one. Oh, and Yes, I knew it wasn't death metal. Skinny Puppy "The Greater Right o the Wrong" You know, I'm a huge Skinny Puppy fan, but damnit, this album really let me down.

Every year, albums come out that disappoint you. Granted, the're not the worst albums of the year, but you were hoping for more. Post this year's disappointing albums here.

IMO, the problem with Dreamworks animated movies, is that they try too hard to appeal to both audiences, and end up feeling a bit hollow compared to say, a Pixar or Miyazaki film. Granted, I loved Puss in Boots, but he was really thr only good thing about the whole movie.
-
"The Grudge" I remember walking out of the thheatre, thinking "There is NO way this movie was produced by the director of the "Evil Dead" and "Spider Man" movies!" "Open Water" For all of the hype it got being "Scary as hell", it sure didn't scare me. Just more proof that Rolling Stone sucks ass (They really loved it)

A unofficial sequal to the "Best Ignored Movies" thread, which was the most disappointing (i.e. not worst, but most disappointing) film of the year for you?
-
"Time of the Wolf" an Apocalyptic horror/drama without zombies, but is still great. It was released in theatres here, but went unnoticed and underappreciated, much like 2002's "Trouble Everyday" and 2003's "In My Skin" and "Demonlover" "Calvarie" French Horror film with a male Cabaret singer who finds himself trapped in an motel, as well as in a village with hillbillies that make the one's from "Deliverence" look like teletubbies. Hopefully will come to the U.S. in 2005. "Dead End" Great, "Twilight Zone" like film with a family that makes a wrong turn on the road.

Well, Stoner Metal, while loud, and with screeching or growling vocalists, is usually very slow. I'm talking molasses rolling down a hill slow. I like that slowness, it adds a great atmosphere.
-
Good point. I don't even think they consider themselves a metal band oxymoron. don't fall into one of these Boston punk is different than skate punk things. you are a metal head if you like stoner metal. metal is metal, biznitch.
-
Every year, there is a movie, or more than one movie, that comes out, but seemingly ignored not only by crowds, but also by critics. So, what would be your picks for best ignored film, or films, of the year.
-
Well, I started the thread, and I'm not a metal head. I know, I included SUNN0))), but I have a thing for stoner metal, and it's still a good album.

My Picks Headset "Space Settings" Jimmy Tamborello(Postal Service) and Allen Avanessian(Plug Research) do a Hip Hop album. They don't rap, but the guest MC's do. Oh, and the end result is pretty satisfying. Coil "Black Antlers" A CD-R limited release, but possibly the last piece of original Coil material we're going to get, sadly. Ming and FS "Back to One" Great stuff from the Turntabalist duo SUNN0))) "White 2" An improvement over the dissapointing "White 1". Jack Dangers "Loudness Clarifies/Electronic Music from Tapelab" Great 2 disc set. Disc 1 is a more dance orinated, while disc 2 features some great musique concrete experiments. The Orb "Bicycles and Tricycles" Ok, so it's not "UFOrb", "Orbs Adventures into the Ultraworld", or even "Orblivian", but it's an major improvement over "Cydonia" Space Machine, "3" Suprisingly not so noisy psychedelic syth side project from Japanese Noise god Maso Yamazaki (Masonna)

Ah, "The Incredibles" owns all of them. Best movie of the year, and my current obsession.
