Cardinals Held Without Field Goal for 9 Minutes First UNC and now Little Brother? I love it. I'm not predicting doom and gloom like some U of L fans are, but Pitino needs to learn to coach for the whole season, not just December.

Yes. There are two types. 1) The cassette adapter with the 1/8 inch plug that goes in the headphone jack. 2) A low power radio transmitter that allows you to listen on a radio frequency. I use the cassette adapter.

Hey now. They've not sunk to Bill Curry circa 1994 levels........yet.

All the freshmen and Sparks looked good today. The whole team looked good today. Granted it was only Coppin State, but UK tends to sturggle no matter who they're playing early in the season. It is gonna be a good year.

That's beautiful, man. It makes me feel even better about December 4th.

I think he was betting on Andy not pointing the finger at him, which ended up happening. If you can have somebody on your side that you know isn't going to get fired, then bring them. It seemed like they had a little deal going on anyway. In theory bringing him in was a good idea; not so much in practice.

Holtz to retire after season The deal seems to be getting closer. From what I heard on SportsTalk 84, the deal with Spurrier and Flordia fell apart when Florida said Spurrier would have to interview with all the other coaches they were considering. I can't say that I blame Spurrier for getting pissy at that. Its like, "You want my resume? Look in your trophy case."
-
Yes he did, and it was beautiful, though Trump thinks Andy needs to step up (again). I think deep down, Trump is pulling for Andy not to fuck up. So do we get another reshuffling next week? I didn't watch the first season so I'm not sure how this goes.

This seems to be the way they are going with the next season. You get to vote for who you want on what team. I don't think they have ever mixed shows and sexes, so it could be a much more interesting season. Even though the men have won every competition but one, it is still more interesting than this season's Real World.

Pretty blah episode last night. The only moderately interesting part was Angela's elimination speech where she called the girls backstabbing bitches. Next week looks like a good episode because the girls alliances start calling each other out.

Millwood, KY: More of a community than a town. It is close to where I'm from and for 21 years that I can remember, its claim to fame was a Wood Preserve Plant. Then two years ago they got a chiropractor's office and a gas station/Hometown Pizza. Now they have some type of Honky Tonk bar that isn't actually a bar because it is located in a dry county. Ricky Van Shelton (who was evidently popular at some point. I think I remember hearing his name years and years ago) was playing there Friday night when I was visiting my hometown. Millwood is moving up in the world.

Yay. You've got thousands of songs at your disposal. Plus it eliminates dragging CDs everywhere you go. I've gotten so use to mine I don't think I could go back to swapping CDs in and out of my changer.

Kelly absolutely treats Andy like shit, as in he's being a dick just because. Wes seems more like he's playing the game, but at least (seems) to respect Andy. Chris did hire somebody and still got killed. I'm not even sure that he hired her. I think she just came along.

iTunes has it for $7.92, which is about half of Best Buy's price. I thought this was a pretty average episode until toward the end where Seth and Summer had their moments together. I guess I just like Seth chasing and pining after her. I'm interested in the new girl because I can't stand Ryan and Marissa together.

I rented Star Wars: Battlefront last night and played for hours. It was fun once I got the hang of the controls.

Location: The South (mainly Tennessee) The Loft (website) is a great bluesy-southern rock-almost jam-rock band. They put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen (thanks mainly to lead singer John Banzhoff). The whole band is just obscenely talented. Location: Kentucky, Tennessee Floord (website) is your basic southern rock band. They just put out an EP and are currently recording their second full album.

The state of Kentucky would like to see anything but Rich Brooks at this point. But we're in it for the long haul, as Mitch Barnhartt (or however you spell his name) has said that Brooks will be around for at least one more season. On the one hand I agree, as it takes more than two seasons on probation to fix a program. Then on the other hand losing to Ohio, Miss. State and most likely Vanderbilt sucks. During the Mumme/Couch era (oh how the once mighty have fallen) Kentucky fans cared. Football wasn’t just something for us to bitch about until basketball started. Now granted it wasn't at the level of basketball, but it was actually a challenge to get seats. In the highly unlikely event that Spurrier comes to Lexington, I bet we would care again.

Does Louisville ever play on the weekends? What is this, like their 4th weeknight game in a row?
-
I do, too.

I agree with the girl's choice tonight. I'm kinda surprised that Veronica went along with it. But the girls voted the way they should have and it pissed them off, which was amusing. And yes, Ibis needs to stay til the very end.

Jon was at the very first reunion show. He was also on Road Rules All Stars and Battle of the Seasons. I don't know what they have planned for Naughty & Nice. It seems like an interesting concept because (or so it appears) you don't know who will be on your team. Could make for an interesting competition.
-
I don't remember, but I most likley got some play later that night or the next morning. But even that doesn't change the fact that I had to sit through John Mayer's set.

I did get a laugh out of the contestants talking about how great the champagne and hors' douves were, even though it was a bunch of cheap stuff. I’ll probably watch if there is nothing better on.
