That is ridiculous. Sixty-four aces between them. Roddick was really hit or miss last night. You can't expect to win when you only covert 3 of 15 break opportunities. Henman shouldn't be a problem for Federer. I think that will be straight sets for Federer. After watching Johansson last night, Hewitt may be in for a surprise. He may finally drop a set this tournament. But I'll agree with your pick for the finals. It would be hard to pick anything but Federer/Hewitt at this point.

Federer beats Agassi in five; (6-3), (2-6), (7-5), (3-6), (6-3). Weather kept this match from being as good as it could have been. The wind wrecked havoc on their tosses and shots. Still though, it took Federer five sets to put Agassi away. He is not going to have his way with whomever is in the finals, be that Roddick or Hewitt.

The thrid set of Agassi/Federer was amazing. They stayed on serve until Agassi's last service game where Federer broke him. Haas is looking very good, but I don't think he'll be able to get past Hewitt. I would be surprised to see Haas take a set. I believe I heard the announcers say that Henman will get two days off because of the play schedule. He can use the rest because he's already had 3 five set matches.

I know I've made bigger stinks over bad calls in my time. Davenport has already cruised to a victory. Her match lasted somewhere around 45 minutes. Editied to say that Federer leads Agassi 2 sets to one. It is raining at Flushing Meadows and play has been suspended with the score at deuce in the first game of the fourth set.

You have got to be kidding. Those are some of the stupidest shirts I have ever seen.

Melanie is a newer version of Brynn from LV season, which was hands down the worst of the seasons I've seen. I didn't watch the first four seasons or Paris. That in mind, the best I've seen are: 1. Miami - interesting people and it was fun watching them fuck up trying to start a business. MTV put them in WAY over their heads on that one. 2. Seattle - Lindsay was hot and Dave provided some of the most unintentionally hilarious material when he was dating the show's casting director ("This is more real than anything you fucking have"). 3. Boston 4. San Diego - Chock full of intentional and unintentional hilarity, even if the first half of the season was all about Frankie. 5. Chicago - I was drawn to this season every week despite the fact 6 of the 7 people annoyed the hell out of me. It was like a train wreck for me.

Last night's Serena/Capriati match was great, but it was seriously marred by too many bad calls. The biggest one came when Serena obviously won the point but the chair umpire overruled and gave the advantage to Capriati. It was amazing. I can think of four bad calls off the top of my head. Terrible, terrible line calling. Tonight will be huge with top seed Roger Federer facing two-time US Open champ Andre Agassi. I can't wait for that match.

Mine was fun. I managed to take all my hard classes (calculus, physics, half of AP English) my first semester so that the only thing I had to worry about my last semester was the second half of AP English. Second semester included tennis season, so on top of doing next to nothing, I got to leave early for practice and matches. Being a senior on a sports team just added to the fun.

I just got back from Flushing Meadows where I watched Saturday's night session and Sunday's day session. I thought Rubin could upset Venus, but I was disappointed. Sunday was the second time I've seen Roddick play and I'm just amazed at how hard he hits the ball. It's unreal. On the men's side, I'm going with my gut of Federer/Roddick in the final. Federer/Agassi will be a tremendous match, but I really believe Federer will win it. Hewitt will give Roddick his first challenge, but I think Roddick will have that in straight sets. On the women's side, well I don't really care about women's tennis, but I'd like to see Lindsey Davenport win it all before she retires. I don't think that will happen, but I can hope.

Hands down, Jasmine from Aladdin.

Going to see Collective Soul tomorrow. God bless the Cordish Company for bringing bands I liked in high school to their new entertainment complex.

Father of the Pride was good. I like the old lion. Scrubs was awesome (as usual). I was skeptical about Heather Graham guest starring, but she worked pretty well. Plus Elliot needs someone to interact with until her and J.D. sleep together again.

"Cock in your mouth" definately got past the censors.

Stamford man dies in parkway crash By Joy L. Woodson Staff Writer August 17, 2004 STAMFORD -- Funeral services will be held tomorrow for a city man who died early Friday in a motorcycle crash on the Merritt Parkway. Marcin Makulski, 31, was thrown from his motorcycle west of Exit 33 in Stamford and was pronounced dead at the scene at about 1:45 a.m., according to state police. "The vehicle veered to the right while negotiating a turn in the roadway and subsequently impacted with several wooden wire rope guideposts," Trooper Donna Tadiello said. Makulski, an only child, was remembered by his friends and family as a talented artist and devoted friend. "We were very close. He was my dream baby and I loved him," said Makulski's mother, Luiza Titera. Makulski emigrated from Warsaw, Poland, in 1985. He settled in Brooklyn, N.Y., with his mother, who had immigrated to the United States five years earlier. He attended Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens, N.Y., and Westhill High School in Stamford after moving here in 1990, according to his family. Makulski received his general equivalency diploma and attended several music and art programs, including a music production course at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, friends and family said. "He learned very quickly," his mother said. "He always said in school that he knew it already. They couldn't teach him anymore." Working since he was 14, Makulski had worked at Pray Automobile as a service adviser. Most recently, he was a part-time disc jockey and a graphic designer at World Wrestling Entertainment in Stamford for the past five years. "He was a tremendous asset," said William Goertel, director of television graphics at WWE. "He was the sweetest man I ever met. He had the uncanny ability to bring people together, and he was a phenomenal artist." Goertel said the logo Makulski made for his DJ and production company, Family Sessions, spoke to his love of music and compassion for others. The logo is three hearts with musical notes inside. "He had enough motivation to cover all of us," said Jeffrey Gomez, who played music with Makulski. "He was the glue. Without him, we'd probably still be playing in our bedrooms." Gomez said Makulski was planning to sell his red, white and blue Yamaha motorcycle. It was not clear from the report whether slick pavement, excessive speed or lack of a helmet were factors in Makulski's death, Tadiello said. "Every time Marcin left the parking lot, he always wore his helmet," Goertel said. "He was very diligent about that." Stamford Fire Department and Stamford Emergency Medical Services responded to the crash scene. State police are investigating the accident. Copyright © 2004, Southern Connecticut Newspapers, Inc.

I saw my last concert of the summer this past Sunday. "Weird Al" Yankovic at King's Island. It was nothing short of amazing.

It also helped in spotting counterfeit merchandise. I'm not entirely sure the leak wasn't planned.

I wish somebody would put Veronica in her place. I just noticed that BTNY Mike and LV Steven are on the same team. I wonder if anybody's ever tried to connect cast members by who they've hooked up with, like a R-rated six degrees of seperation.

"The Shit They Should Have Shown" special was hilarious. The burials at sea and Randy talking smack in his Luigi costume ("Come down here, backpack. I knock you out") had me rolling.
