I think there are two gay guys on this season. And the next Challenge (Battle of the Sexes 2) is scheduled to start as soon as the current Road Rules season finishes up.

Johnny Jeter is very solid in the ring. He's had some good matches with Johnny Nitro and Joey Matthews. Capotelli isn't bad, but I've never really got into any of his matches. As far as tag teams go, I would bring up Chris Cage and Tank Toland or Brent Albright and Chris Masters. Either team would be work well on whichever brand needs them the most. I haven't watched Smackdown in months, so I don't know what their tag division is like.

And there it is. Even though it was the most heartbreaking moment in UK basketball history, it did produce one of the best sports headlines ever... Fundamental Christian Crucifies Kentucky. It also produced two of the most hated people in Lexington, Coach K and Laettner. The only person hated more is Eddie Sutton. 1998 helped UK fans get over 1992. Then there were those two regular season losses. UK could beat Duke by 50 points 100 times in a row and we still won't get over '92. Despite the outcome, damn if that wasn't one of, if not the greatest basketball game to ever be played.

Georgetown College has produced 3 major league players, the most recent of which played one season in 1963. I'm not that surprised, since it is an NAIA school.

Regis is 72? He and Dick Clark must have discovered the fountain of youth or something. That or a lot of cosmetic surgery.

So who was cheering for the Men's b-ball team...

Dream Team most unpopular athletes in Olympics ATHENS, Greece (AP) -- The U.S. men's basketball team is getting slammed from all sides. These Dream Team impostors are jeered in Athens bars by Americans, booed in the arena by Greeks and the rest of the world, despised back home by people fed up watching their selfish ways on TV. ------ This article pretty much sums up how I feel about the Dream Team and the NBA as a whole. -
I was in the "Perfect is going to win" boat. And yes, it could have been much better considering the participants involved. I've not seen SS '93 since it aired, but I remember loving the Bret/Doink and Bret/Lawler parts. Lawler played the "cowardly heel gets his" part perfectly. He made me hate him when he was faking his injury and I loved every second of Hart beating him. What made it even better was Hart not letting go of the Sharpshooter despite threats of a reversed decision. I thought that whole segment was chock-full of great story-telling.

The strike definately killed my interest. I can't remember the last full game I watched that wasn't a post-season game. I remember my dad buying Reds season tickets in 1994 that got a lot of use until the strike started. My family used them, company employees used them and his customers used them. Once the strike started, the ticket office called him and said they would be giving him tickets to next season's games to compensate him for the tickets that couldn't be used that season. He said no you're not. You're giving me my money back. Nobody in my immediate family has been to a MLB game since.

I've been waiting for this movie since I saw the preview when I saw Eternal Sunshine... Am I correct in saying it hit theaters nationwide on August 20th?

Add my name to the list of people calling Bret/Shawn SS '92 underrated. Jushin Ligar/Brian Pillman vs. Chris Benoit/Beef Wellington from Clash 19 is very underrated. I never hear anybody mention that match. It's one of handful of matches I can watch over and over again and truely not be bored by the time it's over. Pillman and Benoit chop the hell out of each other, Wellington brings some stiffness, and Ligar busts out an Asai (sp?) moonsault to the floor. This was in 1992 and I remember being blown away by this match.

1998 because of the aforementioned Wrestlemania vibe and the ladder match. 1991 was a close second for me, though.

"Smoove Jams" - The Trilambs

Good lord, I just listened to Black for the first time and that may very well be the best version I've ever heard. Hearing the crowd sing every word to the last few lines gave me chills. Great live album.

Some of us were annoyed with them LONG before that. The tennis moment that I think stands out the most hasn't been mentioned yet. Plus frequent ESPN blowjob recipient Pete Sampras has yet to be seen. I suspect we'll see the '96 US Open quarterfinal where he pukes twice and comes back from match point against him to beat Alex Corectja in a 5th set tie breaker somewhere down the line.

For what it's worth, 17,273 people were in Freedom Hall for the fight. The Courier-Journal says 15,554 of that was paid.

The "watch the Diva Search winner give Typhoon a handjob" is pretty funny.

I got it from worldtimeserver.com. If this is spyware, is there a program like it that doesn't contain spyware? Edited to say that a2 and AdAware do not recognize it as such.

My clock in Windows always wants to jump ahead 5 minutes. I use the Atomic Clock Sync to fix it, but that only works for 5-20 minutes. Is there any way to fix this?
-
I never got it to work properly. Our "tech" guy (he was hired as an engineer, but after our computer lady quit he started handling this stuff) said it might be the computer updating the clock based on our server. I guess I'll just use the Atomic Clock Time Sync and deal with it.
