Well, it was either going to be Lashley or Bob Sapp (Meltzer said since they could not come to an agreement with Sapp, Lashley was going to do everything they had planned for Sapp). As green as Lashley is, he can be carried. Sapp is robotic in the ring from what little I have seen. A carry job by anyone, especially in ECW, would seem to be impossible.

Does the match with Brock at the Rumble count as a main event?

Any thoughts on if the Big Show will be elminated early or if he will be the last man to come out and be around until the end? I like the idea of having him elminated right away, how it was done with Taz, but think that he will be the last man released and the last man pinned.

I never figured one of the Wild Samoans would make it into porn.....

When do you think they are going to redesign the ECW title? Also, isn't the one they are using a just a replica belt?

Here is another problem. Off the top of my head I can think of 4 faces from the undercard. Al Snow, Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Balls. It is funny, with WWE and all of it's money ECW had a better roster 6 years ago. Do you honestly think they could run a PPV without any Raw or Smackdown wrestlers?

When you have a dearth of credible upper carders why would you not have MNM come in 45 seconds earlier so Burke and Terkay do not get jobbed out? Stupid.

The Warrior might be unique but he sure seems to be able to put it to Vince like no one else.

I know some are upset that Booker lost the title, but the way the booking had been set up Batista had to win. Since he came back Batista has only talked about winning the title (for close to 5 months). Also, how many non-title wins has he had? There comes a point where you either have to pull the trigger or risk turning someone into Lex Luger. Batista was on the Lex Luger doorstep. Also, did the Survivor Series teams come out as teams or did each individual or team get an entrance?

What kills me is that ECW has (supposedly) a brand only ppv in less than 2 weeks. One more week of tv left to set it up, and there is only one match booked! It is almost like they want this brand to fail. An undercard made up of some combination of Thorn, Dreamer, Sandman, Striker, Davari, Terkay, Burke, Dupree, Moore, Balls, and Knox does not instill a lot of confidence. Mid-level heels and jobber faces in sub-par wrestling leaves me out on getting this ppv. They should make all of the matches "Extreme Rules" to give old school fans a reason to order this.

Very smart. If the WWE really wants to bring someone back to make Wrestlemania feel special they should throw everything they have at The Rock and induct him into the Hall of Fame and make an appearance at the event itself.

Why would the company waste the Rumble match to build up (basically) an exhibition match between an old timer in his 50s and a wrestler that is leaving. All they need to do to build the match is have Show throw out a challenge 6 weeks before the event and book from there. Also, the match is pointless unless they can somehow work in a bodyslam spot. I would be surprised given the physical limitations of both guys at this point if it could be done and not look terrible.

Here is the problem right now. Big Show is leaving and Vince does not want to put the belt on RVD. Test and Hardcore Holly are not worthy of the title, by any stretch. That leaves either Sabu or CM Punk. I like Sabu, but can he be expected to hold up for much longer? If he is only a transitional champion then who is he transitioning too? Sylvester Terkay? If you are Vince you have CM Punk who is one of your most over wrestlers (including those MSG chants that make Vince cream). He is a "new breed" guy, but would get cheered by the old school crowds (one of the only new guys that is able to do this). He is young, he can talk, he can wrestle. The only heels of any consequence that he has not beaten are Test, Holly and Big Show, you can have him do that in one night. How much more over is he going to get by beating Mike Knox. I look at it almost like Bret Hart from '92, just put it on him out of the blue and let him run with it.

They have been treating ECW as the 3rd brand for a while now. Cyber Sunday is being billed as the battle of the 3 champions. Not the 2 WWE champions and 1 ECW champ. If I remember correctly ECW on TNN was doing about what TNA is doing now. They are doing almost double that now. What do they want to be doing? Also, I think the show only being live once every month or so now has something to do with the drop in ratings. If they are going to tape the show, they might as well do it every 3 or 4 weeks and in an ECW location. (Kind of beating a dead horse, I know.)

Why so few matches? With only six matches every match can go over 25 minutes and I am sure that will not be happening. What is going to be the filler?
