Darko is not going to do anything next year but sit on the bench. I know he is raw and all, but he has shown nothing at all. He runs like his shoes are filled with cement, he is 7'4 but still could not get a 6 foot jumper over the front of the rim in the finals, he shoots free throws worse than Shaq ever did, he broke his hand in the 5 minutes of PT he had in the finals and will not be able to play in the summer leagues. Even with summer league play he still would not have a hope of being ready next year. Anything above minimal improvement will be shocking to me.

Too much for Nash. He is a good player, but he is not going to put you into the playoffs. Dos anyone really believe that Kobe is seriously considering playing for the Clippers?

Someone will get brought in soon that is a big name and over the hill as Vince is desperate and will act without thinking. You know the one person in the world who loves this news more than anyone else right now is Hulk Hogan. I would be surprised if Hogan is not brought back and given a top spot. Other over the hill names I expect that will be rumored are Hall, Nash, and Sting. Goldberg getting resigned now I expect has a stronger chance of happening. Bob Sapp has been mention a few times as a possible signing too, I do not rule that out. Vince will not be sleeping between now and Wrestlemania as I am sure that the match has already been re-booked 5 times in the past day.

I would like Jesse Ventura to get in some commentating, but I do not know how that would work with his royalties.

So I guess the question is, what uniform will T.O. be wearing when next season starts?

T.O. just traded to the Ravens for the 51st pick in this years draft.

Good pickup for the Bengals. They have got a ton of guys coming in the next few days, it would be nice to get a talented CB as well as find someone who will take Corey Dillon off of our hands.

He said numerous times in the past few months how much he is looking forward to playing for a new team. I have got to believe that he will not be with the 49ers next year, or he will make the whole locker room miserable. Good news for the Niners as they will get something for him now, bad news for Owens for obvious reasons, and bad news for his agent as he no doubt lost a huge client and is an idiot.

Towards the end didn't Nova come out to some Quiet Riot. I seem to remember him coming out to "Metal Health" and then reading something about how Paul Heyman was freaking out over it because he hated it so much.

What was the plan with Ludvig Borga? I have heard a few things about how he was supposed to win the title but how was that supposed to play out?

That was from his Hummer accident. He had to have his ankle fused and when it was not healing properly they ran the angle where Austin crushed his ankle with a chair so he could have it operated on again. I believe after the operations his foot was stuck in one permanent position.

Today in the Enquirer page B3 it says "Kearns is throwing only 100 to 110 feet. He isn't sure when he'll be game ready". He says he will be game ready by Opening Day but that is still a concern to me. I hope you are right and we have a good season, but I just do not see it. There are too many "ifs" for my taste. I am not a fair weather fan, I will still go to games and cheer for the Reds, but I do not have any high hopes.

Has there ever been a reason given for the delays on Chinese Democracy? I mean there has got to be something seriously wrong with it or it to keep getting delayed. At the MTV awards a few years back Axl made it sound (to me at least) that the problem was with the band. The thing has been delayed so long that he could have learned to play every instrument on the album, plus I am pretty sure that the musicians he has assembled can play the stuff. I wonder if Axl's voice is just shot he did not sound too good at the MTV awards, but I have not heard any of their live stuff.

Who is great in the Reds lineup? I have given up on Junior, Adam Dunn has been in a two year slump, they said in the paper today that Austin Kearns still is not healthy, Sean Casey is a .300 hitter but you will be lucky to get double digit home runs, Larson cannot hit at the major league level, Jimenez was good last year and hopefully he will keep it up, Willy Mo impressed me but he will not get playing time, Olmedo and Castro are better with the glove than the bat, Larue is decent, and Larkin is washed up. The bullpen is solid. Haynes and Wilson are garbage, Claussen and Acevedo could be good but have not done it on a consisten basis yet. Lidle was a very good pickup though.

I would not be surprised. When are some of those prospects from the last few years going to start showing up? As for last place in the Central do not count out the Reds. You know the Astros and the Cubs will make the playoffs this year, they have the Reds, Brewers, and Pirates to beat up on every other week.

Punch-Drunk Love did not even play on 1,300 screens. It is hard to say that it proves that Adam Sandler is not a box office success when it was not really a movie that got alot of exposure. Little Nicky and 8 Crazy Nights on the other hand...

These two teams were the two of the most common answers when preseason picks were going out for the worst team of the season. Both teams are in the playoff hunt. Porter is especially impressive because he is a rookie coach. Sloan is especially impressive because probably 50% of the Utah fans do not know everyone in their own starting lineup.)

From Sportsline: Now the question is what kind of position will he be drafted in. I know alot have said that he is not ready, and I doubt he is (especially after taking a year off). But I do not see him lasting past the first round.

Portis is a good back, but the Broncos can take seemingly any RB with talent and turn him into a 1,000 yard rusher. Why give into Portis' demands?

Once again if they do this right it could work. If they charged $15.00 for the "ECW" PPVs they would probably sell pretty well. I just cannot see a brand with a Saturday night only timeslot and a (likely) roster with less star power than the other two shows selling well at $34.95 a pop.

I picked the Cubs. They were in a position to win it all last year, and with the additions they have made (and maybe even more to come) they look strong to me.

I am pretty sure we should be able to get Ahmed Plummer. I am hoping by some miracle we can get Champ Bailey, but he will get franchised so I doubt it. Sapp is overrated. I know Ray Lewis is the one recruiting him but I cannot help but wonder if those two would clash at some point during the season.
