When I worked at a vidoe store, customers asked if Eyes Wide Shut was any good. The first four of five times I said yes. But after they all came back saying they hated it, I started to tell people not to rent it since it seemed I was the only one who liked it.

Next week is the recap show. April 27 - Recap Show May 4 - 1.21: The Greater Good (Sayid II) May 11 - 1.22: Born to Run (Kate III) May 18 - 1.23: Exodus: Part 1 May 25 - 1.24: Exodus: Part 2 (Two Hours)

Acording to this site, it was one of the skits she rejected.

Neither is Rush, but people still make fat jokes. Concerning Rush, I don't hear fat jokes anymore. I think it's moved on to jokes about him being a junkie.

I think it was a contract dispute. He wanted more money.

HHH only does what will make himself look like a million bucks in the ring. Saying Goldberg was overated or not compelling is just wrong. Was he a good worker? of course not. Goldberg was over during the winning streak because there was a formula that clicked with the fans. Things went downhill when they deviated from that formula. WWE shouldn't have signed him because the only way it would work was if they went with the formula and everyone knew that wasn't going to happen for a couple of reasons: 1.)He was a "WCW guy" and WWE simply wasn't willing to go with it. 2.) The other wrestler's would have had a cow. 3.) In many ways, steamrolling over the roster simply wasn't practical. I hope that "sacrifice your company" line isn't inplying that the winning streak had something to do with WCW's downfall. Ending the streak was one the things that sarted WCW on the path to its demise. There was a lot of milage to get out of the winning streak, but WCW decided to kill the goose that laid the golden egg.

Stephanie should have left HHH for Kurt Angle in the love triange feud in 2000.

AICN is reporting that tonight's episode... is the one with the major character death. It's Boone. Also, the two part finale will be titled Exodus and the flashbacks will be to the flight and crash. April 6 - 1.20: Do No Harm (Jack III) April 27 - Recap Show May 4 - 1.21: The Greater Good (Sayid II) May 11 - 1.22: Born to Run (Kate III) May 18 - 1.23: Exodus: Part 1 May 25 - 1.24: Exodus: Part 2 (Two Hours)

Who here has gone to a Wrestlemania?
MDH257 replied to Prophet of Mike Zagurski's topic in The WWE Folder
I was at Wrestlemania 17. It was great. -
Everyone who guessed the "new owner" would be Russo gets a gold star and a brownie point.

He wasn't on crutches at WM 7. He didn't start showing up on tv in crutches until Earthquake attacked to build up him being in the Bushwackers' corner at Summerslam. I think everyone is right about Rumble '91. He just wasn't healthy enough to get in the ring.

Yeah, next week is 6.20 and the major character death isn't supposed to happen until 6.22. I've read that next week people are looking for Locke since he's dissapeared, so I'm betting we don't find out much more about the light coming from the hatch.

March 30 - 1.19: Deus Ex Machina (Locke II) April 6 - 1.20: Do No Harm (Jack III) April 20 - 1.21: The Greater Good (Sayid II) April 27 - Special clipshow ABC is airing so that anyone who wasn't already watching can try to catch up. ABC is doing this for Desperate Housewives as well. May 4 - 1.22: Born to Run (Kate III) May 18 - 1.23: Season Finale Part 1 May 25 - 1.24: Season Finale Part 2 (Two Hours) AICN says that the finale will be not have a flashback focusing on any one cast member. I assume this means that either there won't be a flashback or (as I'm suspecting) the flashback will be something that pertains to everyone (like the plane crash in the pilot). The 2 hour Lost finale is appearently going to go head to head with the finale of American Idol. It'll be interesting to see how the media plays this up as Idol was up against Lost once or twice in Feb, Lost held it's ratings and Fox moved Idol so it could get out of Lost's way. I'm guessing things will be different this time though.

Phil clearly said "next week on the Amazing Race", they showed clips of the show, then he said "and join us a week from tomorrow night for a special look back at this season". A new episode is on Tuesday. The clip show is on Wednesday.

If Shawn hadn't "lost his smile" he was going to lose the title to Sid on Raw and WM 13 against Bret would have just been a one on one match on the undercard with no title on the line. Vince was getting panicked about buisness being down and decided around the begining of Feb. that he needed to have big guys (in size) in the main event. So Sid vs Undertaker was going to be the title match and in the main event slot even if Shawn had wrestled on the show.

If Rob and Amber finish last, it'll be a non-elimation leg. That's the kind of luck they have.

Yes that was exactly the plan. But the movie bombed and Zeus was awful in the ring, so all that changed. Zeus was so bad that No Holds Barred the ppv (what ended up being the Hogan-Zeus blowoff) was a tag match because Vince knew it would be a disaster unless he put someone who could work (like Savage) in there to save it. I'm betting that's why Zeus was only in the Survivor Series match for about 10 seconds.

I got to see an advance screening of Sin City last week. There are three Sin City threads, but this one has the most replies so far, so I'm posting this here. Just to note, I've never read the comic books. I thought the movie was a real trip and full of adrenaline. The black & white suits the film. I thought all the computer generated city effects worked because the violence is so over the top that it has to be taken as a big bloody comic book come to life and not as a new kind of film noir as some have called it. Of the three segments, I actually thought the first one was the best with Mickey Rourke giving the performance of the movie. It enough to make you wonder how his carrer would have gone if he hadn't messed it up. Clive Owen is the star of the second segment and I thought he held his own. I hope he dosen't play James Bond because I think that would be a step down for his career. Bruce's segment comes last. Jessica Alba is great to look at and all, but I think they could have found someone better. Though the weak performences in this movie stand out (Britney Murphy in particular), they aren't around long enough to drag it down. I was actually suprised that Jamie King gave a good perfornance since I always considered her just a pretty face, while Murphy (whom I thought was a better actress) comes across very wooden. I thought it was great I think the guys on the board will have a good time seeing it. BTW, the previews seem to get people expecting a lot of nudity. So if your wondering. There are a couple of seconds from Jamie King, but the only name actress who really gets naked is Carla Cugino.

It's in between the second round and semi-finals. I always thought that was stupid because Savage had to go straight from his match with Dynamite to the finals against JYD. It did provide for some great moments from Jesse. He kept going on about how unfair it was for Savage and that JYD should be forced to do 200 pushups before the match. I don't know if JYD could have pulled off tht many.
