I thought Lorne or NBC wanted more time before the election to political skits.

I think they had Edge win the title at the house show so that he could lose it the next night on ppv. They were going for a deal where all the champions would lose their titles leading up to the main event. This was to tease that Austin would also lose his title to The Undertaker. They still wanted Jarrett to be I-C champ, so they had Edge win it the night before.

The lights came back on yesterday after 12 days. As much as I want to complain about how long it took, I'll refrain since I was incredibly lucky. My house suffered no major damage and I had family to stay with that had power, so I only had to deal with no electricity for a day and a half (which felt a lot longer.)

Did anyone get the Season 4 DVD deluxe version at Target? What exactly is the one hour of cast bonus footage they're advertising? Edit: It's a one hour Q&A with cast members at the convention last year in Scranton.

And if the U.S. court system has taught us anything, it's that right always prevails.

Um... I agree.

The night after Bad Blood, Goldust and Marlena were going to renew their wedding vows to celebrate the end of her 30 days with Pillman. During the wedding, Marlena was going to turn on Dustin and leave with Pillman.

According to USA Today, they recast the role of teenage Voldermort. IMDB says the the guy from the end of Chamber of Secrets was probably 22 when they filmed that, meaning he'd have been 29 when the filmed Half-Blod Prince and thus too old to play a teenager. I guess they didn't have a choice, but I had been pleased by the fact that they're hadn't been any recasting except for Michael Gambon having to replace Richard Harris. Was it ever mentioned in the book or movie how old the Voldermort that Harry encountered in Chamber of Secrets was compared to how old he'll be depicted in the flashbacks in Half-Blood Prince?

Yeah, I always thought that theme was a thousand times better than "Man Called Sting".

Well, it's about goddamn time. He was nominated last year.

Ledger's performance as good as everyone is saying. My only complaint is the ending (as far as The Joker is concerned). The Joker is a sadistic bastard who dosen't let up. Every attempt to stop him just draws everyone deeper into his game. It all seems to be leading up to a final showdown that just kind of ends with a whimper.

19/20 - The one I got wrong was "Which was not an original state?". I should have gotten that one right, but it balanced out because I guessed correctly on "Which is not a federal power?".

As mellowblissful pointed out, I believe the radio ppv broadcast were for Armed Forces Radio.

I'm glad I didn't know Myers and Carvey were going to do a Wayne's World bit. Since I didn't know it was going to happen, I wasn't as disappointed by the fact that it absolutely sucked.

Will Stephanie McMahon ever divorce HHH? Is there any hope for the future of wrestling? What will end wrestling's culture of drugs and death? Why should I care about the future of WWE?

I think they're going to drag out the Michael-Jan drama for a while next season. The tone of Pam's voice when talking about being surprised that Jim didn't propose seemed to foreshadow the problems/break-up everyone seems to be waiting for.

My first memories of knowing who the champions were: WWF 1986 Hulk Hogan Randy Savage British Bulldogs

At least it's a step up from last year when Transformers won "Best Movie You Haven't Seen Yet".

I'm not looking forward to this. The same idiots who thought optioning, lensing and releasing "Baby Mama" was a good idea. What do you wanna bet that Tina Fey is his first guest?

Shipping was fast enough, I don't think mine took longer that a week or two. Quality depends on what you're getting. I got a Best of Ric Flair in the WWF '91 disc from him and there were tracking problems from the source tape. I later got a Saturday Night's Main Event set from him. When one disc didn't work, I e-mailed him and he quickly sent a replacement with no questions asked. Overall, I'd say he's a good guy and would go to him again if I really wanted something.

Since it hasn't been posted here yet, here's the audio to Sandcastles in the Sand. Sandcastles in the Sand

Even though I likely agree with Stone's opinion of George W., I would have rather seen the movie about the My Lai Massacre that he was going to make before the writer's strike.

If Matt dosen't have contact lenses, what immediate choice does he have?

Yes, Hogan showed up to announce he would be Brutis' partner at WM IX.
