At a meeting with TV Critics, the producers revealed that Earl will stay in prison for at least a few episodes. Live from the TV Critic's Press Tour

I think NBC is making a mistake, they should spread the hour long episodes throughout the season.

No 7-11's, No Hardee's/Carl's Jr.

Saw it at Midnight on Tuesday night and I think this might just have been the best of the movies. I love how much darker and more intense the series gets as it goes on. After seeing it, I'm happy David Yates is coming back for the next one. Regarding Mole's complaints (and for the record, I've only seen the movies. I have the first book, but have never gotten around to reading it.), it made me think of some comments Nicholas Pileggi made. He was the author of Wiseguy, the book that Goodfellas was based on. He adapted the book himself and said that one of the toughest things for him to deal with was that the book is the book and the movie is the movie. Making sure the script was completely faithful to the book wasn't what was best for the movie in terms of story and plot. No matter what he or Scorsese did, the movie wasn't going to be the book. It can't be the book and feeling bad over every detail that gets changed is just falling into a trap you can't get out of because some things will have to change.

Does RAW is Nitro count? (The episode early on in the Invasion, where the main event between Buff Bagwell and Booker T, was announced by Scott Hudson and Arn Anderson) When was it that they lost that ppv stipulation match and Coachman & Al Snow did Raw for a couple of weeks.

Even if its fake, still hysterical.

Over at AICN, There's an interview with Order of the Phoenix director David Yates. It's mentioned that he's coming back to direct Half Blood Prince and Steve Kloves is returning as screenwriter (he wrote the first four movies, but didn't write the script for OOTP). I guess it's been on IMDB for a while, but this was the first I'd heard of it.

Thanks to Comcast taking over Time Warner's Houston cable service, 24/7 may finally be arriving in Houston in the coming weeks. I'm considering subscribing, so does anyone here get 24/7 via Comcast. Any complaints about the service?

If Vladimir is friends with Piper, then that would explain why he got to do the angle where he chose Hogan to team with Piper at MSG.

http://www2.tbo.com/static/special_reports/movie-midpoints/ I got 22 out of 45. EDIT: For the record the one's I got were: 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 15, 17, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 32, 34, 35, 37, 38, 42, 43, 45. Seven were movies I hadn't seen. I had close calls on two more:

And its not exactly small print, the books aren't as long as they look.

Question... I've seen jokes in several places in the last few months (Epic Movie, The Craig Ferguson Show) basically saying that Radcliff is getting too old for the part. Does anyone think this is a problem? I'm not sure about Grint & Watson, but Radcliff was only a year older than the character was supposed to be when he filmed the first one. Now he's two years older (since they've been taking a year and a half between movies), but people are acting like he's 25 and trying to pass himself off as a teenager. Does anyone really think they look too old for the parts?

SNL Season Finale Review- featuring a look back at the season
MDH257 replied to bob_barron's topic in Television & Film
If they were gonna bring back Fred's Fugly Betsy getup, they should have just done a full out Ugly Betty parody. Bob, I loved Garden State, how do you think it should have ended (and what else did you think was wrong with the last 20 minutes)? -
They're wrong. On Monday, NBC sent out a press release announcing 30 half hours of The Office for next season (25 episodes, 5 being Hour long). The guy at AICN then misread it and reports it as being 30 episodes, 5 being an hour. This, dispite the fact that the guy prints the very press release at the end of his report: E! mentions 30 episodes in their wednesday story on Jenna Fischer's back injury. But, they're wrong too. Hell, I think E! got it from AICN.

The cool bits in movies and tv shows in youtube
MDH257 replied to Vanhalen's topic in Television & Film
That is a great scene. But it's from early in the 2nd Season, not the first episode. -
Um... it was real in the sense that throwing up on cue was something he could legit do (Or at leastget something to come up, did you see Beyond the Mat). If it was fake then there would have been a lot more liquid when he did it to make it look better (or worse).

I'd have to go with Season One being better. How does everyone think they should resolve the Earl in jail cliffhanger? Should they pick up where they left off and somehow get Earl out (as I'm hopping for) or should next season start 2 years in the future with Earl getting released as scheduled?

Didn't they stop calling themselves that awhile ago? A few years ago I thought I saw them try to claim that the letters now stood for "America's Movie Channel".

During the Family Edition, everyone complained that they needed to leave the continent. To be fair, an entire season on one continent was too much, but still...

Has there been any other cast changes, besides Michael Gambon replacing Richard Harris, in the series?

For some reason I remember it being implied tht Diamond Dallas Page did it.
