If there is a squash Monty F'n Brown should get it, he is the future.

I think Johnny Devine was the fake Triple H.

Maybe he did a bad gorilla press.

No, Dusty quit because he didn't wanted to be in the booking team which was formed because Dusty was killing ratings and PPV buys.

Or he could be NWA World Champion. Jeffy doesn't hit your criteria. -=Mike Did Jarrett stole your lunch when you were a kid? No, but he stole $10 three times from me for his shitty product. -=Mike Did he forced you to order three PPVs at gunpoint?

No, Dusty veto'ed Jarrett's decision to job to Monty so he obviously has more power.

No, Dixie Carter is. When it comes to matters of booking, Jeff has the real final say. If Dixie wanted something really bad enough, I'm sure she could put her foot down, but she usually stays out of the wrestling side of things, especially finishes. Let me specify about Jeff's booking power. He has the final say over his own programs. Like with bookers during Hogan's run in WCW, Dusty does the lions share of work, but Hogan had the final say over anything involving him. Same deal with Jarrett here. The final call over everything Jarrett does, as it always has done, lies with Jeff himself. Like the time when Jarrett wanted to drop the title to Monty Brown and Dusty said Monty was not ready?

Fuck Dusty.

Well said.

I see ROH more as a home of TNA rejects (Strong, Punk), wrestlers who won't sign TNA contracts because of Japan (Low Ki) and Indy scum(Everyone else).

Sabin won the no. 1 contenders ultimate X match on BDSSP..

Kazarian, Shane and Siaki are former X-division champions, it would be retarded to replace them with a bunch of jobbers. And isn't Nigel McGuiness more of a european style wrestler. I'm aware of the fact that they are former X champs, but I just think that they fit better elsewhere, and shouldn't be there. And originally, when the XD was at it's best, the "jobbers" were the ones coming in and making names for themselvs. Red, Sabin, etc. So new faces is something the XD needs, not rehashes of past champs. And yea, Nigel's a brit style worker, but I'd like to see him anyway, he was in one in the past, and did fairly well.... There are already two new faces in Puma and Matt Sydal. Replacing Kazarian, Shane and Siaki with McGuiness, Delirious and Nate Webb means a quarter of the wrestlers will be new faces. I don't think that will go too well with the paying customer and IMO Kazarian was the MVP of the last battle royal.

So they should give Jarrett vs Hardy, Styles vs Abyss and Truth vs Raven on Impact? Then who the hell will buy their PPV?
-
Umm... i never said that. Actually I am a big fan of Killings but I don't think people who watch TNA for the first time will be too impressed if they see K-Kwik as the world champion. No, it lasted close to an year.

I don't know if you read my earlier post or not but as I already said that was probably going to be Raven's last night in TNA. You wanted them to make an outgoing guy appear stronger than the champion? Jarrett was the only top face those days as both Raven and AJ were heels(I think). So obviously TNA wanted their top face and biggest draw to look strong against a departing guy. And when they saw the kind of reaction Raven got that night they extended his contract and turned him face. I don't know why is everybody saying he got buried after that loss. Guys sorry to break it to you but that loss made him even bigger than before. He was booked in one of the best feud in TNA history (Raven-New Church, Raven-Gathering). After that he was again pushed in the main event with the other 5 guys before TNA smartly realised that they need to spread their main players in front of the free TV audience. No. AJ in the heavyweight division will kill the X-Division and casual fans remember Truth as K-Kwik "Jobber Extraordinaire". On the other hand casual fans recognize Jarrett and know that he has been a main-eventer/uppercarder in the big two (5 times WCW champion, 5 times intercontinental champion, multi times tag-team champion) so he brings instant credibility to the title. Just read my earlier posts.

Just like the verbal agreement between Bret Hart and Vince? You do realize what can happen if you give the title to a non-contracted guy right? Some of the examples that come to mind are Ric Flair, Alundra Blayze(Or whatever the hell her name was), Shane Douglus. Lets face it, Raven wasn't getting the same kind of pops that he received that night and that was probably going to be his last appearance but after TNA saw how over he was, they rehired him and pushed him as a face.

How many times have you read "I am not going to pay to see wrestling, however if it is on free TV I'll watch" on a wrestling forum? Lets face it, wrestling fans aren't the richest bunch of people. They are not going to shill 10 bucks to watch wrestling. It is perfectly acceptable for the exposure they have. WWE shilled their Vengeance PPV on primetime on Spike and UPN. Yet the got 150,000(I think) buys. For the kind of publicity TNA gets, I think 20,000 is a good number. And if they land a primetime deal obviously more people are going to watch the product and will buy the PPVs. Can you explain the kind of direction you want TNA to take? AJ as champion? Sorry, but as good as Sabin is, he can't carry X-division which is their main selling point. Harris as champion? XXX are definitely better as heels and the only face team left will be 3 Live Kru. I bet you don't want to see Kannan or BG as champions. Raven? Well he is busy with this excellent feud with Sabu and after this they may just give Raven another title shot.

Yes, I am saying that most of the things on TNA are great. I can't however say that they will do huge business in the future as mostly only online fans know about TNA. Although if they get a primetime slot on Fox then they can do good business getting about 1.5-2 rating.
