Personally i've still got time for him and Dickov, both gave their all down here and was sad to see both of them go. A lot wouldn't share my view though. Savage seemed determined to be on his worst behaviour when Birmingham visited last year like he was deliberately making sure he was booed just like at any other ground. Still got a feeling most Leicester fans just pull a wry smile while other fans are screaming abuse at him if they're watching on tv. Dickov isn't popular for going when he was expected to stay (said he would supposedly) but he deserved to stay in the Premier I reckon. Couldn't read this page without posting that. Strange. What's the point of putting 30+ year olds on that list? They aren't there any more for a reason for god's sake! Old man Teddy being the exception but he could barely manage 90 minutes. Some of the picks are quite accurate, some are just lazy (15+ goals in Div 3 = Quality!). They're definately having a joke with number 17. Bit less long winded than the one involving Peter Taylor, Robbie Savage and a chip shop in Tottenham though.

I've had no luck at all playing AMC's just behind the front strikers for some reason. So far i've done better with wingers or just sticking two central midfielders in front of 1 DMC, 3 CB's and 2 wing-backs. That's only with Leicester and Slavia Prague however.

I think I predicted a relegation dogfight for Everton this season. I still think they'll miss out on the last CL qualification place in the end but they've already proved me and everybody else wrong so far so who knows? Nobody looks totally convincing in their efforts to catch them at the moment. Not a big fan of Beattie. Could have spent that money a bit better I think. Cahill was certainly one of the better buys this season.

    Football Manager 2005

97/98 was my favourite game ever. Probably a bit easier than the later games but still the most enjoyable. My best ever game featured Arsenal, Metz and Bournemouth. Got Bournemouth to 3rd place in the premier by buying French and Scandinavian players (not Svindal Larsen, Knutsen or Ljung though, they were CL quality) and won domestic and champions leagues with the other two. I loved playing it for a few seasons and buying these made up players who had god-like stats. The French schoolboys on frees at the start of the season a few years in were particularly amazing, ready made internationals a lot of them and my Metz side made up half the national squad. After about 18 years i'd discovered a Ukranian striker better than Shevchenko and the only two players to ever come out of Chad, both identically world class AMC's. The game refused to load after i'd done 29 seasons. Shame they didn't have the game time stats option back then to see how much of my life i'd wasted.

He'd had a really good game up until then as well.

Stupid extra-time bug on FM 2005 almost robbed Leicester City of a famous FA Cup final win. Liverpool equalized in the 136th minute! Fucking stupid bug. Won on penalties though. Gareth Williams somehow finished 2nd in both player of the year awards. Despite these strange events i'm spending about half a day on at the moment. Ipswich away this afternoon, we always lose there. A League Cup win in 96/97 the last win I think. Mark Robins!

Man Utd deserved it overall. Arsenal have no bottle or character when it comes to the crunch against the other top sides. They lose their quality and composure too easily and that defence (and goalkeeper) looked in trouble every time Utd went for their throat last night. All of which was a shame because I hate Man Utd. Thank god for Chelsea.

So's Julian Joachim, I can remember when him and Dion Dublin were getting 30 goals a season between them in the premier(think it was 98-00) for Villa, I'm surprised he never got an England cap. Edit: Bellamy to Stoke on Loan on the bbc site is the best rumour I've heard in ages, shame it'll never happen, seeing him at the same club as Ade Akinbiyi and Tony Pulis(former manager of ours who lasted 6 months, was chosen ahead of Peter Taylor and who turned down signing Lua-Lua for 250k) would be great. Joachim was tipped as a future international when he was a youth player and still a teenager at Filbert Street. Never really came close to developing into the top class player some thought he would however. He was fast and scored the odd spectacular goal but his all round ability wasn't up to scratch and he never had a footballing brain. Remember seeing him for Leicester reserves once and he was just a head down & run for the corner flag type player.

    Largely forgotten

I remember Can't Buy Me Love for the speech Patrick Dempsey gives at the end telling the jocks, geeks and everybody else to be cool to each other. Motel Hell is worth checking out for horror fans. Not gory really but it's a film you'll remember. Here's a few........ After Hours - Excellent black comedy and definately one of Scorcese's more forgotten efforts. Better than a certain film that just got 11 oscar shouts IMO. Vigilante - If you like Death Wish style films with a few dodgy moments of exploitation style violence then this one's for you. The presence of Robert Forster and Fred Williamson might give you an idea of where this is pitched. Deadbeat At Dawn - Probably one of the more notorious low (that's VERY low) budget street gang films. Decapitations, eye-gouging and all manner of weapons and crazy legit stunts. Cry-Baby - Johnny Depp, Riki Lake and Traci Lords in the same film?? Bad Taste - Most of you have probably at least heard of this if not seen it if you're into horror or gory stuff. See Peter Jackson before he got fat and rich. Maniac Parents Repo Man

Surely Gillingham will be one of the two to go down with Rotherham, they were absolutely shite on saturday. Probably the worst side i've seen down at Leicester this season.

    2004 Razzie Nominations

I think it's the large number of films Stiller is involved with that gets some critics moaning. Most of his films I find enjoyable but it's a backlash against how often they have to a review a film with him playing the same the kind of unlucky/goofy guy routine.

    Mobile Phones

I've never owned a mobile phone. I don't really know how to use one either to be honest although I managed to use one of those older models (this was when they were originally biggish and before they went small and back to bigger again I think) about two or three times when I borrowed one off my mum & dad. One time my sister's rang while she was driving and i had to give to my mum in the backseat to answer because I wasn't sure which button to press to answer it. Anybody else never really touched the things? I probably will get one soon (my mum keeps having a go at me about it) but I won't use it much. Might need one in an emergency I suppose.
