Two words: BUTT UGLY.
-
I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Austin vs. HHH at NWO '01 (1st ever 3 stages of hell match). Both men went the distance, and the ending clearly showed that the loss didn't affect Austin's popularity or momentum going into Wrestlemania. I guess another mention goes to the Owen Hart tribute match between Bret and Benoit (Oct. '99 Nitro).

We're the ones that like tournaments, but the WWE doesn't. Why do you think they did away with KOTR?
-
Vengeance '04 only had Edge vs. Orton as being the only good match on the card. The ME was good until it was tainted by the ending. The rest was just filler. Vengeance '03, on the other hand, had Benoit/Eddy, Rey and Kidman vs. WGTT, and the Triple threat main event. Vengeance '03 had better matches. As far as Armageddon goes, I would have to go with last year's, on account of the matches being less "gimmicky."

I agree with most of your card, with the exception of the Hassan match. I think he has to be in a match where he totally squashes his opponent. Foley would probably put him over, but not in a squash match. Hurricane, Tajiri or Rhyno would be better candidates.

If memory serves correct he did the following moves: Spinebuster, basic beatdown punches, powerbomb (?), and plain rag doll tossing. Anybody that has also seen the movie feel free to correct me if i'm wrong or add anything that I forgot.

Cage is right. Why do all the most recent film Draculas have to be portayed as pansies or eurotrash?. The best movie Dracula I have seen, besides Nosferatu, is the one played by Gary Oldman in the Bram Stoker film.

Most likely Bischoff will announce an Elimination chamber match for New Year's Revolution, which is the opposite of what most of us want.

Me and my friends were disappointed that the crew didn't pull off the amazing heist, like in the first movie. They had the original egg secure way before it got into the museum. That was kind of anticlimatic to me.

Thanks for the info, cawthon. I remeber that that N2R was good overall, and that No Mercy was a so-so kind of show. I guess this is what other people on this board implied earlier. They said that 1999 was a crappy year for WWF PPV's. Only 2 or 3 matches on each PPV being good, but the show being crappy overall.
-
Thanks, Alfdogg. Much appreciated. I rmember the No Mercy show because of the Terri invitational. I really liked that match. I have a couple of questions, if anybody doesn't mind answering them: 1) Why were Bret/Luger and Flair/DDP feuding at the time? 2) What was the overall opinion on Halloween Havoc?

Didn't Angle get a standing ovation after he lost the title to Brock during that Iron Man match on Smackdown?
-
Eddie losing to JBL at GAB. Listen to the ovation the people give Eddie after the match.

1) CW title match-I pick Spike going over Funaki. 2) Dixie Dog fight- Puder will win, but Mizanin will get it somehow. 3) Women's match - Haas turns heel and gives Dawn Marie the victory. 4) Handicap match- Big Show will tap to the Ankle lock. Joy will be involved in the finish somehow. 5)US title match- Cena over Jesus. 6) Tag team match-- RVD and Rey over Dupree and Suzuki. 7) Fatal four way: You just know JBL will win somehow.

Crystal Pepsi was the shiznit, IMO. Too bad it's gone.

Will it be available in bookstores, or is it only available through the internet?

It was good, in theory. Bendis dropped the ball badly on this story. What I didn't like about the story was the following: 1) Not making Quicksilver part of the story. 2) The way Hawkeye died. I didn't buy the whole "dying in a blaze of glory" bit. 3) The anticlimactic ending. This was caused in part because of Quicksilver not being involved. 4) The lack of reaction by Wanda's teammates when Magneto appears and takes Wanda away, without any struggle or sign of protest by the Avengers. 5) The constant use of aarrghh as an expletive.

Many thanks, Metal Maniac for the quick tutorial. YO THE MAN.

He's a great showman and has keen knowledge of psychology. Still, I wouldn't put him in my top ten list. There are people more deserving and qualified ahead of him.
-
With this match added, this PPV has thenpotential of being just as bad as GAB. You could certainly guess that they will add a CW title match and probably Hiroko vs. Torrie again (God, no! ).
-
Great read. Hopefully, Candido can make it in OVW, and in time to the WWE.
-
At the Armageddon site, it says that the final two Tough Enough contestants will be involved in a Dixie Dog fight, whatever that means

Ditto. I want to know how to post spoiler tags.
