I remember that during last year's Summerslam, JR and Lawler went out of their way to acknowledge her presence. Her name's Jamie Kopke or something.

I'm thinking Cena , so they can have a blow off match to their mini feud, with interference from Eddie.

The story was okay, but IMO 14 issues was too long.

Typical Hogan. He's fortunate enough to get the biggest paycut this side of HHH, and he still bitches about it. It's not like he's wrestling *** matches. F'n prima donna.

They should throw Foley into the mix to make things really interesting.

I think the majority would rather see Randy get the chance to have a run as champion than see an extended JBL title reign. I agree with most of you that Randy is not ready, but he's more deserving than JBL. The man couldn't be elevated to IC title status, and all of a sudden he's the champion? Fuck that.

Hopefully, Eddie will win it at No Mercy or Survivor Series, or else we can look forward to more JBL squash matches at Velocity.

Flair calling Bret overrated is nothing more than a work? *GASP*

PWInsider reported a couple of weeks back that HBK wouldn't make it to S ummerslam. If that is true, put Kane in the IC title match or use him for backstage skits at least.

Another Big Legend Backstage At RAW Last Night News Article Submitted By: Ryan Clark Published On: 07/27/2004 Pittsburgh native Bruno Sammartino was in attendance at the Mellon Arena last night for RAW, visiting superstars and filming his documentary: "The Life of Bruno Sammartino." Among the wrestlers seen saying hello to him were Regal, Orton, and Batista. He was not on camera at RAW and there was a ton of footage shot backstage for the documentary. Bruno spotted Ric Flair walking around and was about to walk over to him to talk about what Ric wrote in his book about Bruno, but very quickly Ric disappeared.

Bruno Sammartino, a resident of Pittsburgh, was backstage at Raw filming some footage fo some documentary he's doing (with Vince's permission). He swa Flair backstage and he commented that he wanted to talk to him later regarding his book. When Bruno was done filming (whatever) he looked for Flair, but couldn't find him. I read about it in PWInsider.com.

Flair has dug himself a pretty big hole. He's already in hot water. Look what happened when Sammartino was backstage at Raw. Flair was nowhere to be found.

Guys, what do you think the odds are on there being a fatal four way match for the IC title (Edge vs. Jericho vs. Kane vs. Batista) ?
-
-Benoit vs. Malenko (Hog Wild '96) -Taz vs. Bam Bam (Heat Wave '98) -Benoit vs. Angle (Backlash '01)

Piper is the perfect foil for Flair. They should put him in charge of a stable or a single wrestler.
-
I think from DC it has to be Hawkman. From Marvel Moon Knight.
-
Most probably a work. I don't remember Meltzer reporting any backstage problems between Bret and Vince, with the exception of Bret's contract.
-
Barney had a fling with Linda Ronstadt in the "Mr Plow" episode. They were both in a jacuzzi.
-
The match Bret had with Mr. Perfect at KOTR '93 was also good. They should include both. I myself haven't seen it, but the majority seems to like it. After Sledgehammer slapped me back to reality, I have to go with just putting the match he had with Flair from SO'98.
-
I remember reading in the Torch newsletter that Bret was dealing with knee problems in late '98 and early '99. That could be one of the reasons his WCW matches weren't up to par. Besides, I remeber some Benoit and Malenko matches from the same period that weren't ***. Let's remember that the booking was atrocious. I'll take any match Bret had in WCW than any main event from that era (98-99).
-
They should consider putting Bret's matches with Sting and Benoit from the 1999 Mayhem tittle tournament. These are rare gems, IMO.

Wishful thinking.
