That would be funny as hell (at first). Having Coach as GM might result in him focusing his attentions on the announcers or on Tajiri.
-
I guess they expect us to believe that Benoit won't rush to Eugene's aid. They should include that in the preview somehow.
-
Jericho has all the qualities to be HHH's Superman. They just have to groom him and take him out of the upper midcard (Just a thought).
-
Regal would be a good choice. They could put Flair also.
-
I think his workrate has improved, in part because it's obvious he's not on the juice anymore. I think he realizes that he can't pull off the invincible heel gimmick anymore. His losses to Benoit and Benjamin attest to that. His next title reign won't be as long. He'll clearly lose the title at Halloween Havoc or Sur Ser.

It was agood match, overall. The biggest surprise to me was that Benoit pinned HHH cleanly. I knew Benoit would retain and was expecting a DQ finish. Kudos to HHH and Benoit.
-
Place him in the tag division with a veteran like Val.

Anchorman beat King Arthur?! That's great. I now have another reason to go see it.
-
He's a good candidate. I read in Wizard that they were cosidering Tim Robbins. I suppose he could pull it off too.
-
Based on what Iggy said, it's obvious that HHH will not want to be made more vunerable by another loss. I hae to say it, but the match at Vengeance would have to end in a DQ to justify the match at SS.
-
From what Meltzer said, it looks like they have Edge by the balls with the hair issue. I guess this would mean a heel turn, if no one's buying the tough guy act. If this were to occur, he could kiss his feud with HHH goodbye.

Don't forget Goldberg.

Last year, I was at Summerslam in Phoenix. I got to witness Kurt Angle retain his title against Brock in an incredible match. I also got to see Eddie do the same in that fatal four way with Benoit, Rhyno and Tajiri. Truly awesome matches.
-
I read somewhere that we should expect Rhyno to have a match on the PPV. With 7 matches, expect to see more coverage of the Raw Diva Search (ugh!). You can expect the coverage to be bad if Lawler can't maintain some self-composure.

Basically, so far it's been established that: 1) Eugene will have a say on the outcome on the match. Most probably, he'll realize that HHH is not his friend and will cost him the title win. When the rematch occurs at SS, he'll win the title (most likely on a gimmick match so Benoit has no clear dominance, as in a straight match). 2) If he's expected to film his movie (La Jornada del Muerte, whatever), he won't have a long reign. Expect a 3 month reign at the most. I don't mind that HHH wins the belt back, just as long as he keeps the workrate up.
-
He should put over RVD and Booker T (assuming he hasn't retired). I'd be asking too much if it were Rey.

We all know how much Vince loves his hosses. Whether we like it or not,we 're going tosee UT vs. JBL. The only thing that can save that match is to add Eddie. *Thinks of UT vs. JBL*.

I second that motion. ARRGH! Must have Avengers #500 now. I have to know how that fight with the 5 Ultrons ends.
-
I like the fact that they can now focus on characters like Colossus and Iceman now that we know Berry won't be back. Take it as a blessing in disguise. I read in 411mania.com that the Elisha Cuthbert was one of the finalists set to play the Invisible Woman. At this point, I would be satisfied with Jessica Alba, Rachel McAdams, Kerri Russell or Elisha Cuthbert. The big question now is who will they cast as Dr. Doom.
-
That's the match they had at GAB '96. I was referring to the match they had at BATB '97. It had a stipulation that if Sullivan couldn't pin Benoit, he would retire.
-
Maybe this decrease in ratings is due to the fatal HHH effect? One thing is certain: Benoit needs to have at least one backstage segment. Not seeing enough of the brand's champion doesn't speak very well about his title reign.
-
Most of these matches are great,IMO. Instead of the Wedding Gown match, they could've included the blowoff match between Benoit and Kevin Sullivan from BATB '97. Other matches that come to mind are from the '99 edition of ECW Heat Wave: Taz vs. Tajiri and RVD & Jerry Lynn vs. Impact Players.

Mushmouth sounded more coherent compared to when Ahmed did his promos.

I really enjoyed the Maelnko/S2H bout, as well as the Y2J/Benoit match. The only thing that ruined the match was the DQ finish. The main event was good, even if with all the interference. I keep forgetting about Eddie's match with Essa Rios. It was okay too. Does anybody have a pic of Trish wearing that sexy pink outfit?
