Beavis and Butthead is on Comedy Central Right Now
haws bah gawd replied to a topic in Television & Film
Is anyone else pissed that most of the episodes in the boxset have upwards of a minute removed from them? -
A few years back, I tried one to refill my black ink cartridge. Needless to say a few minutes after I started squeezing the refill thing, the majority of my living room was covered in black ink. I recommend avoiding these do it yourself things unless then come with a shield of some sort.

I have yet to post, but feel the need to. Eddy never failed to get me to laugh, whether he was a heel or face. From his time in WCW playing Uncle Eddy and driving Chavo crazy, to his Mamacita days in WWE. Eddy brought a lot of laughs to WWE, as well as work rate. God bless you Eddy Guerrero, may you rest in peace.

Come up with real songs for TNA wrestlers to use

Christopher Daniels - Planet Hell by Nightwish could fit him just as well as Disposable Teens. Monty Brown - Step Up by Drowning Pool seems like it fits his gimmick to a T if you read the lyrics. -

Yes it is. I'll admit the fight is tough, but it was a lot of fun fighting an enemy as huge as him for the first time. -

Final Fantasy VII and X are tied for favorites of mine. I love the story and music of each equally. VII - One Winged Angel made for perfect music for the final boss fight, and the death of Aeris pissed me off something fierce the first time around. Afterall, she was my most powerful healer, and I relied on her a lot in battle. The bosses weren't too overly powerful, but the game still had its share of puzzles and tense battles. X - Overall the music of this game is far better than the music in VII. "Otherworld" (the angry metal song that plays in the first blitzball cinema), "Someday the Dream Will End", and especially the various versions of "The Hymn of the Fayth" make for the best selection of music to come from a FF game. The boss fights again tend to be on the easy side compared to some of the basic enemies. There is a lot to do in this game, anyone remember getting all the sigils? I played about 8 hours of the PSX remake of FF1, and it was enjoyable for what it was. FFVI lost my interest after a few hours. I just couldnt get into it. VIII was a massive departure from the bliss of VII. I didnt like having to draw my items and spells from enemies, and the junctioning system was a little too tedious. It wasnt a bad game by any means though. On the subject of FFX though, how could you NOT enjoy fighting this guy close to the end: -

Damn Shame. -
I used the calendar/scheduler a lot on the phone I used to have. So, I am wondering if the Blackberry 7920 is a good-quality, reliable phone. If anyone has one, or knows someone with one, could you inform me of some of the pros and cons of this particular phone? Thanks in advance.

I'd never heard of that site before, but it was very helpful. Thanks!

Can he do 10 different spots in a row and have the opponet no sell everything? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm sure he could! He is AJ's parallel afterall!! And it's the WWE, who knows how to sell anymore? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ironically, the first time I ever saw Styles was wrestling Hurricane on Jakked 3 or 4 years ago. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was at the Bilo Center in Greenville, SC for this. Fun little match to watch, with a very young AJ Styles. AJ played a very cocky heel and had an above-average match with Hurricane. I give the match kudos for AJ taking the Vertebreaker like a MAN. I highly recommend tracking it down. It's pretty readily available on Limewire.

Just out of curiosity, what are the chances of seeing Vader tonight? Does anyone have any idea if Raw last week and the Taboo Tuesday match was just him fulfilling his Legends Contract obligations, or if he is back full time? Sorry if this has already been brought up in another forum or news topic, I just havent noticed.

Are there any other botch compilations available?

I wanted this to work so badly. I still remember when Goldberg got beat down only for the reformation of the nWo to happen immediately after. A different nWo with no Hogan had a lot of promise, unfortunately, as stated, the kick of death to Bret Hart, and Goldberg being an idiot and bashing in the limo windows with his bare hands, pretty much screwed up the whole thing.

Beavis and Butthead is on Comedy Central Right Now
haws bah gawd replied to a topic in Television & Film
One interesting thing could have been if they took some 1 or 2 recent videos and had Mike Judge do the guys voices over them. Imagine Beavis and Butthead ripping on some of the current Boy Bands and other random pop stars. Perhaps when the bext box set is released, whenever that may be, something like that could be added. -

I also demand Hobo Humpin Slobo Babe - Whale If I Had a Brain - MC 300ft Jesus This Love - Pantera (I've seen about 2 seconds of this video in the commercial for the set, so I think this is in) All For Love - Bryan Adams, Sting, Rod Stewart, or one of the random Michael Bolton videos (Just for the guy's reactions to seeing the video) -

MTV2 occasionally shows the episodes with the music videos intact. With the constant reruns of the same few episodes, I've seen my share of Pantera, Morbid Angel, Whale, and Brian Setzer. -

What episodes did they show? MTV2 has this horrible habit of only looping the same 8 or 9 episodes. -
Ever since I watched Saw II this past Sunday, "Forget to Remember" by Mudvayne has been looping in my head.
-
Who is this guy? Thats got to be one of the best full-body outfits I've ever seen. Doesn't look like it would be too terrible constrictive in the ring either.

Whats with the Vader Frog jokes? Could someone fill me in on this one?

What happened to horror movies on Halloween?
haws bah gawd replied to Failed Bridge's topic in Television & Film
Maniac is on IFC at the moment. That's about as creepy and sadistic of a horror movie as you could hope to come across. I agree with the complaints about AMC. Every year I look forward to the horror movies they show for Halloween, but this year it was just the same 10 or so movies looped over and over. At least I got to see Stephen King's Graveyard Shift a couple times, which is a guilty pleasure of mine. It was also good to see The Hitcher, but thats more of a suspense than anything else. In the same tradition that the Christmas Story is shown on TNT for 24 hours every year for Christmas, I think some channel needs to air Halloween back to back, all day long. If I can't have that, at least air classics like Dawn of the Dead, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Hellraiser and Child's Play. Hell, it would be nice to see the Creepshows get some play on Halloween. -
I dont want to start a flame-war or anything, but I never saw what the big fuss was over Christian. He's decent on the mic, but has never greatly impressed me in the ring (aside from taking his share of SICK bumps during TC matches). Gotta give him his due for telling WWE to stick it and quit on them since hes been the token jobber for the company the entire year. If he can get signed with TNA, maybe I will get to see some more impressive things from him in the ring. Good luck to him, for sure!

Far and away the best horror film I've seen in a long time. The hardest scene for me to watch was Holy shit the ending took me by surprise. I got so wrapped up in the movie, I didn't see it coming.

And I used to think I was weird with my mashed potatoes and ketchup blend.
