I have an example from a Smackdown taping in December of '04. Holly wrestled the Velocity main event against Luther Reigns. Holly's music hit and the place went ape shit. I can't explain it. It was unreal, the reaction he got. Luther won the match with the Roll of the Dice, but when Holly got his heat back after the pinfall, after the cameras stopped rolling, the crowd ate it with a spoon. You have to give props to Lex Luger though. The IWC hates him like the plague, but from 96-97, he was the man in WCW, right behind Sting. When he made Hogan submit to the rack for the WCW title in the Summer of 97, there wasnt a single person sitting down in that arena. Though you could either attribute this to the overness of Hogan as the monster heel finally losing the title, or the monster face Luger finally dethroning the cowardly champ.

I dont know if all EB Games stores are like this, but the ones in my area are notorious for being absolute pricks when it comes to first day game sales. They ONLY order what is preordered of a game, and no other copies. I know for a fact that the manager of one of the EB Games likes to do this, not only to be an asshole, but to create the ILLUSION that a game is hard to find. It's pretty much useless to go into an EB Games when a game goes on sell, because if you didnt preorder it, odds are the assholes didnt order enough copies to go around. Back on topic though, an 8.0 score, while not being bad, is still kind of below my expectations for a Madden game. You'd think that with EA holding an exclusive for the NFL, that the game would be damn near perfect. I do agree with the previous poster who said it's probably the reviewers holding a grudge over EA being an NFL exclusive game developer, so theyre probably interntionally giving the game crap reviews. Tuesday will tell though.

I'm with the rest of you guys now. Whats the purpose of having a cruiserweight division if you cut off all the flashy moves? Just wanted to add a quick note to this discussion. I work for Gamestop, and at least at my particular store, we are VERY strict on the sale of M-rated games to minors. If I see that a parent, big brother/sister, other relative is buying an M-rated game for a child, I take the time to educate them on it. Before it was banned from our stores, and many others, due to the rating change, you wouldnt believe how many parents came in wanting to get San Andreas for their kids. I always take the time to inform the person of the game's rating, and why it is rated that way. I've seen parents yell at their kids for even thinking that they would get the game, and I've seen a parent still insist that I sell the game to them. Not to mention my boss has made it abundantly clear that if we are caught selling an M-rated game to a minor, we will be fired on the spot. My theory is as long as one knows fully what the difference between fantasy and reality is, the problems are greatly minimized. Little Billy doesn't go shoot up his school because a ficitional character in a video game told him to. Little Billy shoots up his school because he's a little bastard.

I always loved No Mercy. My main complaint was always how the game slowed to a complete crawl when you wrestled a tag match. It took a lot of the enjoyment out of the game. I also wish THQ would have made the pre-made wrestlers movesets changeable. I got tired of nearly all the wrestlers having the same lame diving clothesline. The WCW games had a couple moves that were removed when THQ started making WWF games. I would have loved for some of my CAW's to have Scott Hall's second rope Outsider's Edge that was in Revenge. Also, I with they wouldve kept the combination attacks.

I recently had to reinstall the harddrives on my computer, as well as my operating system, drivers, etc. Anyways, whenever I scroll up or down in a window, the scrolling is extremely choppy as well as slow. I will give more information if needed, but does anyone have a quick olution to this problem?

Glacier Gear Auction Well there you have it. You can get some shinguards, knee pads, and a bottle of Morphoplex! The picture at the bottom-right is kind of tiny, but Glacier looks like SHIT. Shame his "ancient ceremonial helmet" isn't included.

I like the Attitude Era Wlorld Title the best. The Winged Eagle is a very classy looking belt, but my guess is WWE saw the SIZE of the Big Gold (and you know Vince and his preference for large things, wrestlers mainly), and decided to take the design of the Winged Eagle, and make it nearly the size of the Big Gold. Having owned a replica of both titles, the sizes are nearly the same. It's just my opinion that the Attitude Era was made to mix the old school design with what WCW was using. My vote goes to the Attitude Era belt.

"Wheel in the Sky" by Journey. Love Journey and love the song, but the local classic rock station has started playing the holy hell out of this after not touching it for probably 5 years or so. "My way or the Highway" by Limp Bizkit. Local modern rock station, after not playing this for well over 4 years, has recently rediscovered this "lost classic".

I agree with whoever said they should call him by his real name. Why not just use his actual last name? Magnus would pass fine as a ring name. It has a good sound to it. They could just push him without a race card gimmick, and Im sure he would get over, and not get the cheap heat he had been getting. He has a good look to him, and has really good mic skills, so Im sure it could work for him.

With the exception of the first few minutes of House of 1000 Corpses, I absolutely hated it. It seemed like it was trying way too hard to be the TCM but without Leatherface. I agree with whoever said it in an earlier post, it seemd like it was trying to be disturbing, just for the sake of being disturbing. Sure, I felt sorry for the torment the characters had to go through, but overall it was a crap movie. Watching Baby scalp that one guy while she sat in his lap talking about what a cute little bunny he was, was pretty damned sick. The LONG DRAWN OUT scene with whoever it was holding the gun to the Sheriff's head was kinda lame, IMO. Me and a lot of the other people in the theatre thought that the film had froze. I probably wont be seeing the Devil's Rejects until the dvd release.

This amount of bitching about a simple move from WWE is ridiculous. How many guys use the chokeslam as a sigature spot? Kane, Taker, Show Big Boot? Hogan, Tomko, Edge Get over yourself Hardcore.
