Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
haws bah gawd replied to CBright7831's topic in Television & Film
^^^ According to the bio on the card, he's a coward and will align himself with anyone just to get them to stop yelling at him. I enjoyed Frenzy in the first film. I still don't understand the hate. -
I watch Pro Wrestling, and the occasional MMA show on Spike TV. Other sports such as Football, Baseball and Basketball bore the holy hell out of me.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
haws bah gawd replied to CBright7831's topic in Television & Film
Well, here is the toy for The Fallen, which was posted to TFW2005.com earlier Saturday (2-07-09). http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/t...evealed-166761/ His alternate mode is a Cybertronian Jet, and he is expected to be Deluxe or Voyager sized. *awaits the "ew, what the hell is that" comments* Also, drum roll please.....Here is the cardback for Johnny-5....I mean Wall-E....I mean FUCKIN' WHEELIE -
WWE General Discussion - February 2009

Any news as to why Sheamus hasn't gotten a call-up? I've heard nothing but good things about the guy. TJ Wilson has the most fucking ridiculous haircut I've ever seen. I see Joe Hennig is doing everything he can to compensate for the receding hairline. The only other crazy comb-down I've seen like that has to be on Buff Bagwell. I saw the guy in early 2007, and he was rocking the comb-down. -
Once Great Cable Channels That Have Gone Downhill
haws bah gawd replied to TMC1982's topic in Television & Film
G4 - Fuck this channel for dropping Unscrewed with Martin Sargent in 2004-ish. One of the finer points of my early TechTV/G4-viewing days. All you get out of this channel now are endless replays of the same episodes of Cheaters, Cops, Unbeatable Banzuke, and Ninja Warrior. Even X-Play, which was once at least tolerable, has become unwatchable. Nickelodeon - Once a fine source of animated programming, and some surprisingly clever shows. It is now nothing more than endless reruns of Drake & Josh, and Spongebob Squarepants. MTV - There's nothing I can add that hasn't already been said. -

What...the....fuck

Honestly, I've never heard of the guy, or the band. Still, hate to hear of something like this happening.

What do you mean the "old" days? It's still like that now, brudda. I take it you've never been to a comic shop or Magic: The Gathering tournament Lushus? I made the mistake of stepping into our local comic store to pick up a copy of Toyfare a few years ago while a tournament was going on. The smell of unwashed funk "punched me in the face" when I walked in the building. It honestly smelled like rotted meat and urine. I don't understand what it is about some people who play a lot of card games and or video games that make them think they no longer need to bathe. Maybe they think, "I've been doing nothing but sitting for the past 4 days. It's nothing rigorous. Why should I shower?"

Kane has always come across as fairly intelligent (with his political standings, not so much with his "on screen" persona). I believe Val Venis had some strong, well-supported political views as well, and even wrote a regular newspaper article for whatever town he lives in. -
much hotter. My girlfriend is in a wheelchair due to a birth defect. She has one of those shirts too. We both think it's funny as hell. A friend of hers gave it to her for Christmas in '04 or '05. Her Dad was fucking PISSED.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

The alternate mode of that giant wheel thing is supposedly a Steam Shovel, ala Scavenger from the G1 Constructicons. Though where the huge wheel comes from, I have no idea. So, my guess is either the Fallen is a Steam Shovel in alternate form, or it is indeed one of the Constructicons. Just have to wait and see. I'm be happy either way. -
I guess technically, since WWE has 'erased' his pinfall loss in a tag match against Matt Hardy on the SD after he won the ECW title.

Anyone still bother with this? I checked one of my old files not too long ago, and saw some pretty amazing stats on Paul Burchill. I guess I had left him in my development fed for a while, but he's showing some amazing stats: Over - 89 Speed - 90 Brawl - 97 Technical - 91 Charisma - 95 If I ever get the time, I should "call him up". He'd probably become my top draw pretty quick.

People didn't like Frenzy in the first film? News to me. To add to the "what will Soundwave transform into?" talk, on the TFW2005 boards, some of those guys have heard he's a satellite of some sort. -

I want to know what that gigantic wheeled thing that Optimus is fighting at the end of the trailer is? I've heard everything from its Devastator, to it just being one of the 7 Constructicons. Regarding the first film. I enjoyed the humor. I still think it was a STUPID idea for the military to take the Cube to the middle of a big city and try to evacuate it from there. I know it's just an excuse for Bay to add in his HUGE CGI EXPLOSIONS, but still. Bad tactical decision on the military's part. -
Ultimate Warrior Interview/Post Recent Comeback

RVD vs Warrior would definitely be interesting. RVD would probably make Warrior's punch-clothesline offense look like death's icy hand, but Warrior would have a hard time working with RVD's flippidy-floppidy kick-based offense. -
I've heard several conflisting stories regarding why The Brian Kendrick doesn't get pushed on SD. It's been everything from "he doesn't take the road agent's advice on how to improve his matches, or what to add to them" to "he's failed a marijuana test over a dozen times, and just pays the fine".

WWE General Discussion - February 2009

I know there was one PPV where it actually happened, but I can't remember for the life of me. I want to say it was toward the early part of his WWE run, but I might be wrong. It did look really weird, though. I remember that happening too, but I can't for the life of me remember which PPV it was. It just looked.......weird. Since I was so used to seeing him always with the ponytail thing. It's like Triple H's run from the Summer of 2002 until Spring 2004 where he dropped the beard. It just looked odd. -
I don't mind the random encounter. I fucking hated how the Final Fantasy series went towards real-time battles with FFXII. The quick time events are getting a little old though. Backtracking is sometimes OK (SOTN, for example), but when it's done for no real reason other than adding unnecessary length to a game (I'm looking at you Resident Evil: Code Veronica) then it gets obnoxious.

Not really a "Fall From Grace", but a friend and I had this conversation earlier in the week. We found it funny how HBK vs Cena has gone from being worthy of a Wrestlemania main event, to a throw-away, unadvertised match in the middle of RAW. I would say Brock Lesnar probably had the biggest Fall when you put things in perspective: Wrestlemania X-8 - Debuts the night after, to one of the biggest pushes ever. I mean it took him what, 4 months to become WWE Champion after his debut? Crazy! Wrestlemania XIX - Main events against Kurt Angle, wins the WWE Title. Wrestlemania XX - Pulls a midcard match, with the crowd knowing he and Goldberg are on their way out. Crowd boos them both out of the building. Loses.

Biggest "Drop the Ball" Moment in Ever
haws bah gawd replied to TMC1982's topic in General Wrestling
I thought Heyman's plan was to have a "World vs. TV" feud, with RVD holding the TV Title...but RVD got injured before he got the chance. As random as it was, Mike Awesome as Champion was pretty entertaining, IMO. We got some great matches between him and Masato Tanaka, and it was always fun to watch him "ragdoll" Spike Dudley. I do agree though that if RVD weren't injured, it would have been time to give him the ball and let him run with it. -
Pete and Pete is Nickelodeon's magnum opus. That was probably the greatest thing ever to appear on Nickelodeon. So random, yet entertaining.

Most Intense, Passionate Promos of All Time
haws bah gawd replied to TMC1982's topic in General Wrestling
Eh, I always kinda liked Ric Flair's promo from a couple weeks before No Way Out 2002. The one where he was pleading with Vince to not bring the nWo to WWE.
