I'd like to see Zeke get a fresh start in ECW. New gimmick and everything. I don't know what the guy is like in the ring since I've only watched him do squash matches, or be squashed, but he has the look.

Ever seen someone so proud of the cardstock they use on their business cards?
-
Primo was sent to Raw already Damn really? Thought for sure it said both he and Carlito were drafted together. Oh well. Least one of the Majors Bothers is making an ECW homecoming!

For South Park this week, looks like Randy is helping Stan prepare for a Boyscouts pinewood derby race. Anything with Randy is gold 99% of the time, should be good! The Race is Tomorrow!

So the only legit tag teams left are Jesse and Festus, Priceless, and The Colons?

Mike Knox to SD - I am very happy about this, mainly because I rarely watch Smackdown. Never enjoyed him in the least, and honestly can't see what others see in him. Kennedy is going BACK to RAW - Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't he injured nearly the entire time he was on SD this last time? Agreed 100% that's its good for Candice Michelle to move to SD. They can at least edit multiple angles to make her matches SLIGHTLY more tolerable. I eagerly await the inevitable match between her and Michelle McCool.

I don't watch a lot of TNA, but I looking at random video clips on Youtube. Saw a clip of (Super) Eric Young, Death Valley Driver-ing Rellik and Black Reign at the same time. That's a fucking impressive feat of strength for someone of Eric's size.

Mark Henry definitely needs to move to RAW, if just for some new scenery for the guy. Send Regal to Smackdown to give him something new to do as well. Still can't believe another draft went by, and Undertaker still hasn't been moved to RAW.

The terrosists already won.

Wow, so they post this shit on the internet thinking it makes them cool, then lose their jobs over it? Nice move! -

Didn't this turn out to be the Goldberg heel turn? It was intended to be the announcement of Mandalay Sports Entertainment buying WCW for 600 mil which would have put them in a spot to potentially finally kill off Vince's company for good...that fell through, so they went on with the Goldberg turn. I thought the Mandalay deal was closer to 2001, while the heel turn was GAB 2000 (June). I think you're right. I want to say the Mandalay thing was in late 2000, followed by the attempted acquisition by Fusient around March 2001. I believe the Fusient buyout was all but done until the new head of the Time-Warner merger decided he "didn't want that redneck shit on any of his channels".

Why not make it a yearly tradition? Either way that makes the most sense. There's no way in hell, WWE would ever give Punk a victory over Triple H or Cena, even with the MitB stipulation.

I don't think anything is going to top "Bret Hart is returning to the WWF to lead The Invasion". I always forget who started that? Was it Keller?

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
haws bah gawd replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
50000 people in Goldberg's home town going nuts for what should have been a PPV match.... I was there personally, it was definitely not piped in. and as far as piping in crowd noise is concerned, the only time that I know for a 100% fact they they did it was during Goldberg's entrance in the smaller venues they'd run for TV up north where he didn't get much of a pop. I believe they also piped in his chants for Starrcade 1998 (the one where he lost to Nash), but I could be wrong. -
It's been quite a while since anyone posted in this thread. Thought I'd see if anyone lost anymore weight. I'm down to 238 as of yesterday for a total loss of 40 lbs.

That's what next(this) year's game is for!

YO! TSM raps: John Cena in 2009
haws bah gawd replied to Ed Wood Caulfield's topic in The WWE Folder
We get it John! Dwayne does movies that open at #1, and decided it was better to make millions upon millions doing 1-2 films per year, as opposed to making a couple million, destroying his body in the ring, night after night. I still think The Rock should have given his fans a proper farewell, but there's no denying the guy is a success in films. Cena just seems more bitter and jealous everytime he takes a stab at Dwayne. -
VADER? Badass!

I'm watching this show on BBCA called, "Married to the Eiffel Tower". It's about people who have sexual relationships and attractions to inanimate objects. We're not talking Dildos here, no sir! There are some folks featured here that are sexually/physically attracted to The Eiffel Tower, the fucking Tilt-A-Whirl at an amusement park, The Berlin Wall, a Samurai Sword, and a 6-foot section of Picket Fence. The hell?

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread
haws bah gawd replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
Well, folks have always said that Vince is a little out of touch (or a few years behind) with what's considered "cool and hip". Case in point, is stuff spinning considered cool anymore? Maybe no one told Vince that rap-rock isn't the hotness anymore? I was telling a friend the other night that with Bawitdaba and Cowboy being played, I was half-expecting Lonely Road of Faith or American Badass to follow. -
True. Of course maybe, just maybe, they could try to build someone else up, too. My main point is that I don't "hate" Cena, I'm just somewhat sick of him. I can completely see why he gets the UBER push (Money!). If it could work for Hogan, why not Cena? Cena could pull of the "cool heel" more or less, and still manage to sell merchandise. Especially to those who are a little older, with lots more disposable income than kids whose parent's buy them a t-shirt at shows, or Wal-Mart. I know they keep pushing him because the kids (their target audience), and some adults love the hell out him, but the guy's been doing the same act for over 5 years. Lets toss it up a little and try something fresh. Theres only so many "these fine people here tonight" and "you're good enough, smart enough, and darn it people like you" promos this guy can do.

Yea, I saw a show about her on The Discovery Channel. Pretty sad story, really.
