I would mark the fuck out for a giant watermelon with legs ripping NYC apart.

Word now is his contract with TNA isn't up for another week and he can't sign with WWE until then.

Looks almost like the tail and back legs of a lobster.....

I think I just had one of those nerdgasms. The only extra character I remember objecting to in the SC series was Heihachi in the PS2 version of SC2. This was mainly because they thought it was a good idea to put a character with no weapons in a weapon-based fighting game. Sure you could get new wristbands for him, but it was still kind of a lame choice. At least they made him fast and strong as hell to compensate. As much as McFarlane gets ripped-on anymore, I loved Spawn in the XBox version (as broken as he may have been), and Necrid was a guilty pleasure as well.

I'm starting to think it's this guy. Thanks for the screen shots you uploaded. Having not seen the new commercial, I'm still trying to figure out what it is I'm looking at in those pics. I definitely see something, but theres way too much smoke and explosions to make out what it is. Damn you JJ!

^^^ Badass. I have a GREAT, up-close (from 2nd row) shot of the Undertaker climbing the ring steps at the last Smackdown before Armageddon 2004. I'll have to post it sometime.

Most likely, the Too Human release date is just an estimate created by Gamestop. Being a former employee, GS is notorious for guessing at release dates and posting them online, and in their stores. If you ever see them post a release date with the first day of a month, unless it's been confirmed by the developer, don't look too much into it. Too Human looks really good though, and hopefully it has made a drastic improvement since it's disaster of a showing at E3 2006. I remember hearing a while back about LEGO Batman. Did anything ever come of this one?

Huh? Back in the dying days of WCW your were almost always guaranteed a title switch whenever your tuned in to their free TV programs, and that did nothing to increase their viewership. WCW was changing champions on an almost weekly-basis. For a while in early 2000, it seemed the World Title changed hands at least 3-4 times a month. Teasing or following-through with a title change on free TV, is a little different than actually having a title change nearly every week. Although with TNA, they seem to be just as guilty when it comes to the X-Division Championship. How about Lethal chasing Sabin for months over the X-Division belt. He finally won at a PPV, dropped it to Joe the next night at the iMPACT tapings, then Joe dropped it again a couple weeks later. When you think about it, both companies aren't really all that different.

Yea, Fury is the one I'm thinking of. I guess it wasn't clear due to all the padding she had on for the Earthquake game, but she was looking like a man in Assault. What is everyone's thoughts on the obviously planted signs that the crowds hold? On the first episode, someone had a "MARRY ME HELLGA" sign. The audience has never seen these people before, in fact they were introduced, names and all at the beginning of the show, and you want me to believe someone brought a sign with that written on it? Lame NBC.

I assume she's there just to be the token female muscle. I don't think she'd be of much use in something like Hang Tough or The Wall. How about the female Gladiator that appears to have a penis, her name may be Fury? She's the one that was working the Assault cannon last night. Has she done anything aside from Assault? Crush is fucking HOT though.

YES! That was one badass motherfucker. Doing a flip in the air over a gladiator??!?!? Insanity. That was Kyler Storm who did the flip over Turbo during Season 7's "Battle of the Best". That would be . But of course, Turbo . In regards to the new version, I think it is a fun show. I could REALLY do without the general do-gooderies that the contestants keep spitting out, but otherwise its still fun... even if it doesn't have the Csonk. That flip was pretty insane. Anyone remember how well he fared in the Conquer part of the game? Turbo punching him in the face was completely uncalled-for. Faking you out or not, you dont jump down and slam your fist into the guy's face. You're two grown men using bungee cords trying to grabs colored balls from a stick in the sky. Have a little self respect at least and don't go punching the smaller guy because he unknowingly broke the rules.

I'll give you that one. It gives fans incentive to watch the TV shows, thinking they could possibly see a title change. I can also understand the frustration in those that paid for the PPV, only for the title match to happen again on the next TV taping, and a title change to happen. It's one of those double-edged sword situations.

The main event was really good. You can almost always count on Jeff Hardy and Umaga to bring a good match. HHH vs Regal was a good brawl. WWE should really get JBL a shirt or something before he wrestles another match. At least get him in the gym working on his pecs. There was more titties in he and Snitsky's match against Jericho, than in the Diva match. With Ashley back on RAW, the face-women's scene is going to be crowded once Candice Michelle returns.

I was thinking the same thing. Since the poster for the movie showed a giant Croc's mouth trying to eat someone, I figured everyone knew in advance that the monster was a big Croc. The only other time I remember a monster-design being kept this much under wraps was The Relic. The movie is kind of eh (compared to the book at least), but the creature design was pretty good.

Speaking of the show's dialogue being scripted; did anyone else want to slap the shit out of "Ms. Positivity Venus" as much as I did? Before and after every event when being interviewed, she went off on some tangent about how going through an obstacle was akin to her passing some test in Med school, or doing some other random thing. Even my girlfriend was getting tired of her by the second half of the show. We finally ended up turning the channel after her interview following the eliminator: "I can't feel my legs, and I can't breath,...........BUT I FEEL FRIKKIN AWESOME!!!!!!!!" Anyone see a Gladiator becoming as popular as original Gladiator Nitro was? Wolf is the only one that really stands out, as lame as his gimmick is. *EDIT* Did anyone else enjoy the almost-piledriver that that one Gladiator gave that girl on the first show?

Damn we're really stretching now. Now we're looking at shapes in clouds.

Why do I have a feeling we'll eventually see a "Rocky/Drago" storyline between John Cena and Vladamir Koslov? Amish Roadkill could get over on his own if WWE would use him and let him do just SOME of his old ECW stuff. Its not often you see a guy weighing 350+ that can do springboards. Teddy Hart could've been huge if he had pulled his head out of his ass. I think Santino Marella can also eventually become something bigger (upper-mid card if not main-eventer) than his goofy-heel character. Theres some videos on youtube of him in OVW, throwing guys around similar to the way ECW-Taz did.

Yea, as others have said, I guess its due to his balding hair, and freakish size that he looks a lot older than he actually is.

So which movies are you anticipating in 2008?

Damn, ANOTHER Mummy movie? A Motel Hell remake could be all sorts of cheesy fun. Cloverfield is my current must-see, followed by Dark Knight. -
Well, at least I wont have to come off $8.00 to see AVP:R in a theater. Good job!
-
I've been on a power metal kick for about a year and a half. Kamelot, Nightwish, Dark Moor, Epica, etc. Good stuff.

Getting RickRoll'd is one of the best things to hit the internet in a while. Almost as funny as Chuck Norris Facts. On topic though, we're a little less than 3 weeks away from the premiere of Cloverfield, so some actual creature shots are going to have to hit the net at some point.

Thanks. I'll take one. It was funny to be greeted by this after hitting submit: Thank you for confirming you magazine request!

So, I take it (judging by his appearance) that he was the "sweet one" of the group. I wonder which one was the "athlete", "tough one", and "everyday Joe"? The do-rags and dreads make it hard to guess.
