^^^ For a minute when HHH was working on Orton's knee in the first match, I thought he was about to use his old Indian Deathlock from 2003. Seeing a figure four was nice though. Main event was definitely my MOTY thus far. Great work from both guys. On another note, would it really hurt for WWE to let someone who ISN'T Cena, carry around the "Pimp My Belt"? That thing just looked silly when HHH was wearing it around his waist for the Umaga match. I'll admit, the belt is big and bulky like a championship should be (Cena always has it folded-up, and I didn't realize the strap is as long as it is), but on anyone but Cena, it looks goofy. I was rather impressed to see Batista win the way he did, but the announcers were really overblowing it, especially JBL. WOW! PEOPLE THINK BATISTA IS ALL ABOUT POWER AND NOTHING ELSE! BUT THIS MATCH SHOWED HE HAS POWER, GUTS, HEART, AND AGILITY! LOOK AT THAT SPIDER-MAN LEAP, COLE! Plus I could've done without Michael Cole's "Most Valuable Puke" comment. Cole makes my skin crawl as an announcer sometimes.

Advertisements in my area for a RAW brand house show in November are advertising a main event of HHH vs Orton. I know these things change by the second, but take it for what you will.

^^^ Because they're banking on the whole "who will be in the WWE title match at No Mercy" thing to sell the show. A potential surprise return of Jericho will hopefully generate interest for people to tune into RAW the next night, as well as to see who won the title at the PPV.

Which is odd since they said in an interview they could never use it again because of what they did in that episode. It's actually sorta strange they would just abandon it now but I guess they consider this the exception episode. If not, well I guess the swear dragon is off on vacation. Yea, the Swear Dragon, "Geldon" or whatever his name was, is on vacation with the "Knights of Standards and Practices"

By WWE logic, that means he hasn't been on TV enough. Next week HHH will make a run-in in every match and proceed to bury the entire roster Wrestlecrap.com added this last week:

Cena Injured Tonight (Out 6-12 Months)

As long as they drop the "Pimp My Belt", I will be happy. As much as I would like to see the return of "Brock's Belt", I also wouldn't mind seeing something completely new. Make it happen, WWE! -
This was easily become one of my Top 3 South Park's ever. It seems like a lot of the content was taken from the old tourettesguy.com website, which I'm perfectly fine with. The "To Catch a Predator - with Chriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis Haaaaaaaaaaaaanseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen" stuff was hilarious as well. It was also interesting to see that Trey and Matt have decided to be liberal with their use of "shit" again. The word has been consistently beeped ever since the, "It Hits the Fan" episode.

Cena Injured Tonight (Out 6-12 Months)

This may have been brought up previously, but I would like to see the PPV go down like this: Orton comes out, cuts a promo about taking out the champ, and he deserves to be handed the title. Then the matrix shit shows up on the titantron, then Chris MOTHERFUCKING Jericho makes his return to some nuclear crowd reaction, issues a challenge & fights Orton in a competitive match. Orton gets the upperhand, and goes for his soccer kick. Jericho counters into the Liontamer, not the Walls of Jericho, (for one night only WWE should allow the Liontamer), for the tapout, thus cementing himself as a main eventer. Why not give Jericho a little "sign-on" bonus with a World Title win on his first night back, to capitalize on the crowd pop he will surely receive? Knowing how things are going lately though, Jericho would most likely continue to play the Macho Man to HHH's Hulk Hogan, and drop the title to him the next night on RAW. -
I'm just PISSED that Transformers is going to be HD-DVD / Standard DVD exclusive, and won't be hitting Blu-Ray. Thanks a lot Michael Bay.

I have a feeling, they just won't use Steele for awhile. They may have just used him just for the hell of it, like they do with other wrestlers from promotions from towns the WWE is doing a show in. Or WWE is more worried about taking care of the WWE title. I read somewhere a couple of months ago, maybe on Rajah, or another site, that WWE was curious in starting up it's own version of the X-Division, so the CW title was being phased-out. I don't have a direct source for the news, so take it as speculation, and nothing more. It's just a shame they had to discontinue the CW belt when Noble and Wang Yang were actually more or less feuding over who would get the top contender spot.

Has anyone picked up the new Nightwish yet?

I was rather impressed the first time I watched a Killswitch Engage video. I think it was their video for "Rose of Sharyn" (the one with the badass bleeding trees) and I was rather surprised to see that the vocalist was black. It's something you don't see a lot of in rock. When they were still relative nobody's, they had "Darkness Falls" added to the Freddy vs Jason soundtrack, and I've been hooked ever since. Plus, they did a respectable cover of Holy Diver. The Goo Goo Dolls are pretty good as well. Whatever became of Candlebox? I thought their album with "Far Behind" and "You" was good.

Fire looked kind of weird. Also, when they did a superplex through the 2 flaming tables then went from being in the middle of the ring to up on the top rope. "Teleporting" moves are really nothing new. See The People's Elbow and RVD's Rolling Thunder grapple.

Of all the stupid things that Don West does, I marked the fuck out during this match. At the time, I had never seen an announcer get so into a match that he stood on the table, leading the fans to cheer for Red during that beating. A great moment in early TNA.

Cena Injured Tonight (Out 6-12 Months)
haws bah gawd replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in The WWE Folder
I don't want to wish an injury on anyone. I've been ready for a LONG time for Cena to drop the belt, just so we can go back to having an actual title belt, and not Cena's "Pimp my Belt". I would rather it not be Orton that gets to end Cena's near 13-month reign, but WWE has more or less painted themselves into a corner again. What other heel on RAW is ready for a title run? Snitsky? Umaga? (maybe, but they dropped the ball on him at the Rumble) Vince McMahon? SANTINO ? Carlito? Orton is the only heel they have that's primed for a run at the top, if only to be another transitional champion like he was in 2004. They spent all Summer having him "end people's careers" and now is the time to pull the trigger and put him at the top. It's just a shame that after all that build, he will more than likely just drop the title to whomever the top face may be at the next PPV. Another shame is the example that this sets for the other wrestlers. If you openly walk around the back smoking a joint, and shit in peoples gym bags, then YOU TOO may one day reign as champion. -
Paul London has just disgusting agility. I guess Vince has decided to let him be the exclusive user of the move in the company. It was even mentioned in the issue of WWE magazine with Mr. Kennedy on the cover that the move is banned, so kudos to Vince for letting London continue to use it. That whole 6-man tag was great. If they would just do Shelton / Rednecks vs Hardy / Londrick every week for eternity, I would be happy.

Well, at least the Buff Blockbuster/Electric Chair Drop was convincing enough. That looked like death.

AMC does a "Fear Friday" marathon almost every week. It's just a shame that nearly every week all they want to show is "Pinata: Survival Island", or that movie about Sam Neil and Nicole Kidman being stuck on a boat with a serial killer. From time to time though, you will get a good showing of films, but its few and far between.

Spoilers for second two-hour Impact
haws bah gawd replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
So By "Old Sting" does that mean we'll be seeing Sting's odd meshing of his 80's and Crow look again? I'm looking forward to XXX vs LAX. You have 2 guys that could probably take a decent Border Toss or Gringo Killer, and Homicide to bump for XXX's offense. Looks good on paper, and should make for an entertaining Ultimate X. -
I wouldn't mind seeing WWE give Thorne's "Mordecai" character another run. I was starting to warm-up to the character before he got shipped back to OVW in 2004.

I could go for Taker vs Batista for the title again, so long as neither walks away injured......

From Rajah: Looks like CHRIS JERICHO is finally making his return!
-
^^^ Could've been the 2 or 3 weeks that he was active in early January? I don't remember what he accomplished during that time though, aside from the quad tear?

A K-Mart not too far from where I work is selling the Collector's and Legendary Editions of the game, along with the Halo X-Box 360 System.

I actually think Ashley's hot. Agreed. There isn't a person here who wouldn't kill their entire family (is it too soon for a family-killing pun?) for the chance to sleep with Ashley.
