That was pretty good, but IMO, the rematch from Raw the next night blew it out of the water. Benoit made Orton look like a million bucks in the rematch. Whoever was the RAW reporter for TSM at the time put it best the next day: "Tonight, A Star is Born".

The Cheesecake Factory is pretty good. I go to the one in Charlotte, NC about once or twice a year. I've never had an actual meal there though, just the cheesecake.

Is that the Montery Ranch Chicken Sandwich that you're referring to? My girlfriend loves those. I haven't had one in quite sometime, but I preferred the beef version that was offered for a short time.

My favorite buffet at the moment is Souper Salad. My girlfriend and I eat there about twice a week. It's not too expensive, and the food is always good. I also frequent the local Ryan's and Eastern Buffets (Chinese & All-You-Can-Eat Steak).

It's a shame that they got rid of Ariel. That's about the only reason I enjoyed his matches. I'm still not sure why they completely changed his character when he got hurt. The "psycho Jesus freak" character (the name escapes me for some reason) might have gone somewhere had his big rivalry with Undertaker come about. Mordecai Thank you. That was going to bug me. Hell yeah, I used to mark out for Mordecai! I remember one week in 2004 when he cut a promo in his "church" about Eddy Guerrero, teasing a feud with "he who is a lier, cheater, ...............and thief", but the next week or maybe that same week, he jobbed clean to Mysterio and was never seen again. I liked his catchphrase as well, "Hear Me......Fear Me!". Yeah, that was a pretty bad ass gimmick. How come they pulled the plug on it so quick? Was he too green or something? If I remember correctly, the story was he had self-esteem issues and was worried he would mess-up a spot, or hurt someone in the ring, and thus was extra careful in his matches, but Vince decided to send him to OVW because of it. I always commended Kevin Fertig for going that extra mile to ensure a match came off without a hitch and for looking out for the safety of whoever he was in the ring with, but I guess WWE sees things differently (to be honest, yes he was still a little green, but FAR from the worst wrestler on the roster).

One of things we can almost say for certain is bye-bye Kurt Angle. I hope Raven has gotten clean. If some of these other ex WWE guys have to go due to the testing, I'd love to see Raven get another run at the top.

I attended an NWA-Midatlantic show several months ago. One of the funnier things from the show involved former ECW wrestler Chris Hamrick vs Ricky Morton (who looks like HELL). Morton ended up giving Hamrick about 3 or 4 lowblows, back-to-back, while coming up with some rather creative and humorous ways to keep the ref from noticing. One of which involved putting his arm around the refs shoulders, and getting him to look at how big of a turnout they had for the show. When Hamrick tried to come up behind Morton, (while the ref was still "looking at the crowd"), he was mule-kicked in the balls. After the 3rd or 4th lowblow, Hamrick finally fell out of the ring, crawled about half-way back up the entryway, got a mic and screamed "Mr. Referee, I want you to disqualify that guy! He keeps kicking me in the ding-ding!". It got a good response from pretty much everyone there.

I'm just hoping that they touch on the fate of Det. Matthews. Saw II left us on a cliffhanger with him being locked away in the bathroom, and in Saw III, they never directly say that he is dead. John only says that he cleaned-up Amanda's mess. I'd also like to know whatever happened to Dr. Gordon. I always figured at the beginning of Saw II, when the Doctor was shown inserting the key behind the man's eye, they showed the Doctor had a really bad limp, and never showed his face, as a way to work Dr. Gordon back into the series at some point. Some people just dismiss the surgeon as Jigsaw, but I never really noticed Jigsaw walking with a limp. He slumped around due to being so week from his Cancer, but he didn't limp like a guy that had recently cut-off his own foot.

Zzyx Road sounds rather interesting. Tom Sizemore not only has the distinction of being one of the biggest drug addicts in all of Hollywood, but he is also attached to the lowest domestic-grossing film of all time to boot. Good job!

Since we're on the subject of abysmal box offices, I have a couple of questions. What are the biggest bombs of all time when it comes to budget-to-ticket sales, and just low ticket sales in general?

Off topic, but I always figured if Joe had signed with WWE in 2005 instead of TNA, he would've been given the Umaga gimmick instead of Jamal. I was really looking forward to Daniels vs Angle for the X-title, but what we got should be fine. Hopefully they'll allow Lethal to keep the belt for longer than a day this time.

I thought the spot came across fine the way it happened, even though it was a botch. Carlito not being able to give Umaga the Backstabber kind of shows continuity in a lot of the wrestlers having trouble slamming him. Remember, Cena almost always falls on his face everytime he tries to FU him. Does that make any sense?

So is this just a double-dip of the director's cut that is already available, or is there something new added to this aside from the audio commentary and some pointless featurettes? I already have Saw III on blu-ray, so I'll probably pass on this one. The box set looks pretty sweet though.

You're right Cabbageboy, no matter who wins and loses that match, its the fans that lose. However, I'm so sick of Cena being Champion that I'll take Orton winning, just to see something different. I was expecting HHH to destroy the Spinner with his sledgehammer had he won the title at WM22, but we all know how that turned out.

Do you HONESTLY want Cena to retain? After a year of holding that damn belt? As long as it means dropping that spinning thing and the return of this Then sadly enough, I'm all for Orton winning!

I'll be surprised if he's mentioned at all.
