Well done! I got a good laugh out of that.

I along with the rest of you am anticipating just WHAT kind of monster this is supposed to be. I've heard everything from a depiction of Cthulu, to a serpent of sorts. Cthulu would make one interesting movie monster.

I pretty much stopped caring about this show when Major Victory was cut. If only he'd gone on the teary-eyed, ass-kissing, "you remind me of my father, sir!" rant that Feedback did. Stan Lee couldn't have been more full of shit with his reason for the cut, "A super hero isn't supposed to be funny....". Yes, lets kick-off the reason that 95% of your viewers watch this show, and leave on this other guy that is obviously not "mentally stable", due to his crying at every ceremony.

In any game that had Rhyno and Commentary, you would aften hear GORE! GORE! GORE! and Rhyno wouldn't even be involved in the match. Same with any move that Tazz did being called "Tazzmission".

When Was The Last Time You Were Surprised By A Match Finish?
haws bah gawd replied to Chazz's topic in The WWE Folder
WWE had me fooled with the Jeff Hardy vs Undertaker Ladder Match from Raw in 2002. Also, while I kind of had a feeling that Stevie would win this past week (taking into account the surprising amount of offense he was getting-in on Thorn), I was still happy to see Stevie finally get a televised win. I was in attendance and saw him win the dark match against Rene Dupree at December to Dismember, but I honestly cant remember the last time he got a win on TV. -
I seriously don't understand what this guy's problem is. I may get a lot of flack for this, but I think he's an amazing wrestler. His ego, however, is out of control. I think his main problem is that he's good, and he knows it, which gives him his asshole-ish "I'm the best" attitude. That's where a lot of the problem lies. I hope someone in OVW is able to humble him somewhat, because if he can get his attitude under control, he could do some amazing things in the future.

Sorry to go a little off-topic, but in regards to Savage on commentary in the WWF, why was he doing it in the first place? Was he injured at the time, or just trying something new in the company?

Meatloaf has done some amazing stuff. "Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through" is a personal favorite of mine.

Man, Henry was throwing some of the weakest-looking punches EVER at 'Taker before Edge came out. I enjoyed the title change though. You dont see too many of those on free TV.

^^^ I certainly wouldnt mind seeing RVD taking some of his "potato shots" at Vince. What does he have to lose? Shame Kennedy got hurt. I was really, REALLY looking forward to him possibly cashing in his title shot and winning the gold tomorrow. Heres to a speedy recovery.

I hate to beat a dead horse here, but Kanes torso is the most blatantly Photoshopped thing I've ever seen. I love it! -

I for one, never understood the love this board developed for Mark Henry all of a sudden last year. Hopefully this feud never happens. -
With all the developments of the past few episodes, im surprised no one has mentioned this. What other show, but the Shield, would bring us the joy of Vic Mackey and APOLLO CREED kicking ass together?

In regards to those hopeful of Mark Henry returning to the main event. Supposedly he returned at an OVW show a couple weeks back against one of the former Spirit Squad members. The reporter said Henry looked to legitimately be pushing 475-500 lbs, and was barely mobile. My best guess here is if Undertaker is deemed ok for one more match, he drops the belt fairly quickly to either Kennedy or Batista in a match tonight. -
Word is Vince has told Undertaker that he is in for a long run with the belt as long as he can give him a full-time commitment. 'Taker however needs a full hip replacement, so that idea is still up in the air. Looks like you'll see 'Taker back on the house show scene soon.

I loved the ending to tonight's episode with Kavanaugh finally getting locked away. Plus seeing Kavanaugh get owned by Claudette while she interogatted Amolia was wonderful. I expected the spat between Vic and Kavanaugh to come to blows, but just seeing him quietly locked away and shamed in front of the barn was fine. I can't wait for next weeks episode.

OAO WrestleMania 23 Thread-April 1st, 2007

Batista was hyping his match against Undertaker to SI.com. He said his match with Undertaker will be compared to Steamboat vs Savage, and they are going to tear the house down. Wow, think Batista has been holding back some untapped technical prowess all these years? </sarcasm>I know Taker is more than capable of producing an exceptional MMA style match, but I'm not so sure about Batista. Unless they went the Hogan/Warrior route, and have been rehearsing this match for the past 6 months, I dont see it going over ***. -
Does anyone have a screencap of Team 3-D in the ring with all their tag titles? I missed the show and would love to see this.

Im gonna give Fall Out Boy my vote for now. The chorus to their current single, something about an arms race, makes my head hurt.

I've been rather fond of this album by prog-rock group Kamelot called "The Black Halo", ever since I picked it up late last year. Their singer has one of the widest vocal ranges I've ever heard from a male.

From a 10 year old mark's perspective, Savage and Sherri vs Rhodes and Sapphire was a fun match. I'll put my worst in this order: 1. Goldberg vs Brock - stall - punch - stall - kick - stall - finisher. The only positive to this match was the NUCLEAR crowd heat. 2. Undertaker vs Giant Gonzales 3. Undertaker vs Bossman - I did enjoy the hanging stunt with the Brood at the end, but the match itself was horrid. 4. John Cena vs HHH - I don't know who dediced this was a good match, but everyone who was over here watching it was begging for it to end. 5. Jake Roberts vs Rick Rude from WMIV was pretty bad.

This may have already been mentioned in this thread, and I may not even be referring to the correct MLB game, but what is the name of the Nirvana song that plays in the commercial for this?

On a personal note, I would like to see Punk win MitB. I think it would kick all sorts of ass to see Lashley squeak out a win over Umaga. Then while hes celebrating the victory of his "hard-fought, overcoming-the-odds" match, Punk comes out, immediately cashes-in his title shot, and one GO TO SLEEP later, wins the ECW belt. It would be perhaps a little too similar to the Edge/Cena situation from NYR 2006, bit I would still like to see it.
