People can't get past that whole "it's fake" thing. I still get asked how I can sit there and watch 2 guys pretend to beat eachother up. My girlfriend and I were watching wrestling at some point at my Grandma's house last weekend. My Grandma's neighbor, who visits often, walked in and said "You two know its fake, right?". That's got to be the most irritating thing to be asked when I'm sitting there trying to enjoy a match.

Vince McMahon announces he has bought WCW You know, as much as this angle completely bombed, you dont know what I would've given to NOT know WCW was bought out by McMahon. Shame I had already read about this on the internet. WCW had hyped the week before that Bischoff would be there. I wonder what would've went through my mind to see VINCE MCMAHON on Nitro, not knowing he would be there?

Truth be told Anya, selling that 10% card is what keeps you employed at a Gamestop or EB. You have a quote that you have to sell every week, and if you fail to meet your quote over a certain period of time, your employment is as good as gone. That or the manager will cut your hours to the point that you have no choice but to leave on your own. I hated having to whore them off as much as you hate having to hear about it, but its part of the job.

I'm calling it right now, having not read any spoilers. The "Doctor" that was trying to inject the "cure" into Warren Worthington will end up being Apocalypse. There was a similar plot to this in the 90's animated series. But yea, you would think Rogue would be one of the most willing to give up her powers since she is basically a living leech.

Suikodens for 2 dollars? How much was the store selling it for used? I feel bad for anyone who traded Suikoden 1 or 2 into Gameshop for 2 dollars store credit. I sold Suikoden 1, Suikoden 2, plus the strategy guides for each one last year on ebay and I got 80-100 dollars for each one. Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear anough. I meant the Suikodens and such were the only games to get a higher trade-in than the normal $.25-$2.00. Last I checked Suikoden pulled about $15 and sell for $39.99, and Suikoden II would fetch around $20 and sell for $49.99. Still a fucking ripoff for Part 2 which usually sells for around $80-120 on eBay.

The Gamestop I used to work at was constantly having to shift-around inventory to make room for the massive shipments of Matrix 1 2 and 3 DVDs that were shipped to the store. We must've had 40-50 copies of each. Most of the PSX games with the exception of the Lunars, Suikodens, and various other RPGs would only get $.25-$2.00 trade-in credit anyways.

From what I've read, we'll see the ECW guys working the attitude-era WWF Hardcore style. Which means cookie sheets and trash cans for everyone! I just have to wonder why WWE will be taping ECW BEFORE Smackdown? Especially given how shitty Smackdown has been as of late, the production crew will be doing some overtime editing-out the E-C-DUB chants that will surely be shouted by the crowd throughout the show.

At the Cingular kiosk I work at, we have marketing adds up advertising some Da Vinci Code game you can play on your phone or something like that. Anyways when I came in today, I got a call from upper management saying all the signs had to be taken down and destroyed because we've been getting calls from customers who are offended by the movie/book.

There was no better thank you that WWE could've given Benoit for all his hard work over the years than to have him make the biggest heel in the company TAP OUT, cleanly, in the middle of the ring at the main event of the biggest show of the year. Sure he could've beaten Brock on a syndicated wrestling show, but I just don't think it would've been as special as making HHH tap at Wrestlemania. Don't get me wrong. Benoit vs Brock was a damn good television World title match, but the right man went over, at the time, in Brock. Eddy got his big win at No Way Out, and his thank you/congrats for his determination in beating his drug and alcohol abuse problems. They both won their respective world titles at the perfect time.

I agree about JBL. After seeing him get destroyed by Boogeyman at the Rumble, he has little-no crediblity to be a World Champion, but losing to the consistently buried Rey Mysterio will only make him look worse. Its almost a no-win situation.

Their review of Game Informer was pretty funny. I'm not a big fan of having to shill the magazine, but its part of the job so what can you do? I also find the little nicknames the reviewers give themselves to be some of the dumbest drivel I have ever read, but that one reviewer Lisa is kind of hot.

All the while, Shiavonne was trying to put over what class-acts Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash were because they were going to 'stay with the script' but improv a new finish. Thats gold. I'll put my vote for Worst of all time towards Great American Bash 2004. I'll be honest, me and a friend were HUGE Mordecai fans, and bought the ppv just to see him. Could've cared less about Paul Bearer being killed-off, but it was strange seeing the Dudleys work the main event of a ppv. Not only that, but their handicap match with Undertaker was put on AFTER the JBL vs Eddie World Title match.

I didnt go-off on the customer, but I did visibly shake my head at their blatant ignorance. Working with Cingular, or any mobile phone company is always fun for all the wrong reasons. So, I work at a kiosk in a Mall. This kiosk is bright orange, and has not only Cingular written all over it, but the are ugly orange "jack men" everywhere to be seen. You wouldn't be surprised how many people will walk up to me and ask "Yea, where is the Cingular store in here?". I was once asked this 3 times in the same shift. So, when the 3rd person in the same day asked me this same question, I told him it was at the other end of the mall on the 3rd floor next to the entrance to the movie theatre (the mall has neither). Never saw the person again that day. Sure, he may have wanted to buy something, but if youre that plain stupid, I dont need to be dealing with you. Then there are the other ignorant fucks that always ask "Is this a Verizon/Sprint/T-Mobile/Altell booth?" Open your eyes people! Look around before you open your mouth and make an ass out of yourself.
