The rest of the card sounds entertaining but you'll have to forgive me for not being too excited about Scott Steiner vs Buff Bagwell.

Stone Cold vs Mankind vs Triple H for the WWF Title Summerslam 1999 Austin's performance is visibly starting to suffer from his neck injury around this time, but HHH and Mankind bust their fucking asses to work a good match here. I miss HHH's "My Time" theme, but "King of Kings" is good enough. HHH's entrance without the water spit we're so used to is kind of odd, but the chainmail he wore was badass.

I'm more surprised to see that Jeff FUCKING Daniels is in R.V. I seriously thought he was dead. Haven't heard of a movie from him in ages.

God, I used to love when Sting would do that. At first he would use his baseball bat to lay waste to the nWo, but after a while, I think it was Hogan who started questioning his manhood and said something like he was hiding behind his weapon. So, one night, Sting came to the ring when Giant and Luger were being attacked. Sting got in the ring, pointed his bat at the nWo, then pointed at the fans. The place was going absolutely INSANE at this point. Then Sting did the unthinkable, dropped his bat to the outside of the ring, and destroyed the entire nWo with his bare hands! I miss those days. Sting had some of the best and stiffest looking punches of anyone in North America at the time.

If you're talking about Dennis Stamp, he's sort of a cult hero over at the Wrestlecrap message boards. He was a close friend of Terry Funk and had a somewhat big role in the Beyond the Mat movie. Funk wanted Stamp to referee his 'retirement' match against Bret Hart, but Stamp didn't want to do it at first because 'he wasn't booked', and was just ASKED by Funk. His story was he wrestled a couple thousand matches over his career, but was never in the main event. They show him jumping on a trampoline wearing a speedo because "he has to keep himself in ring-shape because he never knows when his phone is going to ring with someone asking him to come wrestle". Keep in mind, the guy is in his mid-50's or so, and just really can't let go of his past in wrestling. He eventually decides to referee the Funk/Hart match becuase it will be his first spotlight in the main event of a show. He has a really sad and depressing story in the movie, but the guys at the Crap love him.

As far as I know, Estrada is a manager only, and is NOT trained for in-ring physicality. Edit: I have been corrected. Apparently Estrada CAN wrestle. I thought I remembered reading at some point that we wasn't a trained wrestler and was a manager only.

Mikey is apparently Mike Mondo. Mitch, I have never heard of. Edit: Beat me to it. Also, Nicky was Chavo "Kerwin White" Guerrero's caddy last summer right?

I always thought it was pretty obvious. I always heard, "I've had enough.. with the nWo... the fight is on!" That's the part I could never understand. Sorry I wasn't clearer before. Thanks for the info!

Joey Styles' "Shoot" from Last Night I didn't look through the other 13 pages to see if this was already posted, but here it is for those that missed it.

Low Ki vs Essa Rios Not a bad match, though extremely short. Low Ki working WWE style is so ackward to watch, though he does kick the shit out of Essa a few times. Instead of talking about whats going on in the ring, Coach and Hayes are too busy talking about the upcoming gimmick battle royal for Wrestlemania X-7. Essa Rios does some pretty insane stuff in the match too.

Yea, Butters find out his Dad is going to gay bathhouses, then goes to tell his mom he saw his dad 'wrestling' and took pictures. So, his Mom tries to kill him so that he won't have to be exposed to his Dad anymore. She and Butters's dad make up a story that Butters was killed by 'a Mexican', so OJ Simpson, Gary Condit, and the Ramsey's come to South Park because they lost loved ones to the same 'Mexican'. It's a brilliant episode. At the end when Butters turns up alive, his Dad goes in front of the town and confesses that they tried to kill him. He then goes on a rant saying things on the line of; "It felt as though the whole town was looking at me saying WHY DONT YOU JUST CONFESS? EVERYONE KNOWS YOU DID IT! YOU LIAR!", all the while the camera focuses on Condit, OJ, and the Ramseys when he says each comment. Funny shit.

nice guarantee there. lmao Not everybody can be as confident with their guarantees as Jingus when he says there is ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY no way that WWE would EVER put Cena against RVD at One Night Stand. The people here are clairvoyant. Hey, I do what I can So, did John Cena get his usual crowd response (kids and girls cheering, and guys shitting all over him)? -
Credit Lords of Pain Again I say, fuck Mark Henry. He injures Batista to the point he has to forfeit the world title, now he's injured Angle and taken him out of the KotR tourney, and out of WWE for who knows how long. At least now maybe Angle can heal some of his nagging injuries.

"The Flight that Fought Back" was the A&E movie right? Or was it on TLC? It was quite a depressing flick but I marked the fuck out like it was Rock vs Hogan all over again when the passengers rushed the cockpit and beat the shit out of one of the hijackers before they decided to crash the plane.

Game Informer has a knack for being completely full of it's own shit sometimes, so I'm not 100% sure that I want to believe it just yet. If it does turn out to be true, it will greatly influence my decision to shell out ungodly amounts of cash to buy a PS3.

God this is going to be beautiful. Seeing a couple thousand ECW fans verbally destroying is going to be something talked about for a long long time to come.

Who could forget JR repeatedly getting Benoit and Jericho confused?

I have to say I'm shocked. I fully expected Flight 93 hit some ungodly opening week box office.

Two teens beat another one to near death...

I fully expect the two guys that did this to end up in counseling and serve next to no jail time. I'll have to steal a line from George Carlin in regards to this one. If you need counseling to be taught that you dont need to go around trying to shove a large cumbersome object up someone's asshole, youre probably a little too fucked up to be a free member of society. I say throw the guys in prison for life. There's no sense in what they did to that poor guy. Now, I will agree with the rest of you in that, IF the guy was trying to rape the girl, he got everything he deserved, and got off easy. -
Christ. Dumbass WWE got rid of the guy because he started to suck as a commentator. So they hired Joey Styles. A guy that actually knows the names of some of the moves and doesn't call everything a "hard shot", "inovative move", or "knock down". Joey actually calls the match and explains what is going on in the ring, but Vince regrets hiring him because he DOES HIS JOB and doesn't spend the match hyping the main event for the next PPV, or how much of a bastard HHH is. So, he has him completely change his style of announcing, and as a result, his performance somewhat suffers. Through it all, Joey is still leaps and bounds above the other commentators. I guess they have to bring back JR because afterall, whats the point of doing shows in Oaklahoma if they cant do the traditional humiliation of the hometown guy in some way or another? Brilliant move Vince, oh and fuck you by the way.

I didn't catch the Village spoof. Could you elaborate?

I can guarantee RVD will not be walking out with the IC belt but will keep the MitB by DQ. There's no sense in WWE taking the IC belt off Shelton yet, and there would be no point to ONS if RVD wasnt challenging for the gold after all the hints he's been dropping, and the now-confirmed ONS poster. -
A wrestler and fan talking trash back and forth to eachother is perfectly acceptable, but I don't think there should be any physicality involved.
