I'm a huge fan of Lunar : Silver Star Story & Lunar : Eternal Blue. If there ever was a third Lunar game, Working Designs would be the only right company for publishing it. With the failure of the last two Lunar releases on GBA and DS, the chances to see a proper sequel to Eternal Blue are slim to none. That royally sucks. It's been far too long since we have seen Ghaleon...

I just found Beyond Good & Evil and Panzer Dragoon Orta for just $22, so hooray for me. If only I can finish Dragon Warrior VII......I started my game maybe 2 1/2 months ago, 85 hours into it and I'm still on the first CD. That game is freakin' long, but it's still enjoyable. I cleaned my closet a few days ago and found old Nintendo Power Magazines from 1989 to the launch of the SNES. All hail Nester !

If this story was real, I could see Triple H's reaction to be just like Coffey's avatar.

HHH and Stephanie having a demon child is inevitable. How old are they anyway ? I know H is in his mid-thirdies, but how old is Steph ? Edit : And Shane too. His hair is beginning to turn grey, but I don't see him being past 36

I always liked Summerslam 2001. Apart from the Taker/Kane vs DDP/Kanyon debacle, it was a great PPV with solid matches, including the incredible Austin vs Angle match. Of course, it was when there was still a faint hope for the Invasion angle.

That thread is pure genius.

Here's a question : when you see a generic wrestling promo pic where the guy points his finger, like this : What the hell are they pointing to ?

I just watched the 2004 Rumble and wanted to start a topic about his Rumble victory. No point to start another thread so i'll just use this one. What if Chris Benoit hadn't made the jump from Smackdown to Raw in the beginning of 2004 ? He made Brock tap out at Survivor Series and lost to him in a title shot a few weeks later. He was right in the middle of a feud with Paul Heyman because after his lost to Lesnar, Heyman said that Benoit would never get another title shot and put him #1 entry in the Rumble. Logic would say that, after his Rumble victory, Benoit would go against Lesnar and Heyman and win the tile at Wrestlemania XX, instead we got the triple threat with Triple H and Michaels. So what if Chris Benoit hadn't made the jump to Raw ? Would Smackdown be in a better shape that it was in Spring 2004 ? Would Guerrero and JBL have been main-eventers ? On the Raw side, would the main-event at Wrestlemania still have been HHH-Michaels part 33 ?

Looks like Judd will piss on whoever goes on to the final two. Scumbags.

When I was younger, I couldn't find a copy of Dragon Warrior IV anywhere. I think I was the only one to rent it at a video store, so it always had my saved file on it. Seeing all the games named in this topic makes me want to plug in my NES again. Now those were the days

Stupidest/Worst/Most Offensive Smackdown (Special)
10 Pounds replied to Fuzzy Dunlop's topic in The WWE Folder
I first read A.C Dollar's post and thought it was just another poster playing a gimmick. I'm going to this thread and that stuff actually happened ! Wow, it's just so stupid, how can anybody write this shit and say "Wow, now that's entertainment !" ? I'd be offended if I'd care, but I stopped caring a long time ago. -
I remember them signing the Quebecers for a short stint, maybe in 1996 or 1997, putting them with Col. Robert Parker and doing nothing with them. Sucks because I was a huge Quebercers mark when I was young. How about DJ Ran ?

I bought the game last week and I'm seriously considering selling it on eBay. I enjoyed other smackdowns like SYM or HCTP, but this one just pisses me off. The AI is cheap. The only way I enjoy playing a tag match is when I'm with a friend, otherwise my partner, or me because of the illegal man on the opposing team, always get counted out. This sucks when playing season mode. During elimination chambers, the wrestlers, regardless of who they are, will always climb up the cage and jump off the top of the chamber. Making somebody tap out or putting someone in the casket is naerly impossible, I'm mashing the buttons like a madman but can never make it halfway through the bar. CAW is disappointing. There is no original music at all besides the ones used for the menus. You have to start with a weak-ass character that gets thrown immediately into the main-events, how can we beat Triple H with a guy who only is 40 overall ? I didn't played GM mode and I don't have any intentions of doing so since it appears that it's totally random. Nice graphics and entrances are nice, but they don't make a game. EDIT : Sorry if my post looks too GameFaqs-like......but man, I feel like I wasted 50 bucks.

Man, the prices on eBay are absolutely crazy. I can't believe that somebody would pay over $1000 just for a console. There are even auctions that are over $3 000 ! How stupid one must be to pay 6 times the regular price ? Hell, I'll be the first to pre-order a PS3 or two when it comes out. I'll make enough money to pay the rest of my car.

Video Games that make you think of Eddie Guerrero
10 Pounds replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Video Games
I think Eddie's death sucks as much as everyone else, but come on......threads about music, movies and games about Guerrero ? I don't know if it's a joke thread, but apart from the wrestling games he was in, I don't know how games and Eddie are related in any kind of way. -
I don't know...I think the chair shot explaination would have been worse. First of all, Ken Kennedy would have been absolutely crushed. There would probably be a serious backlash against the business 'cause the chairshot, while totally unnecessary, is a move used very often in wrestling. You can imagine all the controversy it would have caused. It's natural that his heart wasn't as good as before because of his addictions, drugs are going to do that kind of damage to your body. It's just like lung cancer for chain smokers. Even though a person have been totally sober for a long period of time like Eddie was, the damage taken in the past remains there.

I'm feeling the same way as I did for Owen's death. You go on the internet and read all the posts and tributes about Eddie, you're saying yourself there no way that he is dead. It's impossible, it's unrealistic. But I guess the feeling will sink in with tonight's show. I was nearly in tears when Raw is Owen began, just seeing all the wrestlers and employees crying. Many people said in the other thread that you feel like you lost a friend, even though you have never met him outside of his TV persona. Just like Owen, I grew up watching Eddie, it just felt natural to see him every week. For all the praise and criticising we give them, the wreslers take a part of your life for two hours each weeks. You always expect them to be there each week. However, we tend to forget sometimes they are real people. It's just sucks to see someone go at this age. Nobody should die this young, especially those who came back from so far and are finally enjoying life after the hardships they've been through.

Like everybody, I'm shocked, this hits hard. Just like Candido, Guerrero had beaten his demons and got back on the good track. It's just not fair that things like that happens to those who have the courage to get their lives back on track. It must really be hard for his family and friends, they supported Guerrero through the good and bad times and to see him go way too soon...... Thank you Eddie for all you have done. There are plenty of good memories to remember you for.

A quick search and I found these on this site

Woohoo ! I'm picking up the Beavis & BUTT-Dead set, Futurama and Simpsons season 3 sets along with the Bret and Jake DVD. All that for a little less than a hundred bucks. Thanks for the info

Even though the FF is not my favorite RPG series, Final Fantasy VI is the best RPG I ever played. Everything in this game is perfect : the story, the characters, the music ( best soundtrack ever, IMO ) and that incredible ending. I was totally surprised by the World of Balance ending where . And to continue the trend of ranking the games : VI IV VII IX X Those I didn't like : VIII - Don't have a problem with the leveling system, it's just that the game focused only on Squall and Rinoa. All the other characters are useless I - I'm more of a Dragon Warrior fan. X-2 - Ugh......well, I like the job system, but everything else is just so awful. It is one those rare cases where I didn't even bothered finishing the game since I was just so bored by revisiting the same locations.

The time when the nWo beat on Ric Flair for nearly half an hour. A cameo from this guy of The Young and the Restless backstage with Kidman at Survivor Series 2002. The "I'm BIZZZAAARRRRRE !" line from the British Bulldog. More of a markout moment than a WTF moment : seeing Tommy Dreamer and Rob Van Dam jump the rail on the "ECW reunion" Raw.

I have this Raw on tape. The heat for this promo is incredible.

Wow. Big thanks to ChrisMWaters for the 24/7 code. That thing is a goldmine. War Games, Flair vs Perfect, classic moments like the Arn Anderson retirement speech and the return of the horseman......Man, it's gonna be hard to find the time to see all the good stuff.

The match will probably end with an Angle interference. About saving the match for a PPV, I agree. Although it's not like PPVs, except for the big ones, serve any real purpose anymore. I think all the matches that took place at Unforgiven, safe for Michaels-Masters, have been done on Raw in the following weeks. Why pay $35 for a PPV when there's a strong possibility that there will be rematches within the next few weeks or the main-event will have a bullshit finish just to set up the rematch the following month ?
