Did a little bit of fooling around YouTube and found a video of what seems like Are the mods and custom songs exclusives to the XB360 version of Guitar Hero, which people can download on XBox Live ?

Who do you want to win the WWE Championship Match at SummerSlam?
10 Pounds replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in The WWE Folder
The only reason Orton would be booked to win at Summerslam is for Triple H's eleventh reign. I'll choose Cena over Orton any day. Yeah, Cena does lame jokes and is directed to kids and girls but I'll take his Rock-lite promos and shitty STF over Orton's 3-minutes chinlocks and "I am Randy Or-ton the legend killer and this is my destiny. Why ? Because I'm Randy Orton." promos. Cena is a much better PR representative of the company than Orton could ever be. As for who would end Cena's superman reign, who knows ? He's like the face equivalent of Hogan '96-'98 and HHH '02-'03. They have booked him over the last three years to be the only man at the top of the mountain and there is no one remotely even close to be as much as a draw as him. If Cena would lose the title, it would be in a screwy fashion and the other guy would only be a transitional champion. It's like Hogan in the 80's but without a Randy Savage, there isn't a secondary player that would do good business while Cena isn't there and it always be that way unless the booking changes. Until there is another hope in the horizon, and so far there isn't, Cena's the best way to go as the champ. -
WWE General Discussion for July 2007

The top 10 doesn't exist, it's just an excuse for us to see the video and participate in the contest. Along with "Eddie Guerrero Tribute" as a "classy moment", there was a Woman mention in the "famous couples" category. There are some moves that we never see in the WWE and the average fan wouldn't know of, like Blizzard suplex (what the hell is that ?) and Turnbuckle Bomb. I game over'd at "Bundy squashes Little Beaver" when I wasted three turns thinking I've mispelled "Bundy splashes Little Beaver". Boo-urns. -
I bought a BFG GeForce 7900 GT. I've heard of Company of Heroes, I absolutely suck at RTS but it looks interesting. I was also recommended Neverwinter Nights. I'm so far behind times when it comes to PC gaming that I never even played Diablo II. I used to play a lot of Half-Life and its mods but I stopped playing PC games when the PS2 came out. The last game I bought was Planescape Torment in 2000 and, even if critics say it is one of the best PC RPG of all-time, I barely played it. A friend showed me Oblivion a few weeks back and made me play the sewers area, I was hooked.

Same here. I remember Superbrawl showing up a few days after the Wednesday update, so maybe it will be the same for GAB '90. There must be a law forbidding Cogeco to air any 2007 footage. According to them, the footage they air come from a list from WWE. I've emailed WWE three times since the last couple of months, I didn't got any reply. On another subject, Survivor Series '93 has one of my earliest memories of wrestling with the Undertaker/Yokozuna bits, where Taker does the zombie situp after taking a Bonzai Drop and no selling his face being smashed into the stairs and doing the same to Yokozuna....man I thought Taker was INVINCIBLE. Nobody got up from the Bonzai drop and this guy did it like it was nothing. I remember the Yoko/Taker buildup from Rumble '94 where Yokozuna was afraid of caskets and sweated buckets whenever Taker was around. Good memories

WWE General Discussion for July 2007

A little time waster here : http://wwegame.kp9.net/ Scored 894, not worth playing twice though.... -
I bought a new graphic card for my computer since the one I had wasn't even good to begin with. I'm not that much of a PC gamer but there are several games that look awesome like Half-Life 2, Oblivion and Civilization IV. Any other suggestions ?

For restaurants, try Les 3 Brasseurs , they have all sorts of beers and alcoholic breverages along with grills, chicken, burgers and other stuff. You can't really go wrong with the restaurants on Crescent or St-Denis street but they're for the most a bit expensive. There's Ste-Catherine st. , one of the biggest street of the city, where there is plenty of stores so you should take a walk on it. However, if you walk towards East too much, you'll end up in the Gay Village....not that there's anything wrong with that. As for strip clubs, I can't say since I've only been to one in Montreal. They're not too hard to find as there is always one or two guys standing in front of the clubs trying to get you in. There is also a casino and an amusement park near the Jacques-Cartier bridge. Try to take the subway for most of your travels. All Montreal's drivers are complete assholes who will cut you and cross a street on a red light. Not to mention that it's practically impossible to find a parking spot in the downtown area and there is always a festival of some sorts all summer long, so some streets are closed. Plenty of people speak english but you should bring an English-to-French dictionary just in case, as all of the road panels are in French.

I too have Chris Benoit in my MNW preview. I didn't checked if he was on Nitro though. Maybe they will keep showing Benoit if he's part of a big match or main-event like, let's say, a 6-man tag with the Horsemen vs the nWo or if he's part of a wild brawl to close the show. Benoit will be there if they can't erase him without completely screwing up the show, the matches and promos that are meaningless won't be shown since they want keep his presence to a minimum. ....Or maybe it's just a screw-up that willl be taken care of in a few hours and Benoit was never on the show to begin with.

I know I'm late for saying it, but the Ted DiBiase "You're watching WWE 24/7" clip is totally awesome. The dollar signs in his eyes, the moves hitting right on cue with his music, the cackle. Ted was so great. Finished watching the MNW......man, looks like we won't see Shawn Michaels ever again. Can't wait for next show where Bret goes ballistic. I don't think I will ever tire of seeing the Nation of Domination entrance. I always wondered who were the random dudes accompanying the Nation. There was fat-D'lo, Clarence Mason and PG-13 but I don't recognize the rest of the group, which disappeared when Faarooq did his "You're ass is fired" promo after King of the Ring. Did they ever explained why Clarence Mason left Owen & Bulldog for the Nation ? Seems like he was managing them just last month. I got an answer from Cogeco about the missing shows since May and, according to them, *cues Snitsky's music, Duh-Duh Duh* it's not their fault. They receive a list every Tuesday from WWE for the midnight update, the Legends roundtable and the newer PPVs don't figure on their list. They say that even though WWE post these shows as an update on their website, it's mostly for the American consumers and these shows are not necessarily availlable for the Canadian audience. I've sent a email to WWE but only got their automatic reply. How did the full updates suddenly stopped since May ? That's must be punishement for us not letting go of SS 97.

I like Tommy Young, the way he would kick the arm of someone holding the ropes during a sumbmiision maneuver, that's something you don't see anymore. I generally like referees who won't take shit from anybody, the ones who pushes back when being shoved, etc... Exception to the rule is Bill Alfonzo, right down the middle daddy !

Slowly but surely, ECW and MNW showed up this morning. Still don't have the legends rountable or WM 23 but it's not that big of a deal since I taped the PPV when I ordered it. However, I didn't get the recent PPVs for two months in a row. Next month is Backlash, I hope that Cogeco will get their shit together by this time since I heard this show was pretty good. Has there been any choices for the PYBO for next month ? I always wanted to see Summerslam '97 since, when it originally aired, I skipped over it because I was saving money for a Nintendo 64 and it pissed me off to no end at the time. So go Summerslam '97 !

Only have a new Prime Time and two Dusty matches and that's it. I basically got nothing in my menus. TV : Prime Time, the NWA and WCCW shows. Big Ones : GAB and a MSG show Legends : The Dusty stuff and Hacksaw video. - I know they don't want to show Benoit as much as they can, but it's not like you can erase him completely from History and pretend he never existed. Does that mean that there won't be anymore Horsemen, the best-of-seven series never happened and there will be gaps between championship reigns because the tiltle was "vacant" ? Wrestlemania XX was the blow-off between Shawn Michaels and HHH, there were only three Radicalz ? - Save from the Tower of Doom, the Great American Bash was a really good show from top to bottom. The style of wresltling was so different than what we see in the old 1985 shows, where something like a flying forearm or an armbar could finish a match. How and when did the style change ? Was the slower pace used only in squash matches and, for the marquee matches, they went full throttle ? - Speaking of this week NWA show....Big Mama....uck, her boob job makes Chyna's look like a masterpiece of modern science.

Mr. McMahon "dead" - Now for the "whodunit" angle.
10 Pounds replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
I saw a Jacques Rougeau interview last week during the Benoit media coverage and he said he had recieved an offer two weeks before the incident to reprise an old character for an angle. He refused. We could have had the return of the f'n Mountie ! -
They have pulled out ECW and MNW, which absolutely sucks since I didn't had the time to watch ECW and only saw Nitro. I skipped over the Benoit segments anyway, it was just wrong seeing him along woth Woman in his arms. I never have the time to watch all the new shows when they first come out. I can only watch them bit-by-bit and, most of the time, finish them the last day before the update. There is still no roundtables, which isn't surprising since I didn't get a single show since the new season. Still, I have a f'n Hacksaw Coliseum video....Superstars and Stripes forever all July long ! I've sent an e-mail to WWE and my cable company. I love 24/7 but when you pay 10 $ a month for a channel, the least you can expect from them is complete service.

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
10 Pounds replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
Seconded. Wait until the final report gets out to pay tribute to/damn the name of Benoit. No police investigation is done and finalized in less than a day, this isn't 24. There's still plenty of time until the end of the investigation and the revelation of the final cause of death. Even if Benoit killed his own family, an act of unspeakable terror and cowardice, he won't pass from IWC God to IWC's Lucifer and the-One-whose-name-must-never-be-pronounced-again. Hell, most of the people here would mark out if the glass would break on Raw and Stone Cold would come out....and he's a convicted wife-beater. Like someone already said, most of the people in the wrestling business are scumbags of the highest order. Is it shocking that Chris Benoit, who was in IWC Sainthood along with Owen Hart, Brian Pillman and Eddy Guerrero, since day one would do such an act ? Absolutely, no one could have ever predicted it. However, how bad must the situation have been to push a man to do a horrible thing like murdering his family ? That could be something we could never know. Let's not be too hasty to judge. -
Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
10 Pounds replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
Like all others, I'm totally in shock. Totally unreal. Let's forget about the timing of this event and the McMahon angle shit, this is a husband and a father, alongside his wife and son....an entire family gone. I won't speculate about the cause of death, but I truly hope this isn't a murder/suicide thing. R.I.P Chris and Nancy, thank you for the memories and God bless. Gone way too soon. -
I was more perplexed by the giant yellow duck, how did that thing came down in the sewers ? I used to have some Batman Returns toys when it came out and I had a set of two penguins with missles....I always thought that they had some sorts of helmets that controlled their brains or something like this. Personnally, the stupidest thing in a Batman movie was at the beginning of Batman & Robin, where Arnold conducts his choir of goons into signing an ice-cream jingle (I could be wrong since it's been a while since I last saw the movie).....don't they have anything better to do ? The old Batman movie from the sixties doesn't count since that thing is pure comedic genius. Batman: [reading a riddle] What has yellow skin and writes? Robin: A ball-point banana! Batman: [reads the second riddle] What people are always in a hurry? Robin: Rushing people... Russians! Batman: So this means... Robin: Someone Russian is going to slip on a banana and break their neck! Batman: Precisely, Robin!

No Way Out '07 is supposed to be there ? My "Big Ones" section has a 1981 MSG show and Survivor Series '02 in two parts, there's no NWO. Are they going to air Thursday Raw Thursday ?

Mr. McMahon "dead" - Now for the "whodunit" angle.
10 Pounds replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
It was Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, trying to revitalize their VKM feud and try to get TNA some visibility. -
It's been a little more than a year but, thanks to Dr. Andrews, God came back from a broken neck injury and we'll see the blowoff of the Vince/God feud. Plus, if there ever was a real Vince McMahon execution, you just know you'll have to fork $39.99 to see it. I always thought that the Mr.McMahon character would end with Vince going to an asylum. The angle is a bit surreal because how can you fake a death ? Doing a "serious" tribute show, with the VKM bandages, the 10-bell salute and the heartfelt comments from the wrestlers is just wrong and, on the other hand, you can't simply have a 3-minutes tribute video on Smackdown followed by Michael Cole saying "Up next, the Miz takes the Masterlock Challenge, don't you dare go away !". However, it did it's purpose and caught my attention. It was the first Raw I've watched in a long time and I'll watch it again next week, just to see where they're going with this angle.
-
I remember a Sid interveiw from a few years back where his idea of his big return storyline would be regaining the belt in his first match, have a long reign with it and "passing the torch" to a young guy. If he still wants to do that same angle, I don't think we will see him any time soon in WWE. I like Sid when he was with/against Michaels. However, the last time I saw him on TV was when he was doing the Millenium Man angle, only a few month after Jericho's debut in the WWF, and his feud with Goldberg where he had his own streak of one hundred-something and 0. I found him horrible at that time, I don't see how good he would be as a full-time wrestler 8 years older and a busted leg. That being said, I'd still like to see him in a short angle or a special appereance on Raw. I just hope he won't "Vader-ize" his come back.

A funny thing I never noticed before : at the end of Bloodsport in the Barely Legal main event : Funk and Dreamer are celebrating in the crowd, Dreamer goes to hug Funk and accidently punches a woman in a bWo shirt square in the face. And how about the debut of Devon Storm/Crowbar as part of "The Extreme", complete with blonde hair and jobber outfit ?

ECW and Primetime are the only new shows for me this week. No big ones or legends update.
