havin watched WrestleMania IV today, i'm going to add; every match on that show apart from Steamboat/Valentine, Savage/Valentine, Strike Force/Demolition, and Savage/Dibiase. what a crappy PPV, and it went on forever, too.
-
that only lasted about 4 minutes though, not nearly as boring as something like HIAC between HHH and HBK which dragged on and on for about 50.
-
with the UK PPV situation, we've only had to pay for; Royal Rumble - which i didn't buy cos i was away at the time and didnt want to put down 15 notes for a show which i could only get to watch 2 weeks later when i would already know spoilers. Backlash - bought it, Foley convinced me with a promo he cut a week or 2 before the PPV on RAW. he went real psychotic and i knew he'd be pulling out some sick shit in the Orton match. Great American Bash - didn't buy cos there were exactly zero matches i was interested in. Vengeance - bought it cos i like HHH and i really like Benoit and wanted to see their first singles match in nearly 4 years. Survivor Series - unsure as to whether or not to buy. leaning towards not, but if we get an Evolution and another heel v. Orton, Benoit, 2 other faces elimination match then i probably will. Armageddon - don't even know which show is putting this PPV on, therefore no idea whether i'll get it or not.

when Angle 'interviewed' Rock (playing old clips of Rock answers) about the running over of austin. Kurt: what's your opinion of Steve Austin? Rock: well sure he's a piece of monkeycrap, and a jabroni. Angle: when you saw what happened to Austin, what did you think? Rock: The Rock thought 'look at that, he might be hurt...ah well, The Rock has to take a shower now, so he can go eat.'

was that Luger's last match before jumping to the WBF? - cos the thing i remember most about SuperBrawl 2 is the Sting match and the announcers really hyping up about "Sting proved beyond all doubt that he's better" and so on and so forth.
-
i predict the Survivor Series match will be on the same level as Taker's matches with the likes of King Kong Bundy and Kamala. just 'bad' rather than 'so bad it's actually fucking funny' like his matches with Giant Gonzales or The Underfaker. i was at the UK SmackDown and the match was like a 2 minute squash, but i can see them giving it 8-10 minutes at SurSer, considering how much of a push Heidenreich's been getting.
-
i've only got the KOTR 93/94 tagged classic, and all mentions of "WWF" are unedited on there, so i guess that'll be the same for all of them.
-
they're straight copies of the original Colluseum Video releases.

err, Lennox Lewis??

can't believe people are moaning that when they watch their TV this Thursday they're gonna see KURT ANGLE wrestle against EDDIE GUERRERO. to me that's a good thing, and something to look forward to. maybe there'll besome Heidenrach or some Orlando Jordan or something to please those people.

rebuttal if by "like no one else" you mean "better than anyone else": - Shawn Michaels.
-
holy shit, if the shows suck that's gonna be a real struggle to sit through 5 hours of wrestling, especially ending at 4am. but if they rock it'll be fantastic.

References: HHH = 4 Eugene = 2 Orton = 2 World Title = 5 Evolution = 3 Benoit = 0 ... and by "Funny", I mean "more proof showing how they make Benoit irrelevant". OMG he's not mentioned on WWE.com - BURIAL! BURIAL! BURIAL! lets see what he does on the actual TV show rather than some internet site preview of the TV show. i'd guess some match (maybe a tag) with some Orton interaction, and JR going nuts about how benoit made HHH tap out twice, and he beat The Game in an Iron Man. (and in storyline purposes, a win over HHH now is as big as a win over Hogan would've been in the 80s/early 90s). -

that's not exclusive to Chris Benoit matches - the WWE writing team repeat booking ideas ALL the time though, and in main events too. hell, on SmackDown last year, within the space of 4 months or so we had Angle v. Lesnar set up by Lesnar attacking Angle while he was the referee in a Kurt Angle match. then we had Eddy v. Angle set up by Angle attacking Eddy while he was the referee in an Eddy Guerrero match. -

yeah, that great push where he was buying cowboy hats for Kurt Angle and playing guitar. that just screams "big time champion" doesn't it? -
basically that reads "a heel tag team were trying to get some heel heat, but were told not to." no wonder smackdown is the shits right now.
