Paul London blasts Hardy, HHH, McMahon, Bourne, Kidman and Brother Ray
Cheech Tremendous replied to Thanks for the Fish's topic in The WWE Folder
He sounds like a little miserable piece of shit with way too high of an opinion of himself. -
This "waiting for 2010" bullshit is getting on my nerves. The likelihood of these superstars jumping to moribund franchises because they have a little extra dough is a pipe dream. Building your team on the hope that you hit the lottery two years from now is a serious slap in the face to your fans and the complete wrong way to build your franchise. Some smart GM is going to clean up in the next year or two as these FA-happy GMs start unloading good players at the chance to have money for a player that will never come to their team.

That one doesn't make a ton of sense. My overpaid crap for yours?

So, it's time for Princess Leena to come clean.

Great, now I can stop going to those stupid Maff chats. All hail the new leader.

I will not ban any of them. However, if anyone does a childish stunt like mocking a poster in their username like CWM is, they will be banned permanently. I don't know yet. I'll be asking Venk and Czech if they wish to return, and maybe more later. Mike will be unbanned, along with anyone who wasn't a spammer. This opens up problems, but the entire history of TSM has had admins banning/unbanning people simply based on "Do I like you or not?". Just to give you a preview of things to come.

I better be getting a cut of that, Kamala.

Favre Retirement II: Electric Boogaloo
Cheech Tremendous replied to Cheech Tremendous's topic in Sports
You can still trade a player that has been franchised without worrying about draft pick compensation. I'd say the chances of Cassel starting the year on the Patriots is less than 5%. -
A couple of friends were in town about a week ago. While hanging out on Saturday night having some beers, we ended up watching about 5 hours of god awful "reality" television shows on VH1. Now, I hardly ever pay attention to these programs, but I know they're popular. Well, now I can see why. The train wreck appeal is off the charts. So, is anyone else watching, or am I representing the lowest common denominator here? Let's talk about your favorite shit shows from America's most worthless network. Here are few of my favorites: Rock of Love Skankbus Ok, I added the skank part. This one is total unintentional comedy from start to finish. Here are 10 or so of the sluttiest skanks VH1 could find following a washed-up 80s rock star on his "tour" or the US. First of all, Bret Michaels still performs? And people pay to see him? These girls throw themselves at a guy that had his last hit record before most of them were born. Great stuff. Celebrity Rehab Sober House I recommend this show for one reason: Steven Adler. The former GNR drummer is probably the most fucked up rock star I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot. The concept is a bunch of "celebrities" (and that term should only be used in the loosest sense here) fresh out of rehab are placed in a sober living house. Well, two episodes in and we have two heroin-fueled relapses by stroke-addled Steven Adler. If he doesn't end up dead by the time this series runs it course I'll be surprised. Tool Academy This is the lamest of the shows I've seen, but the concept is great. They went out and rounded up a bunch of fratboy faggots with lame haircuts and roided-out frames and told them there were going for the title of "Mr. Awesome." In reality, their girlfriends sent them to a "tool academy" to transform them from walking disasters into contributing members of society. Weak show, but laughing at these assholes is never not funny.

I'd just assume they use that LaFrentz contract to acquire Richard Jefferson, Mike Miller or one of the other wings they've been in trade talks for. Amare's better than Aldridge, but that deal seems like making a trade just for the sake of making a trade. They give up some good talent and flexibility for a player that doesn't make them a radically improved team. For what it's worth, I've heard that Chicago is in this thing big time with an offer of Thomas, Gooden, Noah and a pick. That, to me, makes a little more sense. As long as the Lakers don't sweep in at the 11th hour and get him with the shit platter again, a la Pau Gasol last year, I don't care where he ends up.

See, he wasn't disrespecting anyone. It was just a hockey bet gone awry.

Honky Tonk Man's role in The MegaPowers
Cheech Tremendous replied to BlueStang302's topic in General Wrestling
I've heard Honky give this spiel before and I've never believed it. Who knows for sure, though. -
I extrapolated based on the description of his bulky thighs.

Leena's ass is much nicer than Czech's. Other than that, I've got nothing.

Hotel California got five stars. How do you feel about that?

Favre Retirement II: Electric Boogaloo
Cheech Tremendous replied to Cheech Tremendous's topic in Sports
I read somewhere else that there is a contract clause that says if the Jets release Favre and he signs with a NFC North team they have to give up three first round draft picks to Green Bay. I can't, obviously, speak to the validity of that claim but it would certainly make some sense. -
The Ibanez deal was the worst of the offseason. He's a good player, but Amaro totally misread the market for that type of player. I would like to see the Red Sox re-open extension talks with Jason Bay now. His value has dropped significantly given what other comparable players are getting. Then again, he might just wait it out and hope that Holliday resets the market next year.

Screwed up thinking Dmitri was on the 40-man, but I also forgot to add Wily Mo. So now the Nats have Dunn, Pena and Kearns? Look at Jim Bowden getting the band back together. I'd start Dunn, Milledge and Dukes in the outfield with Kearns and Harris backing up. Willingham moves to first. Trade Nick Johnson to the A's and DFA Pena.
