Keith Law thinks every pitcher is a 4th/5th starter or bullpen arm. That's about the top of his praise.

I swore it was coming out this Friday until I checked Fandango the other day. They hit the apex of advertising a week or so too early.

Wrestlescale - Results You are slightly modern in your views about wrestling. You still have some traditional beliefs but you believe that the business must be more entertainment-based and must move away from the old and into the new. Most similar booker: Eric Bischoff Most similar promotion: WCW 1996 Got any feedback on the poll? We would love to hear it so we can improve the Wrestlescale project. Click here

If anything, Quinn is underrated heading into the season. It's easy to pick a guy apart when he spends most of his college career starting for a team that has every game televised nationally. He still had a great completion percentage and overall performance throughout his years. He was the best quarterback in this year's draft and I'd be willing to be he ends up with the best career. Pro Football Prospectus has a good write-up on him in this year's book. Out of quarterbacks taken in the past ten years, he is most similar in terms of expected performance to Carson Palmer and Donovan McNabb. That's not bad company to be in.

So Jon Lester beat cancer and made his big comeback to the big leagues... can we send him back down now since it's obvious that he isn't ready to pitch at this level yet? Clay Buchholz is the better pitcher and has actually proven himself in AAA. Time to make the switch.

Eh, it's about ten years too late. That being said, I'll still go see them.

Is that really something Kerry Von Erich's kid wants to be saying? Technically, she'd be following in his foot step. Right? -
Kielty has a career OPS of .888 against left-handers (.965 in 2006) and he can handle all three outfield positions defensively. I don't see the harm in bringing him in as a 5th outfielder if he is healthy (which he may not be). He certainly offers us a better option than WMP against lefties.

I have an idea for Pacman's finishing move. He throws money in the air and when his opponent tries to grab it, his bodyguard shoots him.

Eric Byrnes is having a career year at age 31 and the Diamonbacks have replacements waiting in the minors. I don't think the money is that crazy given what we've seen on the open market, but I wonder why they would do this extension now when he doesn't really fit into their long-term plans. It just doesn't pencil out for them.

Why you gotta be stealing my crappy thread ideas? -
Is this necessary?

I guess Jermaine O'Neil wants a trade to the Lakers. Yawn. Anyone else getting tired of these guys who are paid to be franchise players complaining when their teams aren't good enough? You are paid to the face of the team, with the entire squad built around you. Stop bitching because you can't get the team over the hump. Public trade demands are so low class.

EDIT: Can't get the link to work. The Red Sox signed Bobby Kielty to a minor league contract today. He is going to spend a few days getting in shape down in Pawtucket before he gets the call up to be JD Drew's platoon partner (or at least that's the plan). He's had some injury problems in the last year, but he absolutely destroys left handed pitching.

Aren't they going to play Mark DeRosa in the outfield? That leaves a hole at second base that could be filled by Patterson.

Don Mossi. The ugliest man to ever play professional baseball. -
I just read that Barry Bonds is not actually human. He is a cyborg sent from the future specifically designed to hit home runs and destroy clubhouses.

Pacman vs. a stripper... book it.

If he wrestles like he plays basketball, he could be the best athlete in the history of the sport.

I once went bowling when I was extremely wasted and scored an 8. Yes, an 8. I still haven't decided if that was a high or low point in my life.

I really liked the Smackdown ep where for reasons i forget DX was walking around outside and they come a cross a bum on the sidewalk. "Will work for food? You can't work. You're like Jericho." That was such a dick move on HHH's part. It was also hilarious. -
