I'm sure the "job" would have consisted of Umaga kicking the shit out of 3 or 4 Jackass guys for 10+ minutes before they ganged up on him and scored some flukey pin. I know many of you hate celebrity involvement in wrestling angles but if those guys bumped like madmen around the ring for a few minutes it would have done a lot for Umaga. It's not worse than working with Jeff Hardy.

Biggio needs to catch, play CF and 2B in his last game. That would bring things full circle. I'm not a fan of the Astros, but I loved Biggio in the nineties. A great player and no doubt first ballot Hall of Famer. I don't think many realize that he was one of the best 2B to ever play the game. Good to see him get out now instead of holding on for another year when the team obviously needs to move on.

It's sort of sad to see Meltz trying to come to grips with the changing landscape of wrestling in the mid 80s. You can see that he hates Vince's vision for the WWF and much to his dismay, it was getting over and drawing big money.

Actually I believe that last time it was brought up it was mentioned that the page views track all activity since the board started and therefore the WWE folder appeared to be the most popular. But anyone who frequents the folders can see the relative lack of activity going on up there versus many of the pop culture folders.

Correlation does not equal causation. I don't think the two good years were solely because Vick was the QB. He's an okay quarterback (top 12-15 in the league) but the team succeeded through a fantastic running game (which Vick is a part of) and a very good defense. It's not like he was so special that Atlanta can't recover.

The mistake was calling them the "New" Blackjacks. Anything with the word new in it usually causes the audience to tune them out as weak imitations. Plus, it's not like the original Blackjacks were so over with the late 90s WWF crowd that using the name would get them any kind of heat. Windham and Bradshaw as ass-kicking rednecks should have been able to get over.

I really don't think that's true. Sports, Movies and CS seem to have much more traffic. Plus, if we bump the wrestling folders down, some of the idiots that frequent them might get lost and TSM would be a much better place.

Oh fuck the Cheesecake Factory. There is always and I mean always, a ridiculously long wait. By the time I get to the table I usually have gone from hungry to thoroughly annoyed. Then they give you this menu with roughly 1,000 items to choose from. I can never find what I want or narrow it down because I have to juggle fifteen pages of choices. Therefore, I end up with some mediocre meal that I didn't want in the first place that comes in such a large portion that I ruin my appetite for dessert, which was the whole reason I came to said restaurant in the first place. Fuck them.
