How about elbowing a 5'7" guy in the balls as "retaliation" or slapping the ball out of someone's glove when you are going to be out? Those things bush league?

Where can these sort of jeans be found online.

Wear a trashbag. It'd be just as flattering as those jeans. -
The A-Rod thing doesn't really bother me morally or as a baseball fan, but it is aggravating that such a great player gets caught pulling this bush league crap all the time. He should be better than that.

It's kind of hard to blame JVG for the Rockets losing in the first round. That series may have gone seven games, but there was no doubt that the Jazz were a much better team. They had mismatches all over the floor.

I'm not much of a fan of the Spurs but you have to admit that they are one great basketball team. I don't even get the whole boring tag either anymore because they're actually a fun team to watch. They can adapt to play just about any style... and succeed at it.

I was reliving some Anglesault posts the other day. What a nutjob.

I'm going the next time I'm up there. But VX, if you want a milkshake go to Burgerville. They are superb.

So Leena's banned.... again

I like Ripper's long-winded and incredibly detailed posts about the NBA that I never seem to agree with. Ever. -
I know there's one in Hillsboro! (near Portland which I think is close to where you are) And yeah, my friends and I got upset about watching those commercials on TV in Miami. The closest Sonic to the Miami area was 75 miles northwest, somewhere in the swamps/boondocks. And I could always go for one of those breakfast foods or shakes they're always advertising. There's one in Hillsboro? Where?

Where are all the Yanks fans on this board? They've been awfully quiet lately.

The only players I wouldn't trade for Kobe are Dirk, Nash, Kidd, Lebron and Duncan. Maybe Garnett and Wade too, but that's about it.
-
The Spurs will likely sweep whomever comes out of the east, so at least the pain will be quick like a bandaid.
-
Are you suggesting that Gordon is the best player on that team? If so, that's ridiculous. I can only think of about three or four players that I wouldn't trade for Kobe Bryant.
-
Never seen one on the west coast either.

I saw it. Good popcorn flick. I don't really have anything postive or negative to say about it. It was just a "meh" film.

How could this possibly fail?

I think the Cavs-Pistons series has been somewhat interesting thus far. They aren't exactly taking the world by storm with their play, but they've had entertaining, close games.
-
Well, there's that and the fact that Brad Ausmus, Adam Everett, Luke Scott and Craig Biggio are playing every day intead of, I don't know, selling hot dogs at the concession stand. Or it could be because you have no starting pitching outside of Roy Oswalt. Other than that, yeah, you guys should be in first place.

This was a much more interesting story when it involved Goldberg and HHH. -
I've seen ads for it for a couple of weeks now.

I don't get why the Lakers would want to keep Kobe in their own division. I'd think they'd want to send him to the Eastern Conference just for the sake of not having to potentially deal with him in the playoffs. Well I said in the first sentence that they would be a good trade partner except for the fact that they are in the same division.
-
With the exception that they are in the same division, I could see Phoenix as a good trade partner. Marion and Stoudemire are both supposedly going on the block this summer. Seems like they could swing something based around those guys. Or how about Gasol and the #4 pick for Kobe. I'm not sure if that works under the cap.

It's going to have be a team with a couple young players or high draft picks coupled with moveable contracts. I can't think of any off the top of my head. I'll have to do some research.
-
That pretty much seals it right there. He's as good as gone. I've never much cared for Bryant, but I think he's handled this situation well. He took the fall for all the Shaq stuff and the construction of the team since. If it's really not his fault, he has every right to be outraged.
-
But did he come though in the clutch?
