I've never been a huge fan of IV. Yeah it's full of the classics, but I've just heard those songs so many times in my life that it's hard to get into the album anymore. Presence gets panned a lot, but I think it's a damn fine album. You really can't go wrong with "Achilles' Last Stand" and "Tea for One" as bookends to an album. The whole thing just feels so epic, yet so raw.

Don't forget La Resistance totally fucking up Spike Dudley on an over the top rope table spot.

Wells/Clement > than any combo of Wang, Chacon, Wright and Pavano Wells is a notoriously slow starter. He doesn't work out in the offseason and he just came in with no spring training. But if he doesn't round into form we have Paps waiting in the wings.

For the Packers fans out there (or NFL fans more knowledgable than me), what is so wrong with Aaron Rodgers? I know that he is no Brett Favre and the organization will have some growing pains with him at the helm, but the way people are talking it sounds like he will never be capable of playing in the NFL and the Packers were morons for taking him. Wasn't this guy neck and neck with Alex Smith to be the no. 1 overall pick just a year ago?

I wouldn't exactly say they got "grilled." Everyone who likes Family Guy knows that it's just a bunch of obscure references and jokes that have no point. That's what they love about it.

But Jeter is so clutch, blah, blah, blah. We don't need stats, blah, blah, blah. It's a worthless argument. People can't seem to grasp the concept that there is no such thing as clutch hitting, and if there was, Jeter sure as hell doesn't have it. Did you even read the stat? Jeter has tied many games, and he's won many games. But this stat is tying and getting the lead all in one swing. That shouldn't take away from his clutchness. Yes, I read the stat and it wasn't really useful at all. I just wanted to point out that it might derail this thread into clutch vs. not clutch. It doesn't matter what stats or research you bring to people, they will never accept that Jeter or anyone else is not clutch.

Don't bother with Coda. It's just not worth it. The version from the Complete Studio Recordings has a couple bonus tracks that are nice, but overall it's just the stuff that was never good enough to make an album in the first place. As far as my favorite album, it changes regularly, but for now I would go with Physical Graffiti. It's long and bloated and self-indulging, but damn is it once piece of fine rock n roll.

Borowiak threw to Tavarez, Gathright slid, and Tavarez tagged him (Tavarez might have gotten spiked). Tavarez then connected with a punch, and players rushed the field. Jonathan Papelbon came running out from the bullpen, and he and Papa Jack pulled Gathright out of the scrum. Devil Rays outfielder Carl Crawford and Gathright were gesturing toward the Sox dugout, but there were no other incidents (though we believe Tavarez was yelling from the dugout). In the bottom of the eighth, newly acquired Red Sox first baseman Hee-Seop Choi was plunked by Rays pitcher Wayne Franklin, and the umps warned both sides.
