I've avoided jumping on the bandwagon, but it needs to be said now more than ever... Poor Shelton

Everyone stops to look at a train wreck... doesn't mean they liked what they saw.

Bullshit. Yeah I know. She was 14.

Halloween is a star in Mexico. I'm assuming he lost a hair versus hair match last night.

Yeah but Thome is an upgrade over Carl Everett at DH and it was nice insurance in case they couldn't resign Konerko. I've heard they have some prospect ready to play Center who they feel is better than Rowand. I don't know much about their system... maybe Al can fill in the blanks.

Maybe they realized that it wasn't Smallball that won them the championship? Why complain about upgrading the team for another run?

Read: He slept with Stephanie McMahon.

We need footage of Macho and a 14 year old Stephanie McMahon on there.

To make another point about the Blazers, they at one time had the record for most consecutive home sellouts. It's only because they have such a bad perception in the local market that they've struggled with attendance. It has little to do with them being down in talent.

How exactly does this constitute a "lifetime ban" when they are allowed to appeal it after two years?

Howard Stern makes fun of Eddie Guerrero.
Cheech Tremendous replied to iliketurtles's topic in The WWE Folder
I was actually listening to this on the way to work this morning. Although it seems to be a lack of sensitivity on Howard's part, they were actually making fun of Eric the Midget, not Eddie. For those who don't listen to the show, Eric is the BUTT of a lot of jokes from Howard's crew and they tease him every time he calls in. There were some insincere comments regarding Eddie's corpse, but once again, it was more staying in character and riling up Eric than anything else. -
Not a bad choice. I personally thought Derrick Lee had the most impressive numbers, but he was never going to get the support needed because of how horrible the Cubs were this year. Just think, had Bonds not been around, we could conceviably be calling this Pujols 5th consecutive MVP award. Chew on that for a moment.
-
espn.com reporting that A-Rod wins the MVP. Even though I'm a Boston homer, I can't really argue this choice. His numbers were better than Ortiz.

Edge, LT and Tiki were 3 of the top 5 picks in my league... that's insane that you got all of them.

2005 VORP 1. Clemens, 80.6 2. Pettite, 72.4 3. Carpenter, 68.4 4. Willis, 68.1
-
Clemens absolutely should have won, just as Santana should have in the AL. I really hate the majority of baseball writers. Why can't they, like everyone else, realize that its the 21st century and that we have better ways on analyzing player performance than wins and losses?
-
Not really. You might have, but not all of us did. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was precisely the moment I decided to stop watching Raw.

Ummm... to which side

Let's see, so if Sid were to make a list of the biggest draws of all time, it would look something like this: 1. Hogan 2. Sid 3. Rock 4. Austin Yeah, that sounds about right Sid.
-
Awesome. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If JBL did the same thing, I doubt many of you would have the same reaction.

Just a guess, I would say HHH and it's not even close. It really depends on how much you want to knock HHH for being on top during a down period. However, he was in the main event for all of 2000, which financially was the best year ever for WWE. I don't think Bret ever had numbers even sniffing what HHH drew. He also headlined WMXX and 21, which were two of the most financially sucessful PPVs of all time. Bret has the international market and that's about it.

Ok so who's in trouble? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Read on another board that the decision was made by Dusty Rhodes. I believe he is on thin ice for this decision, as well as that trainwreck of a segment he booked.
