As bad as Alexander was last year (and he was bad), I can't see a Duckett/Jones platoon being an improvement.

Just caught snippets from an interview with Dusty Baker. He said that he doesn't care for the plate approaches of Joey Votto or Adam Dunn. He feels they should be swinging instead of taking pitches. Sigh. It's almost like he says this stuff just to rile people up.

I think Ole Anderson only made one appearance with the new Horseman. Anderson had been out of the business and working behind the scenes for close to five years at that point. I don't think there were any plans of putting him on tv for an extended period. This may have coincided with his dismissal at the hands of new Vice President Eric Bischoff, but I don't recall the timelines well enough to vouch for that with any certainty. I though Ole was WCW 4 life

Are we really going through with a banning for winner of this thing? It would be really cruel (and hilarious) for someone like the Truthiness to try and log in one day and realize that they've been axed, probably having no clue what is going on down here.

While perusing the Land of Red X's the other day I realized that it's been a couple of years since any threads have been added to the Classics folder (outside of Al's ESPN mis-step). There has to have been some more recent winners that could better reflect the quality posting of our latter days. I think it's time we update that area for some of the new posters. After all, one of TSM's most enduring qualities is its ability to ability to pat itself on the back when it's done well. So go ahead and nominate some of your favorite threads from the past couple of years.
