Seeing as how they don't film things in chronological order, just because it was the last scene shot doesn't mean it's the last scene of the show. It wasn't the last scene shot, they still shot a couple scenes later in the week. It was the final scene of the series according to the producers. Bloomfield originally didn't want the shooting to take place in the town and finally gave in when the producers brought it up in a special town meeting called to discuss the issue. Couldn't find the newspaper or cnn articles that covered it but here is at least one link. http://www.variety.com/article/VR111796090...yid=14&cs=1

I took Bobby leaving his torn shirt and gun at the scene as him fearing Tony. He'd rather get nailed for some murder and lose everything he has than face Tony's wrath that he knows is coming. Final scene of the series was filmed last week in Bloomfield. Didn't see any of the filming but

This year's theme is pretty much people who became stars somewhere other than wwe so Von Erichs would be fine being inducted.

I thought it was a great episode that answered some Desmond questions but raised others just like the great Lost episodes do. Thinking back to season one when Jack revived Charlie after Ethan hung him, there are numerous times death was thwarted from getting Charlie. I thought it was just his luck to get out of the situations, but after Desmond's speech, it's another one of the little things that are added that make the show that much more awesome.

Something doesn't sit right with the whole Jack situation for me. He told Kate to never come back for him when he knows full well Locke, Sayid, Sawyer and a couple others could probably save him easily. Ben woke up during the surgery and talked to Jack for a little bit, then when they left the room so Ben could talk to Juliet, Tom introduced himself to Jack like they were good buddies. And when Juliet told him that she could leave the island if she helped Kate and Sawyer escape, he looked heartbroken. I think Jack's smart enough to realize if he is stuck on the island, the Others are his best option and Ben has gotten to him. That episode is the Lost I had come to love but had been missing for awhile. It had action and suspense while furthering storylines but still adding more questions in your mind. Great episode.

ROH announce big four-way main event for 12/22
keith6601 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in General Wrestling
Gabe has said not to expect a replacement because of how close to the show it is, and the shows being christmas weekend so travel and stuff is crazy. Just expect lineup changes. -
Was there a point to Cena being in that match? I don't think he influenced that much of a difference in the buyrate. Overall another surprisingly good ppv from Smackdown. The ladder match was amazing, the CW match was enjoyable and Taker/Kennedy was as good as the rest of their feud not to mention Taker going for the big spot.

From wwe.com: Horrible news as he just returned a couple weeks ago. Hopefully it is only a broken nose and nothing worse.

Shot of Mercury after the ladder shot he took.

American Pie. The Wedding one wasn't entirely bad because most of the cast came back, but Band Camp was horrible. The new one coming out "The Naked Mile" is all over the place to watch on the net and is actually pretty funny but they should have stopped at 3 without a doubt. -
I was expecting Homicide to give the whole respect speech and offer a handshake, but I was surprised Corino actually shook it. I figured he would walk away like Cide did to him. Except for the Cornette stuff, I enjoyed the show. The dream tag was laid out perfect with Danielson running from Joe everytime Joe looked his way and Rave trying to prove himself against two of the top guys. Danielson helping Rave with Nigel's moves since he's seen them so much was a nice touch. I was letdown when Sydal was first announced as the opponent for KENTA, but he proved that he deserved the spot. KENTA was out to destroy him from the start and Sydal just tried to keep ahead of him. ROH missed the chance to give Sydal the spotlight with the post match Joe stuff though. Sydal could have been left in the ring with KENTA after the pull apart so he could get the accolades he deserved but instead he headed towards the ramp and there was a small pause with him and KENTA. The Corino/Homicide match wasn't the violent "kill the other" war that I thought it would be but it was still violent. When Cide was first busted open, Smokes turned to our section yelling "holy shit". Everything Corino did was perfect and the abuse to his ear was sick. I saw alot of people turning their head away when Cide was using the barbwire bat. This isn't one of those blow away shows that everyone will be talking about, but in no way at all should this show be passed up.

Nigel/Cabana is always fun though but they aren't to wrestle each other again at least for 2006. It's possible Cabana might still be feeling the effects of his car accident and decided to take the night/weekend off. The problem with it being because of effects from the accident is that the match was added this week after it happened. It's totally understandable if that is the reason but why announce the match if it was a situation where they were hoping Cabana would be good to go instead of just adding it the night of the show.

I'm not sure if it's both Juilet and Ben playing Jack or Juliet playing Jack and Ben. During her speech to him last night, I got the feeling that while Ben isn't a saint, Juliet is actually going to end up being the worst of them all once Ben is out of the way.

Is this the first episode where they had made it so obvious what was going to happen and the shit actually happened?

I spent about a week arguing with the wife after the premier that the wide shot of the Others village community you saw the island in the background, but it was a second island. Now that they've revealed there is indeed a second island, she's in bed asleep so I can't gloat. I love how they left the tv with Jack and all he gets to watch is cartoons. Another great episode, this season has been such a high since the first minute.
-
Cornette needs to go back but bring Delirious and have him do the ordering.
-
Yeah, that's how Sawyer realized he was talking to Jack's dad. Without touching anyone else on the island, this season is some of the best tv I've seen. Amazing stuff all around.
-
I was disappointed that nothing was even close to being explained, but I thought it was a great episode. Everyone was amazing. The tension between the others and the survivor in the scene with them came off great. From the previews, it looks like this was the calm before the storm so it was a perfect start to the season.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=MoRjbIQMXGQ If it wasn't obvious before, it is now, they're definitely afraid of the term "war crimes." If the world had any balls, they would put Bush in front of the world court and any law here would be void. And people complained about Clinton, this man has gone well beyond anything he did. It does make you wonder what's happened that hasn't been made public yet. Here's the section of the bill being talked about: ‘‘(2) Except as provided in paragraphs (2) and (3) of section 1005(e) of the Detainee Treatment Act of 2005 (10 U.S.C. 801 note), no court, justice, or judge shall have jurisdiction to hear or consider any other action against the United States or its agents relating to any aspect of the detention, transfer, treatment, trial, or conditions of confinement of an alien who is or was detained by the United States and has been determined by the United States to have been properly detained as an enemy com batant or is awaiting such determination.’’. (b) EFFECTIVE DATE.—The amendment made by subsection (a) shall take effect on the date of the enact ment of this Act, and shall apply to all cases, without ex ception, pending on or after the date of the enactment of this Act which relate to any aspect of the detention, trans fer, treatment, trial, or conditions of detention of an alien detained by the United States since September 11, 2001. All this time he had the entire world convinced he was a moron. Shame on us all.
