    Future Feuds

I can't see this fued going well for Rey. He'll either get squashed, and pull a move out of nowhere to pin HHH, or HHH will crash him from start to finish with Rey getting some token offense in here and there to make you think that he can win, but in the end he'll be counting the lights. Sounds like almost every Rey Mysterio Jr. match in the WWE.

    TUF VII: Middleweights

I don't really feel bad for Amir, win or lose he's going to get a contract and will have a bright future. A loss wont slow him down. The one thing that pisses me off is Matthew Riddle, Dante Rivera, and Cale Yarbrough get invited back for the finale, while Gerald Harris and Dan Cramer don't. Harris and Cramer were much more impressive then those 3 fighters IMO. Hopefully they get future fights for the UFC, especially Harris...

    TUF VII: Middleweights

I appreciate true MMA and I didn't like this at all. So I guess if you appreciate true MMA you don't *have* to like this season. Then again it could be argued that true MMA is what you see skilled guys like Anderson Silva and Rampage doing. Not a couple of newbies flailing wildly or rolling around doing stuff that would easily get them destroyed by any real vet. Who gives a fuck if they are newbies... If they provide entertaining fights, then why criticize? Who the fuck watches TUF and except these fighters to hang with the cream of the crop of their respectable divisons ASAP? That's never been the point of TUF, aside from TUF 4. The whole point of TUF is to build up these fighters from scratch so in a few years they can be at the elite level. Did anyone expect Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Nate Diaz, etc. to be able to hang with the best in the world as soon as TUF ended? Fuck no... Sometimes the lower-tier provide better fights then the main event level fighters... Hell the J-Roc/War Machine fight at the TUF finale was better then the majority of the main events that the UFC provided last year.

    TUF VII: Middleweights

I don't give a fuck what that hater Dama or anyone else says... This has been easily one of the best seasons of TUF, it's up there with TUF5... Fuck all the household drama, and what takes place inside the house, the fights have been fucking awesome... There were a lot of all out wars! If you appreciate true MMA, you appreciated this season.

    The NFL All-Time Draft.

I picked Joe Gibbs simply because of his coaching style... I understand there are a few coaches still out there that are better then Gibbs. But I feel Gibbs style best suits my team. Gibbs thrived on power RB's like Jim Brown, to push the chains, and he knows how to build great o-lines. He's a 3 time fucking Superbowl winner as well, with 3 different quarterbacks. And don't give me that bullshit I'm "young"... I've drafted 3 players who've played before the 80's. Yes the McNabb pick might have been a personal pick(just like you picking Favre when they were better QB's still out there IMO), but even still you underrate what McNabb is capable of because he's embarassed and left you Packers fans heartbroken in the past. And you still hold it against him (4th and 25 anyone?). McNabb has been able to carry a very questionable offense to 3 straight NFC Championship games, and when he finally got a playmaking WR on his offense, the stats showed. And even today he is still a good QB(he had a pretty overlooked season last year).

Why not watch both? Why do you gotta choose one over another? I'm going to be ordering the Affliction PPV, and tape the UFC card on my PVR and watch it after.

There's no maybe about it. I don't know... There is someone else I'd consider, but I don't wanna name drop.

    The NFL All-Time Draft.

Already... I'm going to take a QB, but not the QB you guys are expecting... Donovan McNabb, QB 5x Pro Bowl selection (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004) 2000 NFL MVP runner-up (finished second to Marshall Faulk) 2004 NFC Offensive Player of the Year 75th Anniversary Team Behind Brady and Manning, he has been the best QB of this decade IMO. Great decision maker, great scambler(before knee injuries), and a proven team leader. If he had better offensive weapons through out his whole career, he likely would've had a superbowl ring right now... But he still got it done, with little to no help most of his career, provening he can lead a team. With my team, he doesn't have to worry about not having offensive weapons as he has the greatest RB of all time (Brown), and one of the most talented WR's to ever play the game(Irvin)... I was going to wait until the next round to select him, but I was afraid he would've been taken before that. As for my next pick, with the talent I have on offensive, I'm going to need an offensive guru who knows how to use the talents I have, correctly... Joe Gibbs, Head Coach Super Bowl XVII Champion, 1983 Super Bowl XXII Champion, 1988 Super Bowl XXVI Champion, 1992 NFL Head Coach of the Year, 1982, 1983 Jim Brown is the type of runningback Joe Gibbs thrives on, smash mouth, workhorse RB... He has a great decision making QB(McNabb) to work with, a talented o-tackle(Pace) to build around, and an explosive playmaking WR. I know Gibbs would be able to do wonders with this offensive squad.

The one (and only!) Raw thread for 16/6/2008

Neither is most of the forum, but atleast we're willing to give the devil his due sometimes. Batista isn't a great wrestler by any stretch, but's he is capable of having a great match given the right wrestler.

And you are still problay going to watch this live... I think it's a smart business move. Irvin looked really good knocking out Houston Alexander who was/is a crowd favorite... In a record time. They give Anderson a pretty easy fight without too much trouble to build him up the 205 ranks and set up a potential unifaction bout between Anderson and Rampage/Griffin.

I'm not saying you're not right, but it's kinda hard to actually picture Anderson Silva shoot in for a takedown.

HORRIBLE and inaccurate comparison... Rashad already has main evented before on both PPV and Free TV(granted the UFC 78 was a shitty card all around), and he is a lot more known to the casual fan because of him being a TUF winner, and being shown on free UFN and PPV's. Where as Okami was a foreigner who was pretty much unknown.

Any fight involving Liddell draws interest from the casual American fan.. He is a main event fighter bottom line. This fight will generate even more interest, because Rashad is a household name and is undefeated. I really think Rashad has a chance to win this fight, but the thing with Rashad, you don't know which Rashad is going to show up. The Rashad from the Lambert, Bonnar, Jardine, fights is a championship caliber fighter, where as the passive playing it smart Rashad from the Tito, Bisping, Hoger, fights is not. Either way, Rashad has to training stand up, because he will need to stand with Liddell to set up his takedowns, because he's going to have tough time taking Liddell down. Rashad has good sparring partners and teachers around him(Phil Nurse is his muay thai coach)... I really think even though Chuck is the favorite, Rashad has what it takes to hold his own with Chuck and prove he's an elite level LHW.
