I'll grant you WCW was on its deathbed at the time and the U.S. title's prestige had dropped but it was still a solid mid-card title and IIRC, he even main evented a Nitro or two. I don't know... I'm not really convinced that BJ's stand up is really better then Yves. BJ has more KO power, but as far as technique and speed goes I give the advantage to Yves. BJ did outstrike GSP, but GSP isn't a great striker himself. GSP is an explosive striker and has pretty good acuracy when he's fighting fighters with limited striking skills, but I seen Koscheck tag GSP a few times in the 1st round of their fight as well.

Roan Carneiro joins American Top Team... It's very interesting to see all these Brazilian fighters move up to America to train at elite level training camps. Most of them are all going to American Top Team. I guess the training equipment and facilities in America are a lot better then Brazil.
