    TUF VI: Welterweights

This fight has a lot of hype, but I think it will be lacklustre. I think Floyd is just going to outpoint Ricky "Hit and Hold" Hatton to win a UD by a WIDE margin. I think Mayweather stops Hatton on cuts, Hatton cuts easily. He will take a lot of punches. My uncle also calls Ricky, "Hit and Hold" Hatton, hilarous. I've been watching Mayweather since 1998, and haven't missed a fight of his since he knocked out Genaro Hernedez. I understand casual fans don't enjoy Floyd fights, but you got to really understand the science of boxing to appreciate Floyd's skills. Then again Pernell Whitaker and Bernard Hopkins are my all time favorite boxers, and they don't have a crowd pleasing style.

    This week in the NBA

Either way the window is closing shut on Jason Kidd winning a championship. Kidd is my favorite basketball player ever, and I just want to see him win a ring. It's the only thing he pretty much needs to accomplish. Everyone and their mothers know he was the true MVP in 2001/2002. He's played 13 years and has never been with a great big man, which has hurt him. There's no point in staying in Jersey where they have not made the effort to put great talent around Kidd.

Shame that organization never has had any luck with big men, because Jefferson's playing like an All-Star this year and Carter has been good the last year-plus. Kristic was starting to show a lot before his knees went to shit. Kinda like Rony Seikaly ten years ago...had a career year with the Nets then his body just gave out. Jason Collins is so horrible, he shouldn't start anywhere let alone with a team trying to win the East. Kidd's 35 years old, he won't be playing at an all star level for too long. There are a lot of title contenders that would benefit from a great point guard like Kidd. I hope Houston tries it's best and makes a trade for him, Kidd/T-Mac/Yao would be great.

    Boxing Thread

I've been a fan of Floyd ever since 1998. Great boxer, and a very nice person. I met him in Vegas back when I was in High School, took the time and had a long convo with me about boxing in general. His on-screen persona is only to help build the fight up so him and his opponet can generate the most money, and attrach media attention. Boxing is getting it's BUTT kicked by MMA in ratings, someone will Floyd who is a draw because of his talent and personalitiy is good for the sport.

Anyone who wants to learn from Matt Serra's only black belt. Plus I bet it's a lot cheaper then Serra's or Renzo's gym.

    TUF VI: Welterweights

Well considering he was the KOTC Lightweight Champion, it was pretty obivous this would happen. I'm wondering if he even tried out for TUF5, because he would've be another good fighter on a stacked season.

    TUF VI: Welterweights

I don't see no reason to dislike him... He's young, has a shitload of potential, and humble. He's great for the sport. Atleast he doesn't talk down on other fighters like another farmboy.

    TUF VI: Welterweights

I can't believe Tommy Speers is only 22, this guy has a VERY bright future ahead of him. The full card is set, and here it is... Main Card Clay Guida vs. Roger Huerta Mac Danzig vs. Tommy Speer Jon Koppenhaver vs. Jared Rollins Billy Miles vs. George Sotiropoulous Preliminary Fights Dan Barrera vs. Ben Saunders (possible swing bout) Matt Arroyo vs. John Kolosci Richie Hightower vs. Troy Mandaloniz Roman Mitichyan vs. Dorian Price Paul Georgieff vs. Jonathan Goulet I'd rather see Barrera/Saunders make TV instead of George/Billy, George should easily beat Billy. Where as Barrera/Saunders had a great fight before, don't see no reason why it won't be again.

Ahhhh, brings back memories of Rock/HHH, Ladder Match at Summerslam 1998. Except The Rock was a heel at the time. That was the shit.

He failed the drug test, and look how he's fucking built. Put 2 and 2 together. It's not like the CSAC thought he was completely innocent as well. I personally don't care all that much, BJ Penn pwns Sherk with or without roids. A lot of guys are super built like that and don't do roids. Besides, Sherk has fought while being tested many times and has come clean all but once. Not to mention that this drug has been known to produce many false positives. There is also ways to not be caught, who's to say Sherk hasn't been doing that until he finally got caught? Nick Diaz admits he's a pothead, and he finally tested positive this year. Other MMA fighters weren't suprise to see Sherk tested positive, and most believe he takes steroids.

WWE General Discussion - December 2007

Yeah, "huge name" Carlito is going to tip the competitive balance into TNA's favor. Nobody would care if Carlito showed up in TNA. And even though TNA does dumb things on a regular basis, I doubt they'd even bring him in. Are you stupid? TNA brought in pratically every bum the WWE has released in the past. What makes you think they won't sign a young, charismatic, 2nd generation superstar who actually HAS potential? Get the fuck outta here.
