I agree. The only thing he has done well in is L&O. Fuck outta here, he was bad ass in one of my favorite movies... New Jack City. Surviving the Game was sick as well.

Fisher isn't that deserving of a LW title shot either. Beating Stout isn't all that impressive, Clay Guida or Din Thomas is more deserving than Fisher. It's not about who's deserving or who isn't, it's about generating enough interest for PPV rights. BJ Penn is a draw, and people are interested to see him fight. With him as a champion, there are a lot more interesting fights at LW. Penn Vs. Sherk is the biggest money fight at LW for the UFC right now with Stevenson waiting in the wings. I don't argue that Penn isn't deserving of a title shot, but the UFC is a business and they are doing whats best for business. And you cannot really fault them, if you understand that point of view.

Can't really blame the UFC though, they don't really got enough marketable LW's. BJ Penn is known among casual fans more so then anyone else in the divison. Roger Huerta is becoming a star, but he is no where near ready to be fight any elite level LW's. UFC LW's is pretty much filled of up and coming, young fighters. Maybe when Matt Serra losses his WW title, he moves back down to 155 to make things more interesting.

While Crash was a great movie, I saw him more as Ludacris in the film, not his character. I thought he did a better job in Hustle & Flow, espcially the drunken scene with Terrence Howard where he gets beat down(isn't it funny he gets beaten up by Terrence Howard in 2 movies?). He was really good in Law & Order as well. He has potential.

2007: Most disastrous year in WWE history?
Lt. Al Giardello replied to Dobbs 3K's topic in The WWE Folder
As mentioned SD! was very good in 2003. The main event scene was Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, The Undertaker, Big Show(before he was a lazy peice of shit, and was capable of a good match with the right opponet). You had John Cena on his rise to becoming the next big star for the WWE, and arguably his best year as a character. WGTT tearing up the tag team divison having good matches week in and week out. The return of the U.S. title. And overall good wrestling weekly. -
Stop being a hater.

I disliked ATL, but was actually impressed by T.I's performance. He has potential thats for sure, and I'm not really a T.I. fan all that much.
-
It all depends on how Sherk's appeal goes... If he's stripped it will likely be Penn Vs. Stevenson for the vacated title in November. If not, then Penn will fight Sherk for the title. Either way Penn is getting a LW title shot.

Have you seen In Too Deep? LL Cool J defiently broke the sterotype of his typical roles in that film. Can't believe I forgot Andre Benjamin, he is a natural for sure.
-
LL Cool J isn't that bad as well. I was REALLY impressed by him in In Too Deep. His character was just so cold hearted.
-
Sure the majority of his films are trash, but when he's on he can hang. Boyz N Tha Hood, Higher Learning, Three Kings, BarberShop were all great performances IMO.

Will Smiths two Oscar Nominations tend to disagree...although I disagree with one of those two Oscar Nominations (I was completely unimpressed with him in Ali) I don't know where Mos ranks, but him, Will and Queen Latifah are indeed the best. Did you forget about Ice Cube by mistake?

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread
Lt. Al Giardello replied to RavishingRickRudo's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
So it other words, it was nothing more then a lucky shot? Sounds like Edgar came in the fight not really preparing his stand up(nor was he concerned about Bocek's stand up) and focused more on his ground game and got caught with a punch. Edgar's stand up looked good against Tyson Griffin. -
Carlito's Way >>>>>>>> Scarface.

Edgar's strengths is Fisher's weakness. Fisher has horrible wrestler, and Edgar is a very good wrestler. I doubt Fisher will be able to scramble his way up to his feet if Edgar takes him down, and will most likely get GNP'd. I haven't seen the Edgar/Bocek fight(anyone link me to it?) but from the PBP I read, it was Edgar who dropped Bocek. -
Man after watching the trailer, I can't wait another week.
-
Doubt he will go to TNA. He'll problay just retire from wrestling. He's 42 years old, he doesn't have a lot of years left in the business anyway.
-
I remember LOTC giving me shit a few months ago about saying Kongo has a chance against Cro Cop because of his style, now what?
-
Seems too many people catchin feelings off my posts in a forum labeled "NHB"(aside from KOAB). So I would like declare my retirement. I'll stick to the Sports, Music, and Wrestling parts of the board. Good bye.

I believe the plan is to give Batista the belt, and have Edge beat him for it when he returns. -

The wrestling internet community is full of whiney little bitches, who have to always find a reason to complain about the WWE. Getting worked up over it is just a waste of time. -
WWE General Discussion - September 2007

Bad, bad, move. Cryme Time was over with the fans big time. -
WWE needs to sign Y2J right now.
-
If MVP is booked right, he'll atleast be SD! Champion by Summer 2008.
-
I'm an MVP fan, but I agree. He has the potential to become a big draw for the WWE, he's young, charismatic, and is picking up working a good match at a fast pace. He needs to be built up, I'd have him winning Money In The Bank at Wrestlemania 24.
